Dog/Cat

I recently received the Dog and Cat stamp set FREE using my Sale-A-Brations. I made these two cards for an upcoming stamp a stack! They can be used when someone gets a new pet OR you can change the saying for loss of a beloved pet. Our animals usually take a back seat so I wanted to try something different. I hope you like them. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Snow, Snow and more Snow!

Here in Central Virginia we're up to about 8" so far today and it is still coming down. I guess this means house bound for a few days but o well ... stamp, stamp, stamp! So far at least it is not ice and we have power! Here are a few things I have been doing the last few days. The mouse and monkey are for my Punchie class next month. The monkey was put on a gift bag BUT he is suitable for a scrapbook page or greeting card. This was a pattern I purchased from Kim Score and the were 'Love Monkeys'. The mouse can be for Valentines or for any type card. He is just cute and can be done in Gray or Chocolate Chip. The third card has the scrunchie flower on it made by punching about five stamped images and scrunching them up. The button is sewn on to hold them together. I love the pink and brown combination. The paper is from the Sweet Pea collection in the Mini-catalog. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Coca-Cola Can Card

This is one of the best reasons to love your Big Shot! It cuts CANS -- I told a friend I didn't drink canned drinks but I wanted to cut some snowflakes. Well lo and behold she saves me a bag full of cans and at the same time a co-worked saved me a bag full. So now I have cans, cans, cans! I ordered the Black Groom DSP wrong for a customer so I need to make things using the black. Thus the black mat. Well I liked the idea of the black mat so I came up with using the lattice Big Shot die. Then naturally green leaves came to mind 'growing' on the lattice work. After I cut the lattice I noticed all the 'petals' as left-overs so I decided to make flowers out of the petals and also put one as a bud! To top all this off, yesterday I dropped my Pretties Kit. And if you ever thought you didn't get many embellishments, just drop the kit and then try to pick it all up and sort it again to put it back in the box! There's LOTS of embellishments so I figured ah, little 1/2 pearls as the flower centers. Last but not least I had 12 inches of black satin ribbon left from a full roll after my Stamp A Stack on Sunday and 'just enough' to accent the front of this unusual card... Don't you just love it when a 'mish-mash' of ingredients come together so nicely. BTW the card stock base is Rose Red and the sentiment is from Bella Blooms which is FREE as a Sale-A-brations set. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Happy Moments

This sympathy card was made using the Happy Moments Stamp Set from the Sale A Brations catalog and Sweet Pea Designer Paper with Bordering Blue. The new scallop edge and border punch accents the mat beautifully! The saying is from Thoughts and Prayers and the stamping on the cardstock is also from that set done in Bordering Blue. I hope you like it. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Quick Card, Quick Post

I was cleaning off my craft table and found all the pieces to make this card. Took 5 minutes! It's for a co-worker and kinda fits. I used Ballet Blue and wanted to use the Notes to Self Stamp set. I have had the 'you're the best' done for ages so it was kinda a 'scrappy' card! Thanks for stopping by... and keep those spare parts, you never know! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Black & White Valentine

Well I ordered the wrong paper for a customer and ended up with this Black Groom Paper so I decided to use it. I stamped the flowers on the back with White craft ink and cut them out so the front for the black shiney paper showed and studded them with crystal brads. Sentiment is from a hostess set and the sides were punched with the new Heart border punch. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Sale A Brations Paper

This is from the 6x6 pad from the FREE Sale-A-Brations collection. I used the also FREE stamp set to put the houses on it. Very Quick card! Bella Bloom provided the sentiment. Would be a good card for Open House or House Warming! TFL Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Quick Valentine

I used the Sweetheart Stamp Set from Stampin' Up to create this card. It is quick and easy. I stamped directly on the Sending Love DSP and then used the scalloped heart Sizzlit; stamped the leaves in Garden Green and cut them out. The little bird is stamped and cut out and all are on Dimensionals. I slso used the new heart border punch for the side of the card. Hope you like it. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Vintage Valentine

This was inspired by Eileen LeFevre and is the first card I have made in a while. I have been sooooo busy! But that's good too. I used the Vintage Vogue Clear Mount Stamp Set in the Mini-Catalog (Stampin' Up) and to my dismay, the tiny leaf is GONE... It is so small it just fell out and for a change I vacuumed today so guess it dig in the old vacuum bag! O well could be worse! I hope you like this card. I did use Kiwi Kiss for the green and ribbon which is discontinued. Go get INKY! I hope to post some more today (FINALLY) Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Life happens...

I have not posted lately and have been extra busy getting prepared for Stamp A stacks, classes, clubs & workshops. Great for my SU biz but I have had to neglect everything else! I am posting some stuff I made recently but not shared. I hope things will settle next week for me and I can make some 'WOW' stuff for ya! These cards were inspired by others and it has been so long I don't remember where I saw them! (but thank you for sharing) The purple/red die cut box was made for a friend of mine for her Red Hat group. Thanks for stopping by. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Friends POP

Sorry I have not posted in a few days been a little under the weather but it is getting warmer here and feeling better. A friend of mine gave me these pre-made envelopes so this is the newest creation! A bag of microwave popcorn fits perfectly! The saying reads 'people pop in and people pop out, friends are stamped in the heart forever'. The 'people' were created using MDS and the saying computer generated. I stamped the envelope with pretty in pink and real red hearts. The elastic silver cord slides down so you can open the package! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Baby Blocks

The 3 x 3 Deco Accent Blocks are still available in the Decor Elements Catalog. (page 3 - 116829 $9.95) I used Sage Shadow, Pale Plum, Barely Banana & Bashful Blue. These make a great gift and accent for any baby's room. I put B A B Y on all four sides so you can arrange using any color you choose or mix them up! I cut 3 of each letter and layered them so they looked faux chipboard. The white mats are 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 and punched in the middle of each side, stamped with the Vintage roller in the New Occasions Mini. I did not heavily embellish but that's not to say it can't be done! I may 'update' them and embellish more but ... we'll see. Thanks for stopping by. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Valentine Things

These were all made using Sending Love Designer Paper and Real Red Cardstock. The pencil is an arrow! I made the bookmark using an over-sized paper clip. The hanging heart was cut from the Petal Card Stampin' Up Die and decorated with one of the new stamp sents from the Occasions mini - Love Bandit. It hold a piece of chocolate candy (of course)! Don't you just love Valentines Day! My time is flying by! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Love You Valentine

This card was a bit time consuming (but worth it) and inspired by Gretchen Barron. The coat, hat & scarf was cut from the Sending Love Designer Paper. Love the Chef! I used brads for the buttons and a touch of pink ribbon for accent. The oval is the SU die cut scalloped oval frame and the white was inserted for contrast. Until next time! Valentine Birdhouse

I was going to post this tomorrow but decided to go ahead tonight and do it. Every morning when I sit down at my computer and think I'll only be a few minutes... three hours later I'm still here so I am NOT gonna do that tomorrow. This was made using the little milk carton die in the new Occasions Mini-Catalog using the Sending Love Specialty DSP for the bird and roof. I really like that new bird punch, he is so cute! (Page 10 Item - 117191) Isn't this the cutest little box and what a great ornament! My mind is racing with things to do with this litte birdhouse! Hummmm what a great 'box' for that special ring for that special someone? A little shred, a big diamond! WOW. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Note Tin

Great idea for pocket or purse or even in your glove compartment of the car! How many times have you been on the road and needed to jot something down and 'no paper or pencil'. Well this is your answer and it also makes a great gift. Start with a CD hinged tin (these were sold on the Clearance Rack at Stampin' Up). The calendar was printed on my computer and the $-Store had the pens along with the pads for only $1. How much better can it get? I used the Cottage Wall Designer Paper to cover the top and inside and Rich Razzleberry cardstock. This idea was inspired by Mary Jo Price-Williams. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Quick Card

Karen Philipp was the inspiration for this card. I used the Write Stuff DSP for the card with Soft Suede and Rose Red Cardstock. A button with hemp accents the message. The sentiment is from a new set coming out in the mini- TOMORROW! If you want to see the new Occasion Mini go to my Stampin' Up website or to Stampin' Up and look thru it. There was a shipping delay so you have not received your copy in the mail. Sale-a-brations starts tomorrow too! WOW what great new stuff! Check back tomorrow and I'll post the some of the samples I made for my 'Introduction' Open House tonight! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'
