St. Patty's Day Treat
Remember the old Hug a bodies? Well here's a cute little fellow for St. Patty's Day. I used the Petal Card Big Shot Die for the body and the small top note punch for his hat and circles for the face, feet & hands. Hope you like him.

July 4th Favor Box
The round top box has been featured on SCS and my friend, Cindy, was kind enough to send me the template. I used the Big Shot and cut stars from a Sizzix Die and covered them with SU's new Chunky Glitter. If you use this glitter the best way to adhere it is with Crystal Effects. The colors are Ballet Blue base with Real Red and Whisper White accents. I used punches for the scallop circle and circle, ovals, etc. Filled with Cherry sours and Voila' a cute litte July 4th favor.

Yellow Rose
Quilted Card
This is the best way to use scraps... quilt your card. Cut 12 1 1/4" squares and adhere next to each other on a 4 1/2 x 5 piece of cardstock and then cut with the Big Shot Top Note die. Adhere to the cardstock (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) and run thru the Big Shot with a Cuttlebug Embossing folder and Voila' quilted card. I stamped the stitching with Hero Arts stitching stamp and not too well I might add but...

Stippled Rose (retired)
I used Stampin' Up markers to color this rose. I love the stamp but it is retired. Colors are Blush Blossom & Rose Red; leaves are Mellow Moss & Garden Green. I used Mellow Moss for the card stock and the new Textured Textile Copper Sheet scalloping the edges.

Cherry Purse
I saw this on some gal's blog and for the life of me I can't remember who... but would love to give proper credit. It is made using the 5.5 Circle scissors with the card stock glued on the white backing that comes in the DSP paper. The cherries are 3/4" punches and the stems are hemp rolled in green ink! The liner is a white paper bag with the top cut off below the handle holes which are tied with matching ribbon.
It is so cute and what a great way to use the embossed Rock A Billy paper.

First Copic Attempt
My DD sent me a full set of Copic Ciao Markers and this is my first attempt and I sure need lots of practice. I do hope one day to be able to color well with them. This is a retired SU hygrangea; Creative Memories ribbon but SU card stock! There are loads of videos on U-Tube and they are really great! I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Eggs-tra Special
Told you one of these days we would get around to SCRAPPIN'. We made these 12x12 pages in a class the other night and I wanted to share them with you. It is a combination of SU and Cricut. The eggstra was cut from Cricut using Design Studio as well as the little eggs.
This is an interactive page since you can pull up the 1/2 egg and it reveals the little chicken. We used the new Tea Party Designer Paper. Everyone had a good time creating and eating Pizza! Next class will be a Camper page!

Good Friend
This is my first card using the new Good Friend stamp set. The bird is just the perfect size for any project. I cut him out and he is on dimensionals; the feet & beek are glued directly to the card. The background paper has been laying on my table for a month and is the last I had of that OLD, OLD paper soooo I just had to use it. A sage shadow ribbon accents this card. The Bashful Blue scallop circle is the medium SU die cut and the words are stamped on 1/2 Cuttlebug scallop square.

Have a honey of a day...
and with this cutie you can't help but smile! Love this new set as well. The little bees are so cute. I created the honeycomb background by brayering a piece of bubble wrap then place the CS on top of the brayered bubble wrap and rub and instant HONEYCOMB! I cut the little bee out and drew a trailer w/ my black SU marker. You can't see it on the picture but I used the Spica pens on the wings so they sparkle when the light hits them.

Thoughts & Prayers #2
I used Rose Red for this quick Sympathy card. This set makes it so easy since it has 2 beautiful designs and several sentiments. I cut 3 sections of printed (retired SU) paper for the background; ribbon is 1/4" Rose grosgrain SU ribbon. I added the decorative SU brad in the corner. The sentiment is mounted on the inside with another piece of Rose Red paper and 2 ribbon tails and there is still plenty of room to write a personal message.

Thoughts & Prayers
Don't you just love this set? The tree is gorgeous! I made this for a sympathy card out of Ruby Red CS and brayered one of the new texture plates and ran it thru. The tree was stamped on a top note die; ribbon & buckle is SU. I stamped the inside verse on a separate piece of paper and mounted it on a Ruby Red mat which added alot to the inside of the card.

St. Patty's Day
My oldest DD's birthday is St. Patty's Day and what a perfect card. I used Garden Green and the Level I hostess paper package (6x6). The shamrock is made from 3 hearts cut from a punch accented with a little pearl heart. I just love the colors. The scallop is from the medium SU Big Shot Die, 3" & 2 3/4" from the Circle Scissors. Makes a great Birthday Card OR just a note card for the occasion.

Quickee Post
Just wanted to share this cute little St. Patty's remembrance! It was cut using the Petal Die (Big Shot), gluing the 3 petals together, stamping 'Yummy' (cut that out). I added a little shamrock using the small heart from the 3 heart punch (SU) and Voila' instant handout! Thanks for stopping by.
PS I used Garden Green paper from the Level 1 Hostess gifts!

Happiness
OHHHHH I hit the wrong button and lost everything I typed on this post! Ugh...
I brayered the Texture Plate with Handsome Hunter and textured the Handsome Hunter Paper. It really makes the impressions POP. The Lovely as a Tree was stamped with Chocolate Chip on the new Textile Texture paper and accented with Chocolate Chip Satin ribbon (retired). The Happiness stamp is also retired but I messed up the bottom of the card and it fit so - never discard a mistake, just be MORE creative. That is also why I added the mini eyelets on the side, I got ink on the corner!

Heart Box
I know Valentines is over but you can give your heart at anytime! Using the petal box Big Shot die I created this little heart box using Rose Red paper. The printed was from an old 6x6 pad SU retired. The box measures 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 and holds 3 chocolate squares or maybe some kisses or whatever you want to put! Nice little remembrance gift for someone special.
I adhered the paper to both sides of a cardboard sheet that was on the back of some designer paper and then cut the die. The stamp is from Dear Friend, Level I Hostess Set. Enjoy!
Also wanted to mention, I have noticed that some of my scheduled posts are not being sent out so pls go to my blog and check out any you have missed! Click HERE

Mini Magazine Holder
These are so cute. I have seen several versions all over the internet. I made this today using Apricot Appeal and the SU Hostess Level 1 paper pad. It holds 4 gift note cards (3 x 3). I do plan to make another a little bigger to hold 4 x 4 cards... one day! I used Happy Thoughts (retired) on each card with a flower on top w/ a pop dot for dimension.

Coffee Break
This little stamp set is from Gel-A-Tins and I embossed it with Chocolate Bliss Jelly Embossing Powder from Crafters Alley. When you open the envelope you get a whiff of Chocolate. I used the new SU To the Nines paper and some older SU ribbon. The card is accented with Creative Memories button brads. The square in the middle measures 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 and you punch each side using the SU border scallop punch. I stamped a cup of coffee on the inside as well.

Acrylic Cherry Box
Using the empty acrylic container another Big Shot die came in, I cut the SU box out of the acrylic, filled with Sour Cherries, added ribbon. I used the chunky red glitter (SU) on a chipboard heart and attached 'the key to my heart'. Very quick and easy Valentine gift or for any other occasion. I love using acrylic left-overs for projects. You can also emboss this BUT the lighter weight acrylic embosses easier than this heavy weight one so I did not put it thru the embossing folder. The little box can be dressed up or just plain is fine.

Texture Plates
I found that if you brayer the new Texture Plates, it really makes them POP. This is the first card I made using Chocolate Chip and Handsome Hunter. I also used the Textile Texture paper, brayered the Texture Plate with Handsome Hunter and ran it thru the Big Shot. You have to wash the ink off the plate and be sure to wipe the rubber mat or wash it off as well since a little ink gets on that too! Brayering the plate sure added to the depth.
Thanks for stopping by.

Textures of Textile
I wanted to make something using the new SU Textures of Textile papers. I love Handsome Hunter and have not used that lately either so... The card did not turn out exactly as I expected but I still like it. I used a Vanilla Hodge Podge label to embellish this card accented with Chocolate Chip. I am not sure what SU will do when they retire Lovely as a Tree; it is such a GREAT set! A combination of these papers would be good for a masculine card. I'm going to try another one today.

Upsy Daisy
I used Urban Garden Designer Paper; Basic Gray & Not Quite Navy cardstock. I love Not Quite Navy and it gets overlooked! but is really a beautiful color. The label tage is from the Vanilla Hodge Podge kit and it fits the label punch perfectly. I stamped off and put some of the daisy's on the inside but still faint enough to write over. Basic Gray ribbon accents the card along with a matching envelope!
Can't believe I overlooked this Designer Paper in the last catalog. It is really pretty. I missed posting yesterday, am trying to work out some scrapbook pages for my Scrapbook Club Friday night and finally settled on an Easter Theme. I have always found it tougher to develop a page without pictures first. LOL Sorry the picture is a little blurry; gotta recharge the camera AGAIN.

Rockabilly Designer Paper
And yes it is YUMMY too. Some of the sheets look embossed and if you don't like the skull pattern the backside is just gorgeous. I made this card because finally I bought some Riding Hood Red ribbon! from the Dress Up Ribbon Collection (SU). It is so nice to use current paper for a change. It's a simple card and the buttons (SU) just set it off.

To the Nines New SU paper
You just have to love the new papers Stampin Up has come out with! To the Nines is as thick as cardstock and what pretty patterns. Great for masculine stuff yet you can make anything out of it. Great for scrapping too. I made this masculine Get Well Card today and finished the box I cut out last night. Believe me the paper is great and textured as well! You have to try it.
The card has a Chocolate Chip base and Sage Shadow ribbon to complete the look. I used a Cuttlebug die to cut the 'get well soon'. The box was made using a new Big Shot Die from Stampin' Up. It is so cute and can be used for so many things. Dress it up or down -- Just fan-tab-u-lous!
Thanks for coming by

Pizza, anyone???
These are the cutest little boxes I have ever seen. They are 3x3 and perfectly fit the Yummi Pizzas. What a great favor for a child's party or school group and the 'pizza' is not too bad either! I used the Voila' chef and words just stamped in black ink. To finish it off you can tie a gingham ribbon around the outside. These were made from Kraft & Confetti paper. I have seen them on the web before but can't remember where! Oh an added bonus, after you eat the pizza the plastic container is perfect for a shaker box! (recycling)

Extended Box Big Shot Die
Good Morning Sunshine!
Inspired by a card I saw by Beestamper, I used the new SU Good Morning Sunshine paper. The reverse scalloped square was made using a 2 3/4" Square and the straight scallop edge punch punched on each side. The butterfly (Hostess Set Level 1) was embossed with black detail powder and colored with SU markers and adhered using a pop dot.

Get Well Card
Good Morning Sunshine! It's a little busy but HAPPY! Love that new designer paper - SU Good Morning Sunshine. This is a get well card (cut from Cuttlebug); the little flowers were made using the dies that came with the Big Shot (SU); ribbon - Kiwi Kiss. I am really going to hate to see the In-colors go away. They are so pretty.
Maybe this card would be just the 'cheering up' you need!

Woven Paper Basket
I am teaching a class Saturday to make this basket. It is the cutest thing! Would it not be great with a bunny on it for Easter filled with goodies or done in red for Valentines filled with more goodies. It is so versatile, you could use it for lots of occasions.

PS I am working on some scrapbooking to post soon.
Big Shot Bird Die
This was created using the Big Shot Bird & Branch die. It was a challenge to get the little leaves and branches out but finally got them. I brayed the cardstock (Whisper White) with So Saffron & Apricot Appeal; masked the moon and brayered with More Mustard and then sponged a little on the moon for depth. The stamp is from Love You Much and says 'friend to friend'. The corners are accented with strips of Black ribbon. Was quick and easy.

Circle Scissors!
Debbie Naylor, my adopted SU Manager, shared this from Orlando Leadership. I used Bravo Burgundy & Very Vanilla Cardstock. The base is a 6" circle cut from the new Circle Scissors from Stampin' Up folded one inch in from both sides and 2.5 inches from the bottom to form a pocket which is perfect for a gift card or just a simple note. The stamp set is Yummy Sale-a-brations set. The pull tab was made using Bravo Burgundy satin ribbon. Enjoy.
