Paper, Glorious Paper

This time of year is always seen with mixed emotions - lots of new stuff and surprises from Stampin' Up BUT we have to face the fact that some of our favorites are retiring.

This little Ghirardelli candy holder was made using the Sweet Shoppe Designer Paper (retiring) and added accents using the matching rub-ons! The idea was originally introduced by Sandi McIver. What a neat hostess gift, place setting, or just a 'little' something extra.

Made using only an 8 x 8 sheet of paper, fold in 1/2 diagonally; score sidesat 3 3/4 and 7 1/2; score in the middle and then 3/4" on both sides of that middle score and punch 3/4" and tie... no need for glue! Embellish as desireed.

Lets find ways to use up all the designer paper we have building up. Create a card, scrapbook page, project, or any other idea you may and use designer paper on it! We need to make room for the new stuff.

Come join our Challenge 173 this week, it's not too late.

Until next time!
