Golfing

Looking thru some of my old patterns, I found this neat golf bag and much to my dismay I don't know where it came from, so if it's yours - THANK YOU and let me know and I'll link to you. This is an Almost Amethest (retiring) golf bag and the inside of the card is blank. I thought maybe a birthday, anniversary, congrats and if you use masculine colors GREAT Father's Day card. This card is 4 x 9.5 and fits a No. 10 envelope. I lined the inside of the envelope to match the card. Thanks for stopping by and have a safe & happy Memorial Day! Until next time! S'mores... anyone?

I have seen this before on other blogs but can't remember where or who... so if you want credit, please email me and I will link to you. This was made to fit the 3 1/2 x 6 3/4 Small Open End Envelope from Stampin' Up and it is mailable... Chocolate Chip is the base, then Whisper white and next Creamy Caramel. I ran the 'graham cracker' thru the Big Shot using the square lattice emb. folder and then I ran it thru using the dot embossing folder which made the perfect impressions! The s'mores is from Under the Stars (retired-oops, I was wrong it is NOT retiring) and the words are computer generated. It is just a cute card. TIP: don't try to punch a three papers for the bite, the scallop circle will only punch one at a time. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

My Digital Studio

With this GREAT Designer Paper download for your My Digital Studio, it is so easy to create fasy and beauiful cards. HP loves it (ink sales have skyrocketed LOL) Anyway, these were made on one sheet (cut into quarters) VOILA! 4 gorgeous cards. Patty Bennett has a super tutorial on how to create 4 fronts on one 8.5 x 11 sheet on her blog. I like some dimension but it is not necessary. After printing these I did go back to my file (which gratefully I can keep forever) and punched it up with some digital embellishments. On these cards I did add ribbon for Father's Day and buttons on the Thank you card. The nice thing is you can save your creations and use them over and over and edit, change and explore without ruining lots of papers. I also tried to use up some of my retiring papers! Hope you like these. Oh one other great feature besides quick and easy, these can be mailed without additional postage if you use MDS to add the embellishments! Another thing, I use the Export to JPG and then go to MS Word and open a new document with 0 (zero) margins so it prints with very little edging. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Stamp A Holics Challenge 124

This challenge is brought to you by Cynthia Stevenson, a Sketch Challenge - 10 minute card. Well it took a few minutes longer, but not much so I'm getting better for this card. Hopefully everyone gets the meaning of start to finish - journey! by the bikes. Anyway I used the Pedaling Past (120060 - 14.95) Stamp Set which is really cool! and the Travel Journal Designer Paper (117156 - $ 9.95) Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and Night of Navy. Happy to say those two colors are staying and won't retire from the Stampin' Up array of colors. I will link this post to Mr. Linky tomorrow AM when Carole' Anne posts the Challenge on her website. Now lets see what you can do, come play along. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Two cards

Here are two cards; same ingredients but different looks! The cardstock is Cameo Coral (retiring), Bashful Blue & Certainly Celery. Amazing how this works. I used the stampset Elements of Style (120045 - 19.95); isn't it gorgeous and very, very vintage. I distressed the edges; used the oval scallop and square scallop punch. I reversed stamped the bird on one card and tied them both off with Bashful Blue Taffeta ribbon. Hope you like them. PS I used the dauber to color the flowers after applying ink to the edges and it worked great - not too 'colored' but just enough! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

'Croak'...

I wanted to try punches on the thin sponge rubber for the LCS and it works! so I made this little frog and printed the saying on Whisper White and matted for the card. I found a Happy Birthday already cut out in my Cricut drawer so I put that inside. Most of this card was made from scraps but is really cute especially for a masculine card. Until next time! Two Shares

Amy Celona shared this neat Tag Treat Holder. It is a great way to use the Stampin' Up Two Tags Die (115954 - $ 21.95) Picture this using Halloween Designer Paper, Christmas DSP... what a world of possibilities! Great remembrance hand-out. Another scrapbook page of my darling grandson sitting on Grandpa's boat. His Dad and Grandpa can't wait to take him fishing. He is a little small right now! LOL I used SU CS Handsome Hunter & Green Galore (both retiring). The charms I purchased long time ago and found them in my stash. I also broke my Stampin' Up Double Rectangle punch making the film strip but it has been well used (believe me) so ... ahhhh I can feel another order coming on! Have a great stampin' day! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Cheep, Cheep

Bunny ears! My grandson and his sister playing with bunny ears. His little outfit says 'Cheep, Cheep' with a little chicken face. I made the little chicken in the corner and it opens up for journaling! Ballet Blue is the base and backed with Summer Sun (both retiring) You can't see the edge in the scan but it is there! The little bunny ears were cut from the Sizzlits Die in the Occasions Mini Catalog 117327 Beary Hoppy! Until next time!Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Tackle Box & Vest

What a fantastic idea for that fisherman in your life! This cute little tackle box can be filled with lures, gummy worms, candy, etc. along with the little vest card is great for Father's Day, Birthday, any occasion gift! The pattern is purchased from Lynn Pratt and is very detailed and easy to follow. Check out her blog for more of her unique paper patterns. Her pictures are alot better too! I purchased it a long time ago and decided it was time to do some 3D thing and try it out. I used Close to Cocoa which is retiring in July so I saved enough to make another when the time comes. My hubby and son both fish so... two gifts!!! Plan ahead LOL. I may try and alter the design to make some 'girly' gifts. Maybe a make-up case, jewelry box... hummmm Thanks for stopping by! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

New Sets

Mr. Brown (UPS) came early today so I had a chance to play with my new stamp sets from the Mini-Catalog. I used MDS to make the background for these two cards; Vintage Overlays and Presto Patterns. The first card is the Motorcycle on page 31 of the mini - 117657 - $8.95. Both cards have the words from In A Word Page 10 120057 - $9.95. There are so many neat stamps in the mini and can't wait till the new catty comes out! Anyway I used a piece of black shiney paper from a retired DSP but the white is from the Bridal Assortment in the big catty. I saw the idea for the hearts on another blog and I can't remember which one so I someone knows, let me know and I'll link to it. Different affects are made using different ribbons; Narrow grosgrain on the Wedding card and wide stripped on the Journey card. This is the first time I have used a brad around ribbon and the prongs did not break. LOL I am quitting for tonight! Been a busy crafting day... It's getting to be popcorn and Pepsi time and it the weather is rainy and in the 50's. Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Play Ba.a.a.all

Well again featuring my grandson, Jacob in his Baseball Uniform! He just screams PLAY BALL! I used a Real Red 12x12 and stamped it with Just Baseball Stampin' Up stamp set in White Craft Ink. I cut out some balls, bats and hats and used Dimensionals to randomly place them on the page. The words are from the Athletic Department Stamp Brush Set using MDS (My Design Studio). I backed the pictures in Whisper White Cardstock. Hope you like it. One way or the other I am going to use MDS more and more! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

New My Digital Studio (MDS) Designer Paper

The new download for MDS Designer Paper is correctly named 'Summertime Splendor'. The sheets are so soft and look like beautiful watercolors and they are suitable for framing! I printed this sheet and made this card with Brilliant Blue and Gable Green. I used a piece for the inside and stamped with a birthday sentiment (retired). If you have not purchased the MDS this should sway you in the right direction! I must admit I have not used or played with this program but it is so easy and if you don't have the program you can still use the downloads in lots of drawing programs. Until next time! Double 'trouble'

I have two ladies that have nurses in their family so two can be made as easily as one! Aren't they the cutest things and of course Ellen Kemper, the Punchie Queen, is the creator! You can find the details on her blog - CLICK HERE! I love all her punchies - not enough hours in the day to do all the crafts! Anyway I hope you like this card and what a great graduation card for the nurse in your life! OR how great this would look on a scrapbook page! Thanks for stopping by. Until next time!Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

SAH Challenge 122

Oops... I forgot the images, hope I was quick enough! I posted this today before I change my mind. This week's challenge was just to make SOMETHING 3D. This took approximately 45 minutes to complete. Great gift for the movie buff - any 2 litter bottle of soda and popcorn for snack! The envelope on the side (Big Shot Envelope) has a $10. Blockbuster gift card! Simple, Easy & very useful! This works for any occasion and for any age group. Island Oasis is the new Designer Paper in the Mini-catalog (117173 - $9.95) combined with Tropical Party Stamp Set (120081 - $13.95). The little tickets were made from the Level II Hostess Set Admit It. Intermission was cut using the Billboard Die (114510 - $21.95) and adhered to the Top Note Die (113463 - $21.95). I punched around the Mtn. Dew Belly Band with the Eyelet Border Punch (113692 - $15.95) Head on over to Carole' Anne's blog and check out the other posts for this challenge (Friday AM). Until next time!Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

When Life Gives You Lemons...

We gave Jacob a lemon slice and can you tell, he did NOT like it very much! What a face? Summer Sun is the BG with Garden Green matting. I used Tart & Tangy for the lemon slices and you can't see on the scan I spritzed them with the new SU Smooch. Just a fun page! Until next time!Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Bath Time

I have never seen such a big Rubber Ducky. My grandson, Jacob, sure loves it! I used Bashful Blue for the page, matted pictures with Only Orange, Summer Sun (retiring). The bubbles & water drops were cut with the Big Shot and a Sizzix Die from cardstock vellum rubbed with Bashful Blue and then spritzed with the new SU Smooch spray. They look much better in real life. The pins are for accent on a Full Heart Punch w/ a mat made using the Movers & Shapers Heart die. Until next time!Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

SAH #121 - Inspiration

I must admit this was a real challenge... so many colors but what a great way to step outside your comfort zone. We had to create using this inspiration. I decided to scrap my granddaughter's picture using some of the colors. She is so photogenic. Brilliant blue is the background; the picture is matted with Bermuda Bay, Barely Banana & Pink Pirouette. I made little buds for the lattice work (Kraft CS-retiring). The shasta daisies were perfect for an accent along with the swirl from one of the SU sizzix's dies. The letters were cut from Bashful Blue designer paper. I hope you like it and I did finally find a 'Mr. Nasty' but I was so wrapped up in putting the page together, I forgot to set him! It took approximately 30 minutes to put the page together and 5 days to think about it. LOL I am trying to do better, be patient. Head on over to Carole' Anne's blog and check out the other posts for this challenge. Until next time!Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Fishy Friend

This was totally CASE'd from Kay Kalthoff. What a great kid's card! Kay used the Whimsy Wheel for the background but I didn't have it so I used French Filigree Background Stamp 113742 and I used Tiny Tags 118592 for the sentiment. Colors are Brilliant Blue (retiring), Ballet Blue (retiring) and Bashful Blue. The little fish is made from the Ornament Punch (which is still available), Scallop Square Punch, 1/2" Circle, 3/4" Circle and 1" Circle. The Circles are on Dimensionals as well as the fish. Easy Peasy and lots of Fun. This will also be one of our monthly Stamp-A-Stack cards for May. Until next time!Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Gift in a Bottle

I made this for my DIL's birthday. Don't worry she does not read my blog! It has candles and a gift certificate. I used retired SU paper (groovy guava) and an empty 2 liter Coke bottle. You cut the bottle in 1/2 around the middle where the label was. I leave about 1" I don't cut so it flips open and you can match it back up nicely. Fill with gifts and tape with packing tape then decorate with a belly band. I also used Alcohol to remove any writing on the bottle. Looks alot better in real life! Love this way to package and what a conversation piece. Quick, easy and fun! PS I added a few retired stamps to my online sale blog. Check it out. Until next time!Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'
