4 oz. Cup Creation

After seeing Becky Roberts' 4 oz. Christmas cups, I ordered some and they finally came today. Too late for Christmas but lots of other uses. I had so much fun creating this little gift. You can fill the cups with anything and they make a wonderful gift. Oh I used the twine from the NEW Occasions Mini available January 3. I lined the straws with matching DSP.

CLICK HERE to get the instructions for the carrier and place to order!

I made the one below with a cut from Silhouette. Same idea just no lids but it did make a great gift for the newspaper carrier. I filled the cups with Twizzlers and a candy cane and placed it all in a gusseted cello bag (by the way, SU has them on sale in the Clearance Rack section). Look for more of these to come.

Too cute not to try!

Until next time!

After surfing thru Pinterest, I found this great website FULL of punchies - Alex's Creative Corner! She is fantastic so I had to CASE several of her cards. I know these are a bit late or a lot early BUT they were too good to pass up.

All are SU punches except the 'sprigs' around the candle but hers were done with the leaves from the Build a Bird punch but I wanted to try my new MS Sprig punch. Enjoy!

Christmas Layout

Scrapbook pages for the Scrap Club in January! The Santa cut out is from my e-cutter (Silhouette). I thought everyone could use a Christmas layout to start off the new year.

Plenty of room for pictures and journaling!

Sneak Peek

Been kinda MIA but very busy as I am sure most everyone was too! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas with friends and family. I know we did. My grandson was 4 this year and he was really 'into' it!

This is a sneak peek of a stamp from the new Occasions Mini Catalog for the new year! It is the Hardwood background stamp 133035. Is it not gorgeous! Love it! Makes a good masculine card, great for Father's Day.

I also used Perfect Pennants 133230 for the sentiment backed by a piece of the Burlap Ribbon 132140 and the great standby - Lovely as a Tree 127793 as a focal point accented with three Candy Dots.

Have a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Until next time!

Elf Donuts

I had to try my hand at Elf Donuts! They are cute BUT sticky! I used the retired matchbox die from Stampin' Up for the box and lined it with wax paper. My grandson has an Elf on the Shelf so I will take them to him Christmas.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas Gift

These are too cute. I was inspired by Becky Roberts (very talented lady) from Inkin' Idaho. BUT the place you order the 4 oz cups were OUT so they are on back order. I used my Silhouette to cut a 4 oz cup which I lined with acetate to show the candy. I used candy canes for straws and filled the cups with Twizzlers.

It is so cute with the little holder and makes a wonderful gift. The snowman on the front was made using the Oval Framelits and Oval punches. Paper is a retired SU Scrappin' Kit. The tag was made using the two trees cut from the cups. WOW what a neat gift! Thanks Becky for such a great project. I do have the cups on back order so will make one for Valentine's Day.

Until next time!

Little Trucks

Several years ago a truck pattern was posted for the 'man in brown' by Sue Berker. I saved it and imported it into my Silhouette and made these two little trucks, one for my UPS man and one for my Mailman! I did make another UPS one since at Christmas he always has a helper.

I filled a small cello bag with goodies and put it inside. Hope they all enjoy it. They are such fun to make.

Recycle Snowman

Time to recycle! This was made from a liquid Creamora bottle. Too cute. Don't you love things you can reuse? I do.
I don't do cream in my coffee so I had to 'swipe' this from work. Great decoration! Start saving those bottles.

Envelope Brag Book

I made this Christmas Brag Book using 3 invitation size envelopes (A6). It makes a great gift item as well as for your personal use. There is plenty of room for journaling and pictures and even use the pockets for momentos!

This is also a great way to use the Winter Frost (132183) Designer Series Paper Stack - from Stampin' Up. They are the best investment you can make at only $6.95!

Soccer, anyone?

This was our Scrapbook page for the month of December! I know but it was requested. The soccer ball was created using the Stampin' Up Hexagon punch. Give it a try.

I think every kid has played Soccer at one time or another. Colors: Always Artichoke & Pumpkin Pie. I cut the 'field' design using my Silhouette.

Modge, Podge Day

Another etc... post. A few more things I have worked on this week.

One thing I am still not sure about is Deco Mesh! My friend took a class and my DD & DIL saw a wreath and I tried to replicate it. This is what I came up with but NO embellishments yet. When I get that done, I will re-post. It is quite an experience working with Deco Mesh.

I think it would make a great Easter wreath. I tried the Candy Cane one and it needs some 'help' too. Will share when all finished.

The following candy cane card was a true CASE originally posted by my cyber friend and very talented ,
Jamie Albanese at Gettin Crafty Stampin.

This card I saw a similar one on Pinterest so no reference to original but was fun to create!

Have a great day stampin'

Today I have a few things I was working on and thought I'd share. Most are from looking through Pinterest. That place is addictive.

First is a Ninja turtle card. My grandson was a Ninja turtle for Halloween and he will love this card.

Next is an ornament I made using scraps of Designer Paper! (curl and stuff)

Next is the last Peppermint Plate I made using a lined 9" round cake pan. Line it with Parchment paper and bake at 250 degrees until melted! Great conversation piece. You can serve cookies, candy, etc on it and not to worry about getting it back.

Last but not least, I stamped these two SU muslin bags. I need to practice that one. They weren't as dark as I would have liked but they do make neat little gift bags.

Enjoy your day. Here in central Virginia it is going to be warm and sunny!

Challenge 237 - Non-Christmas Colors

Challenge 237 - NO Red or Green!

This week's challenge is a mind boggler! Make a card, scrapbook page, 3D object using NON-traditional Christmas colors! No Red or Green...

I choose Eggplant Envy to make this card and added side bars using the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set. I used the Hostess Set Warmth & Wonder (131883). I love that set and must have since I ordered it TWICE!

Now it's your turn -

Donut Seeds

What a gift! I was cleaning (yes, cleaning) out a drawer and found these I had for YEARS. So I up-scaled it and came up with this for your Donut Seeds! It was just too cute to pass up!

Just a fun thing to do! Now time to get to work...
