Notepad Book

This awesome notebook is made using the Stampin Up Clear Mount Stamp cases (119105). Credit goes to Patty Bennett for this little notebook. I added the little envelope for your business cards - the notebook has a pad and pen plus a calendar. Handy, dandy for car or purse! Too cute, thanks Patty!
I used Newsprint Designer Paper (117166) and Real Red cardstock. The front was 'invented' using My Design Studio! You know this would be a great little gift for someone going to college or high school! (stockin' stuffer) Lots of possibilities!
Until next time!

Another French Foliage

For a background starter, I used several of the acrylic blocks and inked them up and stamped them randomly all over the Very Vanilla Cardstock. Then I topped that off with an array of French Foliage (121166) leaves matted on More Mustard and backed with Soft Suede. I just love that set! The greeting could be birthday - good masculine card and many more! This greeting is from the Word Play Stampin' Up set (120651)

Out of the Box Technique

This is the Out of the Box technique. I used a nestability to cut the 'top note' shape around the flower and copics to color the flower. Concord Crush and Garden Green are the main colors I used on the cardstock.

Acrylic Blocks

Our acrylic blocks are not just for adhering your stamps! You can actually stamp with them. I used Block D loaded with Crumb Cake Classic Ink as the background for this French Foliage card! I used More Mustard, Crumb Cake & Cherry Cobbler cardstock with Happy Birthday greetings to finish this quick and easy card!

Elmo's Halloween

I found these Halloween pictures on my table and decided this would be a good take on the Creative Sketches 08 Challenge. It's a 12x12 layout of my grandson's Halloween. Of course he went as ELMO! His favorite Sesame Street character. Paper is Stampin' Up Tangerine, Daffodil, Real Red and Elmo is from the Cricut Cartridge! (5" cut)

Stamp A Holics Challenge 146

Mitzi brought us this 3D Challenge this week using the 3D Ornament Die. It's not just for Christmas ... I made a Halloween Ornament with it as well. It takes about 30 minutes to make this and you need 20 of the little scored circles. I have also made this putting the tabs inside rather than out; I have made this using pictures which makes a unique gift item. It's just a real fun die! Sorry the picture is not the greatest!
I used the DSP for the top and bottom and embossed with gold the middle row of circles on Always Artichoke and Cherry Cobbler.

Shimmer Butterfly

This card was made using Crushed Concord; More Mustard; Garden Green. For the butterfly, I used Shimmer White. I cut a piece a little bigger than the butterfly stamp (SU retired) lightly sprayed it with water then added Eggplant Envy reinker with my aqua painter around the edges then More Mustard reinker in the middle. Let this dry and stamp butterfly in the middle with Stazon then cut the butterfly out. I don't think you can see the Shimmer on scan but it is lots better IRL. A big Regal button accents the card! Hope you like it and if so, please leave your comment!
I used French Filigree background stamp (SU) on the More Mustard.
This is the same technique everyone uses on the punched pansies!

Hand Sanitizer Holder

I made this little hand sanitizer holder fashioned after ones I had seen made during Halloween. The little airplane is punched. My grandson had a pair of pj's that had a similar one on it that inspired me.
It was simple to make and makes a great little hand out gift for the office, Sunday School class, friends, etc! especially with winter colds on the way! I used Pacific Point and scraps from Celebrations DSP. I love that DSP especially for kids.
