Monday - another week...

Good Morning - Today is our babysitting day! We keep our 4 year old grandson on Monday's so my crafting is limited.

I found the top to this card on my table and decided to finally finish it up.

The record card was spotted on a blog (can't remember where) and I decided to make one since I only had one of the decorative bags left from the SU kit. It is so cute to pass up and I do plan on making more. The record has a circle on the back and opens up for the greeting.

Have a great day!

Until next time!

This week...

As my ole doctor would say...this week life got in the way. I wanted to post something but I have been busy with my hubby. He has been sick so we have played caretaker this week.

I did however make a few scrapbook pages and a few things so I wanted to post them today as a group.
I made this block card after seeing it on Tanya Bell's blog. She is such a talented lady! It is 4 1/2 x 6 so the new SU envelope punch was my answer to an envelope. I printed the envelope paper using MDS to match the B&W theme. (non-SU paper)
This cute little box for your cards was also made using the Envelope Punch from SU. It will hold 4 cards & envelopes embellished and up to 8 cards non-embellished. We're going to make this at the next stamp club meeting.

FALL - is the layout we'll be making at the next Scrapbook class. Jake had a play date at Yoders' Farm. They had such a good time! I used my Silhouette to cut the tree, words & leaves. The squirrel was done with SU punches and was one of the figures in my last punchie class.

Jake and his dad went fishing at the Moose Lodge pond a few weeks ago. Jake loves to fish and especially with his dad. I have been trying to use my 'stash' and I found this among my scrapbook supplies. Worked for me!

Until next time!

Challenge 232 - Bling it UP!

Challenge 232

Our challenge these two weeks is to use BLING - BLING IT UP! I'm really not a bling person but it does add so much to a card! Use pearls or rhinestones to add zest to your card or scrapbook page!

I added pearls to the middle of my flowers and colored them to match the accent paper and the lace doily adds just the right touch!

Need some inspiration, check out the Design Team HERE

Come play along and add your card HERE

Challenge 231

Our challenge these two weeks is to make something for a teacher - small gift! Very fitting since school is now in full swing. I choose a clip/note board to hang by the teacher's desk for small notes and reminders!
The Designer Paper is retired BUT you can still utilize it by going to My Digital Studio!

Check out  our Design Team here for some inspiration.

Please show us your own project and upload it here.

Baby Josie

I have been neglectful about making scrapbook pages so I took some time out this week and made these two for my beautiful granddaughter, Josie! She is now 5 months old and my how time does fly!

You can tell by these pictures these are her first foods and BTW she HATES green peas! (not pictured)!

These are 8 x 8. I must admit I like the 12 x 12 better so that will be my next project when this book is full. Have a great day and let's get scrappin!

Until next time!

Great Anniversary card! and I love the combination of the Smokey Slate and Crushed Curry. Plus that is one of my favorite new stamp sets, Perfect Blend.

Technique Junkies CD 11 Blog Hop

Good Morning Bloggers!

The TJ Design Team is here to roll out the Technique Junkies CD-11, a compilation CD of all of the tutorials from the October 2012 through August 2013 issues.  We are so excited to have you join us.

You should have arrived here from Tricia O’Bin ‘s blog.  Isn’t she amazing! Be sure to check out her blog especially her creative vintage stamping!

To start at the beginning go to the Design Team website by CLICKING HERE.

The CD includes 10 bonus techniques that are only found on the CD. All of the tutorials are in PDF format, so they print perfectly on regular paper, for both PCs and Macs. With the bonus tutorials, there are 100 tutorials on this CD!

It is available for order TODAY by CLICKING HERE!  The CD will be shipped in less than 2 weeks!

New on this CD...
This CD contains a pictorial index that you can print out -- each of the 100 tutorials on the CD are represented with pictures in the index. It has been designed to make it easier than ever to find a tutorial on the CD.

Here is my project using the Paper Flower Sphere Ornament technique. It's so easy to assemble. The template is included so I used my Silhouette to cut the circles. By using the cutting machine you can vary the size of the sphere. Now just decorate as desired. What about lots of small ones to decorate your tree? Ideas abound. If you would like to see a pictorial of CD 11 - CLICK HERE!

I made this smaller version and added a few pearls for interest. The one thing I love about this project - NO GLUE! Like I said easy, peasy!

Your next stop is the very talented Beth Norman's blog. Be sure and browse her blog for some great inspiration.

A Gift for You

Using one of the new single stamps, I created this little gift box holder. Recognize the container? Yep, one of the brad or button containers (recycle)! Sorry the top picture is blurred but gives you a better view of the container! Makes a nice little gift for the ones you want to remember at Christmas or how about making this for a Halloween treat.

The Label Bracket 132153 punch fits the sentiment from the single stamp (134765). Pool Party CS for the box itself with Winter Frost DSP 132341 accents. I used the Snowflake Bundle 133285 for the decoration accented with a Frosted Finishes Embellishment 132150.
