School Days

I decided I loved the embellishments from Treasure Box Designs so I am making a page like this for each grandchild! (different backgrounds). One reason you always get that 5 x 7 and you want to keep it so why not scrap it. I will put her picture back in the frame until next year’s picture but I have the page ready to go.

I will post the other two when I finish them. (BTW the scanner cut off the bottom of the apple)

Get Well

Here's a really quick and easy card. You can use it for any occasion. This one is for a Get Well Card. The card base is Whisper White with Rich Razzelberry Ink & mat.

I used the small and medium butterfly punch (both retired) with two tiny pearls for accent. The stamp set I used is Humming Along (retiring June 2). Easy, Peasy!

Dying Eggs!

Miss Josie dying eggs! She does such a good job.

I didn't put a title since it goes with the page I did yesterday. So Saffron is the base of the page with matching printed DSP cut on top. I used the slivers I cut off yesterday to make hanging banners. The doilies are the Pearl Doilies (retiring) and I used a bunny from the top of a cupcake. 

We all had a great Easter with family!

Fence

While trying to clean my room I found this fence that I had cute out using my friend's die. I think it's a Tim Holtz Die. Anyway, I colored it and made this card. I love the fence but I'm not sure I like the rest of it.

Gina K suggests that when you make a card with a new element, you should always make two because you learn so much on making the first one. I would love to do that today but I only had one fence.

My front grass is too tall and I should have chosen stamps that would show from behind. There are flowers but hard to see.

This little Piggy!

I am so glad that stamp set did not retire. It is so cute with the little pigs. I was not sure what color to use on them so I used Light Pumpkin Blends and Light Pink Blends.

The base is  Calypso Coral with a daisy print DSP (retired)! I used the basket weave on the mat and cut the circle with the Stitched Circle and added a few sequins for accent.

By the Bay...

This lovely By the Bay stamp was stamped using Memento Ink and then shaded with Lite Grey Blender all around. Then mounted on a black mat and a Black Strip Designer Paper. (retired)

All is mounted on a Gray Granite card base. I topped it off for accent with two strips of black/silver ribbon. I love the black and white combos and the muted image. Hope you like it.

Butterfly Bonanza

As you may know Marina Mist is retiring this year - Sad - I'll miss that color. So I made this card using the butterfly framelits in Navy and Soft Sky.

Will looking for something else I found this acetate sheet I had embossed with the Tulip Embossing Folder -years ago. Yes, you guessed it; I added to this card and now it shines. I really like the look.

Carrot Seeds

I have had this little seed packet printed for over 2 years and finally ran across it again. Thought I'd try and cute Easter card out of it.

The base is Only Orange (retired) and the mat is Garden Green! The seed packets were on the internet a long time ago so I printed a few and just ran across them again. I made the little carrot for the picture. Just a cute little card.

Triangle Stand Up Card

This was such a fun card to make and turned out great! It is a Triangle Stand Up Card. With different embellishments it could be masculine, baby, juvie, birthday, Get well and many occasions.

When it is closed but you can set it up and enjoy the pop up; there are two magnets holding the bottom together. You have room to write a note or add a sentiment. And it folds flat to mail in a regular A2 envelope.

Beautiful You

I used both our new colors - Gorgeous Grape & Highland Heather - What a great match! The stamp set is Beautiful You and was carried over to the new catalog coming out!

Soft Sky has the fussy cut image of our girl in the rain. The sentiment was punched from the ticket (retired) punch.

Geared Up Garage

All geared up to celebrate. Great Masculine card - Birthday, Father's Day, Thinking of You. The base is Tranquil Tide (retiring) with a Crushed Curry Mat. The printed paper is from the 6 x 6 Garage Paper Stack.

The gears are cut using the Gear Up Garage Framelits and I hand-cut the '57 Chevy from the paper stack and adhered with Dimensionals.

I trying to use more and more Designer Paper as I am getting run over with paper. I love it all but slowly I am running out of room.

As a great accent I lined the envelope!

Note Book

I made this using blank white copy paper cut to fit the 5 x 7 covers. I covered two 5 x 7 thick cardboard using Whisper White and then mats of old retired designer paper.

I used the Big Shot and cut a decorative edging from Rich Razzleberry. Using a Rubi-Coil machine I punched all the inside paper (about 1/2" high) and punched each cover and 'ROLLED" it together (spiral bound)! Would make a nice gift.

Blends Storage

Stampin Up has come out with some new storage units. I received my Blends Stackers yesterday and I Love, Love, Love it! The picture shows two which is enough to hold all the new stackers with room for a few more as they come out.

Masculine Card

Pacific Point is the base of this quick and simple card. Layers are Very Vanilla and Soft Suede.

The images are from High Tide and the sentiment from By the Bay stamped with Soft Suede Classic Ink.  Retired ribbon is the accent. I should have embossed the Pacific Point for a little step-up. Enjoy!

Multi-fold Card

This multi-fold card was made using Love What You Do Designer paper! The card base is Tranquil Tide with each section covered.

I fussy-cut the added flowers from the same designer paper. The mat for the sentiment is from the Pretty Kitty stamp set. It was a fun card to make and again it was all scraps! I threw in a few of the new sticky sequins for accent!

A Note Card

Another flat card. Just a note is stamped on the back of this 5 x 7 non-opening card. There's plenty of room to write a note on the backside and it has no sentiment. You could also make it a Birthday, Juvie or Congrats card.

The base is Very Vanilla with a Kraft envelope (5 x 7) I love the Pen Pal animal on the front!

Happy Spring

Happy Spring is the title of this card. It actually started out as a cover for a mini-album but ended up being an unusual card! Could be basically any occasion by changing the sentiment.

The base is a 5 x 7 light chipboard covered with White Cardstock then the top is directly on the top of the covered 5 x 7. I used the So Detailed Framelits for the two gate-fold-overs; tied them with a Pineapple Punch ribbon.

The sentiment is on dimensionals; stamped with Fabel Friends greeting and cut with the Stitched Label Framelits. This card does NOT open but you may write a message on the back!

Crayon Box

This rounded card box was too cute to pass up! I bought the pattern from Paper Chasers. It was fun to make and of course you make all your mistakes on the first one. The crayons could have been neater but I still love it.

I am going to make another one with more care! The crayons can be any color and it fits a regular A2 envelope for mailing!

Just a Scrappy Card...

Trying to clear my workspace, I found this piece of printed paper and the Calypso Coral cardstock. So I decided to make a quick card rather than toss the scrap!

Also found the Old Olive scraps too! I just hate to toss anything! The Coral was a bit shy of 5 1/2 so I mounted it on a 5.5 x 4.25 piece of Whisper White scrap!

Just a Note

I used Just Eleanor to die cut the flourish then drew the outline on the white portion of the card. Hand-cut the flourish line and attached the bottom half to the cardstock. Then I attached the top to the black cardstock.

It is all adhered to a Whisper White card base for your special note inside. I punched the black background for the sentiment and then punched it out with the scalloped oval (retired) attaching rhinestones for accent! Makes for a fancy note card!

Decorative Corner Card

The instructions for this card are located on Splitcoast Stampers tutorial page. I made this quickly just to try it out and plan to make more and more decorative. I first saw these on my good cyber friend, Regina's blog and had to make one.

This image was colored and laying on my table so I used it.  Depending on the decoration you can use this card for any occasion and it folds flat to send in a regular A2 envelope. Fun to make!

Easter Card

This is the first time I have used this set and it has lots of sentiments for Easter Cards. This set is His Grace.

I stamped on Very Vanilla and cut the top with one of the border framelits. Lavender ribbon was added for accent. The ribbon was FREE with a $50. for Sale A Brations! I mounted the mat on Dimensionals and stamped the envelope to match.
