Progressive 12x12 page

This page started out being 6x6 for a challenge but I needed a 12x12 for the scrapbook. The scans are off color but the page is Very Vanilla using Wild Wasabi for accent with the Designer Paper matted on Crumb Cake. Chocolate Chip mats the small pictures down the side and I took a picture of his very own comb an brush as an accent picture at the bottom with the date on it! It was a fun page to make! Hope you like it. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Quick Halloween Treats

Chris Kolly at Rubber Room Ramblings has a neat video on her blog with instructions to make this cute Trident gum holder. Cute & good for the kids as well. I just loved it. We don't have any kids for Trick or Treat but I made these to have on hand for any visitors! If you don't have the new Stampin' Up Owl punch you just don't know what you are missing! That punch and the bird punch are the most versatile punchs we offer. Thanks for stopping by. Thank you Chris for sharing your talent! You can't see it on the scan but the black paper is embossed. One with the spider web and the other two with swiss dots embossing folders. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Stamp A Holics 134 Challenge

This Friday's 10 minute color challenge is brought to us by Cynthia Stevenson! Great Colors, Cynthia! I must admit I made this card a few weeks ago and as soon as I saw her challenge it came to mind. My DH had a heart attack Sunday night and this week has really been hectic and a little crazy around here so I did not get a chance to make another card. I do love that stamp and technique. This card took about 15 minutes to make and I think the punching took more time than anything! LOL I really do love these colors. Thanks for stopping by and I have the Challenge next week so stop by for another INSPIRATION! Oh and don't forget to go by Carole'Anne's blog for more Designer Team goodies and please join in. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Cutie

My little grandbaby won the cute baby of the week contest sponsored by our local radio station! so I made a page for him. I used the onsie Stampin' Up roller and then cut two and put them on with Dimensionals. My DH (darling hubby) had a heart attack Sunday night and is in the hospital. He is doing ok and will be home Thursday. I am so grateful he will be ok. He will still have to have surgery but not for another month or so. So needless to say I have not been able to get much stamping done! I told him he should not interfer with stamping like that!!! LOL He promised he wouldn't! Anyway life will return to normal soon. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Santa

I have always loved this stamp and finally got it but has taken forever to use it. So today I made this quick card using the Santa stamp and some retired designer paper! The bow is 5/8 Red Satin Ribbon. It was quick and easy to color using the aqua painter and ink. Thanks for stopping by... another busy day ahead! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Thanksgiving

This is a sneak peek from the new MINI which should have appeared in lots of mail boxes this past week and if not you can get one from your local demo! If you need one, lemme know. Anyway... The punch is the large label and the matting is made by cutting two of another color. Angela McKay explains how to do this in a super video! The stamp set is Day of Gratitude - 121148, another great set. The medallion is spritzed with the Smooch Spritz; you can't really tell on the scan. NOW you will fall in love with the new Autumn Designer paper. It is beautiful as well as a heavier cardstock and great for any project! The Christmas Tag was made using the matting method and I put a blank label on the back, punched a hole, added a brad and yes the picture is upside down. LOL Thanks for stopping by. Until next time! Christmas

Made this card using Early Expresso & Cherry Cobbler. I cut the Jolly Holiday Designer Paper with the Sizzix Scallop Rectange. The greeting is from Occasional Quotes Hostess Level III. The ribbon is the Early Expresso Taffeta. I ran the piece of Early Expresso cardstock thru the Big Shot with one of the Texture Plates. Don't you just love the texture plates? If you have not tried them they really add alot of texture to a card! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Quick Ornament Card

Snow Swirled was the set used to create this card. I used Cherry Cobbler ink and cardstock. Rhinestones accent the ornament as well as the sprig of holly. I used the new snowflake embossing folder for the Whisper White and a double 5/8" satin bow. Quick and easy card for Christmas. YOu can substitute rhinestone with pearls. I outlined the edges of the Whisper White with the Silver Pen. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Stamp A Holics Challenge 133

This has been a really busy week so I took Lesley Croghan's 10 minute Sketch and made a quick 6x6 scrapbook page, not a card! It is my little grandson and his Bad Hair Day! I plan on making this a progressive page by adding some more pictures and putting it on a 12x12 page when time permits. Thanks Lesley for such a great sketch. This little page only took about 10 minutes. I used Wild Wasabi as a base and Woodland Walk Designer Paper. The little birdie is the SU Bird Punch and my sizzlit die cut letters out of Early Expresso. OOPS forgot to add the sketch! Now hop on over to Carole'Anne's blog and follow the other DT and their posts. Also play along and post your own! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Proud Granny

My baby boy (grandson) won the Cutest Baby contest at our local radio station Q99. I was so excited I just had to share it with my cyber friends. I will post some cards or maybe a scrapbook page tomorrow! Had to work my day job today. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Two Card Shares

Two cards I made this am between running after my grandson. Think I'll call it quits for today and chase him! LOL The little trees were cut with Cricut Designer Calendar Cartridge (1 1/4") and embossed with the new snowflake embossing folder that will be available September 1! I used the Christmas Designer paper for the trees and Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Cardstock. The other card was inspired by Becky Jensen but used the new designer paper for the InColors; stamped the image and then cut it out; adhered with Dimensionals. Don't you just love that Stampin' Up has provided this paper in all the colros. Hope you like it. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

A Little Birdie...

Ilina Crouse made little bookmarks using a frog and turtle and I immediately thought of this little birdie I had seen somewhere. So here he is! Isn't he the cutest thing? You could use any small animal. I plan a cookie monster and elmo one. What a neat back to school little gift! I used two Stampin Up Dimensional Glue Dots to adhere him 'over' the clip and then put another black 1 3/4 circle on the back to hold them together. Wings are the modern label bunch and feet from the snowflake punch. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Plain and Dazzling

Inspired by Lee Conrey - simple but stunning! Quick and easy as well. Using the Snow Swirled Stamp Set stamped in Silver and studded with rhinestones from Stampin' Up. Just love it. You can use any color to accent this card and also change ribbon color. Thanks for stopping by. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Paper Bag Gift Wrap!

I made this paper bag using a regular lunch bag purchased at Walmart, trimmed the top with the scallop border punch then stamped French Foliage (121166) with Cajun Craze Stampin' Up Classic Ink. The bag is tied with hemp! Great gift wrap for a masculine gift. Love the new Stamp set available September 1 from the Holiday Mini-catalog. Lots of great new stamps in store for you! Today, I also made these two cards inspired by ones I had seen previously on the 'net' somewhere! They are both easy, peasy and great for a quick greeting when in a hurry to send a card. They both can be dressed up or down and still striking. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Stamp A Holic Challenge 132

This cool color combo is brought to us by the very talented Carole' Anne Sluchinski. What a great selection. Hop over and see what the other design team members came up with! You won't be disappointed. I used the Stampin Up set Just Believe and punched the little flowers using the BoHo Punch and topped them off with a mini pearl from Stampin Up's stick on pearls! My extra color is Garden Green! This was an easy, peasy card taking about 10 minutes. PS not sure why the scan is pinkish but it is made from Poppy Parade! Until next time! Bookworm

This was inspired by a card done by Rebecca Buckland! It was so cute. I wish I had used a lighter background but he turned out ok. I used Stampin' Up's textured plate to get the texture in the book pages! The worm was done with Garden Green and 1 1/4 punches, 1" punch, 3/4 punch and the little one that is in the set of three for the bitty buttons. I added the apple using the 3/4 punch and a sliver of brown for the stem. Thanks for looking. Oh BTW Connie Babbert made a cute school card using the Punch Owl instead of the worm. I will try and get one posted in a day or so. Well I'm off to scrapbook! Have a great day and stay out of the heat. Until next time!Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Christmas Collage

This new background Christmas Collage Stamp will be introduced in the Stampin' Up Holiday Mini available September 1! It is gorgeous and too pretty to cover up. I used Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green. The ribbon was dyed using the Cherry Cobbler SU Marker! I punched out the '25' and cut the verse (retired Bella Blooms) and added with Dimensionals. Hope you like it. Was quick and easy as well. BTW it is an oversized card 6 1/4 x 4 1/2 but will still mail with a regular stamp! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Stacked Hearts

A friend of mine sent me a card similar to this as a sample. The original was made by Kerin Sylvester. Here is my take. She used paisley hearts on black. I used the heart punch then clear embossed them using the Stampin Up Fine Flourish and Versamark. Then I punched a heavy paper scallop sizzlit heart and glued them together. I think the arrangement is great. Oh I used scrap paper so just to have this sample. Thanks for stopping by. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Anniversary Today!

Today's our 34th anniversary of wedded bliss! So I made this card for the occasion. The birds are die cuts from the Leaves #2 set with the wing from the 2 step bird punch. They are on Dimensionals on the branches cut from the die cut Birds on a Branch. Have a great day! BTW my internet has been down once again!!! Until next time!Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Challenge 130 - Stamp A Holics

Sandi MacIver, one of our fearless leaders sent the DT instructions for making this cute little box to use as our 3D project (30 minutes) today! Well admittedly this took longer than 30 minutes and I'll let you imagine! Don't you just love the box and the flowers are simply beautiful. Again I can't seem to find the lady that posted a video on these since I cleaned my desk off, I can't find that scrap of paper with her name! So ANYONE please email me and let me know so I can give her proper credit. I have seen these used in many ways and they look real! Thanks to Sharon Field here is the link: Valita's Fresh Folds I used the new Designer Paper - Woodland Walk for the box. Whisper White was used for the flowers and shaded with Garden Green ink. I will post the link as soon as I find it for the directions. SOOOO hop on over to Carole' Anne's blog to check out the other Design Team entries. We have had severe storms in our area and our electricity has been off since day before yesterday so I was about 300 emails behind so hopefully will catch up today. Thanks for stopping by. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Daffodil Delight - Happy Together

Happy Together is a much neglected Stamp Set! It is really cute but I must admit this is the first time I have used it. I saw this card on Connie's Blog and had to make one. Simple and Sassy! I used the Texture plate brayered with Daffodil Delight ink for the background. Connie's was done in Expresso and I used Basic Black and a different flower. The 5 petal flower punch worked great for the flower and leaves. The jumbo white brad finished it off. Thanks Connie for the 'inkspiration!' Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'
