Ribbon Challenge

I know, I know it has been such a long time since I posted but working full time has really taken a bite out of my crafting. I made this for the Ribbon Challenge over at Late Night Stampers (which was two weeks ago)

I will try and do better and hopefully next week I will get some relief. BTW my friends are still not doing well just keep them in your prayers.

PS I did make some new cards for the new Technique Junkie Newsletter that is coming in June so I will be able to post them then. It is great CD and some really neat techniques! Can't wait!

Until next time!

Challenge 245 - Spring

Yellow is always a 'happy, spring-y' color! This card features Crushed Curry Background. The sprig of flowers are from the Happy Watercolor set. Don't you love that set?

The card is accented by Candy Dots and a strip of Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon. The mat was designed and cut with Silhouette! Come Play Along with this week's Challenge 245.
Need more inspiration?  The LNS blog is teeming with DT spring goodness.  Hop on over and see our samples at Late Night Stampers Blog.

While you are there, check out the rules for participating in the challenges.  You have until tomorrow evening to play along with us and link your Spring has Sprung creation.  We look forward to see what you create.

Until next time!

Today is the first time I have even entered my craft room. Sorry I have been MIA lately but I am helping my friend's son run a business and it has been 20 years since I worked there. Catching up has been quite a challenge and after retiring, I am not used to full time plus I have two other jobs! Keep them in your prayers, she is still in a coma and it has been almost a month now.

Until next time!

Another Hat...

I was saving this till Christmas time BUT we have had sooooo much snow lately I couldn't resist. This is my version of a Snowman's Hat filled with goodies.

I have been MIA lately. As a few of you know, my dear, dear friends ran a mom & pop business locally and they were both hurt badly in a motorcycle accident. She is still in a coma and he is in rehab and probably will be for at least a month. I have been working to help their son keep the business up and running while they are away plus my other 'two' jobs! We continue to keep them in our prayers.

We recently celebrated our grand daughter's first birthday! She is reading all the magazines!

Until next time!

Woo-Hoo Owl Card & Gift Box

Tanya Bell over at Stamping T brings us this cute project! She always amazes me and is a close cyber friend!

What a cute Gift Box, Notebook and Card to give with your gift at your next Baby Shower Party. This sweet little owl will warm the heart of any owl lover.  The coordinating card and gift box are both easy to make and feature some of the lovely Framelits sets from Stampin’ up!

The new Mother To Be will just love the pastel tones and having a gorgeous box (once gift is removed) to save all her Baby Shower Cards and Tags, not to mention a handy notebook for her handbag / nappy bag, to record all of Baby’s first’s that often occur when you are out and about.

Be sure and subscribe to March over at Craft Project Central and get your tutorial TODAY!

Until next time!
