Bunny Box

Fill with Easter surprises, candy or whatever for a the best Easter remembrance ever! This is an altered Prima Flower box. I made this for a friend but originally my dd sent me this in a care package when I was living with my terminal sister. It was filled with crafting goodies! It meant so much to me. The rabbit is cut from Cricut Doodlecharms & the eggs are oval Nestabilities and embossed with Cuttlebug embossed folders. Let me hear from you! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Dream A Little

This is a Level 2 Hostess Set and it is really nice. Has lots of flowers and such a cute bird. I used the old DS from the last catty but the card stock is Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze & Pirouette Pink. I finally used some of the SU buttons, ribbon is Kiwi Kiss satin. I would love to hear your comments. I think I should have stamped the leave stamp in Kiwi but after thoughts are always best! Another Top Note Box

This was made with SU Kraft paper and just fill with candy or any other treats! They are so simple and so cute. Measurements for the box are 5 1/2 x 4 3/4 for the bottom; 5 5/8 x 4 7/8 for the top. Score both sheets one inch around the edges and form the box and it is a perfect fit. Embellish as desired. I used one of the new Sale-A-Bration stamp sets. Another Man's Junk - Talk about recycling

My husband gives me such nice 'gifts'. This is an empty spool fishing line came on and I guess this is the ultimate recycling project! I filled the inside with buttons, eyelets, clips etc. then wound 1 - 2 yard various pieces of ribbon on the spool then embellished! Makes a really unique gift for a fellow crafter! Hope you enjoyed this one. Until my next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Rectangle Coaster Calendar

This was created using the rectangle coasters I got from Crafters Alley. They are oversized and great for projects. Yes I know I used discontinued paper but GOOD NEWS I ordered lots of NEW designer paper this week so hopefully soon I can get on the band wagon w/ some new papers! Notice the kitty paw in the background on summer. Callie was helping me today! It is done on two coasters with a piece of cardstock folded and glued onto each coaster. I used Red Castle to print the tiny calendar and embellished w/ cutouts, ribbon, etc. It's a great idea and could also work connecting it on the side as well. I saw a similar one 'somewhere' on the internet and did not mark it. It was made using the regular size coasters. Perfect for your desk or a gift for a friend! Leprechaun Top Note

This cutie was made using blush blossom cardstock and Big Shot's Top Note. The hat is 1/2 a top note and the beard is a sliver off a top note. Originally I saw one like this at Mary Jo Price-Williams, Technostamper but since have seen several versions. He's just a cute little fella. My daughter was born on St. Patty's day so this would be a great card for her! I used Garden Green for the hat & cut the buckle from chipboard and a Sizzix die then glittered. Hope you like him. Two Hearts

I made this quickly after my FIRST OPEN HOUSE today. It went rather well, not many people but we had a good time, stamping, talking, etc! Anyway this was made using the Argyle Cuttlebug background. I inked the raised side of the embossing folder with Certainly Celery and ran it thru the Big Shot then used Swiss Dots for the bottom half of the background. The hearts were stamped and cut out from the Much Love Stamp Set (SU). The base color is Pink Pirouette. It looks so soft IRL. PS I sold my second Big Shot today! I was sooooo excited and I know she will love it. Until next time, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Buzzin' by...

Aren't they the cutest bees you have ever seen? It is a new Stampin Up set called Just Buzzin' By and this is my first card I created using them and I LOVE 'EM. More Mustard is the card stock w/ a Basic Black mat. I used markers to color the bees & hive and then punched the bees out with the 1 1/4" punch. A touch of Real Red accents the card along with a strip of black grosgrain ribbon. I did use Spica Glittery pens on the bees which you can't see in the photo but it added just the right touch. BTW the bees are on dimensionals for that 3D effect. Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Voila'

This is the cutest little chef! I stamped his ooat and hat on SU paper that was a Hostess Set last catalog and cut it out. It was also the first time I used Copics for flesh and I really, really like them! After coloring the wine, cheese & grapes I coated the bottle w/ Crystal Effects and the grapes with the Spica Markers; his buttons were also 'spiced' up with the glittery markers. Not Quite Navy & Bordering Blue are the two cardstocks used. Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Quick Oval Flower

I was making a story board display last night for my first Open House this Saturday and needed one more card to finish it up so I made this one really quickly. Sorry it is a little blurry. I used retired Designer Paper but the flower was stamped using a Sale-A-Bration set coming out February 1 colored with Pumpkin Pie SU Marker. I punched it out w/ the large oval SU punch and used the Cuttlebug for the scallop oval. I had to work today so have not had much time but hope to make some cards tomorrow! Until my next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Memory Box

I made is little box a long time ago and just wanted to revive it. It is approximately 4 x 4 square and the top, spine and bottom are all one piece and folds over the box and can be tied together with the chocolate chip ribbon. Just a 'stuff' box and it is older Stampin' Up designer paper and the embellishments were in my stash. Thanks for stopping by. Until next time, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Pop Up Card & Candy Holder

I ran across this old, old Stampin' Up paper and made these for you! It is a popup card and when folded fits a 5.5x5.5 envelope. The candy holder is just the right size to hold the small candy bars, bite-size I think is what they are called. It is made using 3"x12" cardstock, covered with designer paper. Scored at 1", 1 1/2" (on this fold you use the word punch for the opening), 4", 4 1/2", 8 1/2" and 9"; fold accordingly looking at the picture. I added a piece of ribbon for a handle and a velcro dot to hold it shut. Felt flowers are used for accent! Would be great for Valentine's, Easter treat or just any occasion! I have been without Internet for the last 4 days (don't ya just love Ntelos) and I am so glad to be back! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Russell Stover!

Now that I have taken the pictures I can eat the CANDY! This little box was made using the Big Shot Top Note Die and Not Quite Navy cardstock. The printed paper was from the Hostess 6x6 papers. I just measured the box and added 1" all the way around for the bottom and added 1/8" and 1" all the way around for the top. Accented it with Bravo Burgundy. Great small remembrance Valentine for someone special. Until next time, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Top Note Gift Box

I am sorry I haven't posted in a few days but LIFE got in the way, like cooking, cleaning, work, etc! I used the Top Note Die for the top and bottom; made a little box measuring 2 3/4 x 4 and glued a Top Note to the top and bottom. You can fill with candy or any small gift. The oval hole in the box was done with the medium oval punch and could be a heart for Valentines. It is backed with a small piece of acetate. The Designer Paper is discontinued but I love it! Thanks for stopping by... Until next time, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

I did this Chickadee scene using Prisma Colored pencils. I just love all the colors. The pattern is by Janelle Johnson, CDA, TDA. She sells her patterns on her website and has great instructions even for the novice like me. I keep practicing. Thanks for looking. Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Masculine Valentine

I used the Love You Much stamp set and the Candy Lane Stampin' Up Designer Paper. The Chocolate Chip ribbon was added for accent. I embossed the hearts with Coffee Jelly Embossing Powder from Crafters Alley so when you open the envelope you get a whiff of that fresh cup of coffee! I shaded the hearts with Riding Hood Red & a little pink ink. Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Heart Box

This was cut using Design Studio by Cricut & Cricut Expression (12x24 paper). The Stampin Up Love You Much set was the inspiration. I used Lovely Lilac Ink getting away from the 'standard' Valentine colors and cut the heart in half to accent the top - filled with candy hearts. What a great remembrance gift for that someone special! The box measures 3.5x3.5! Thanks for stopping by. Until next time, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Valentine Treat Boxes

These little goodie boxes are filled with 6 Hershey Nuggets and a great little gift for your special friends! I used the Big Shot box die cut, put acetate in the window and used the Love You Much stamp set to embellish them. Great little gift to let someone know you 'remembered' them at Valentines Day. There's room to write a special note on the top inside of the box. Thanks for stopping by. Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Valentine Love You Much

A quick Valentine remembrance. Great for kids at school or just to give a friend. I used the Love You Much Bundle which is being offered this month for 20% off (Item # 115405). You get paper, punch & stamp set! Check it out on my SU website! The base of the card is Riding Hood Red, the printed paper Candy Lane and the Top Note (SU Big Shot). I found the heart shaped lollipops at Walmart. Just a fun thing to make! Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

New Adventures

Well I wanted to try my luck at colored pencils and this is my first attempt. I was very pleased at the result but only thanks to Janelle Johnson, CDA, TDA and her concise instruction and great video! I am going to frame him (her)! This gave me alot of insight in using the Stampin' Up pencils as well. So I am hoping to create some great new cards in '09! TO ALL - Happy New Year and keep on crafting! Explore all avenues and just enjoy yourself! Until my next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy
