Happy Mother's Day

Made this quick card using the Soft Summer (dogwood) - two step stamping. We will probably make this card for our next card club meeting. I used Designer papr from SAB, certainly celery, so saffron & pink pirouette cardstock. Ribbon is from SAB as well. Love the twill ribbon and a great size! My dd had my Mother's Day stamp so I just used a computer font and made my own. Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Mary Jo's Monday Challenge #63

For Mary Jo Price-Williams Monday Challenge, I made this card using Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss & Piroquett Pink Cardstock. I added the three buttons across the top for accent. Great Note Card. Until Next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Baby Easter Basket

A cyber friend of mine sent me the pattern for this cute little basket which was on Splitcoast (click here). It is quick and easy and great treat basket for a child's class or party. Easy to make and just a few materials. Hope you like it. Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Easter

We made this Easter card at a recent Stamp A Stack. The little chicken is so cute plus I ordered this really wide ribbon and have yet to find a use for it! I love the Good Egg set. The square was made using a 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 square and centering the scallop punch on each side. The new lace punch (SU) can be done this way on a 3 x 3 square. Hope you like it. The printed paper is from Tea Party Designer Paper. Until next time, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Matchbox

What a great new die from Stampin' Up? You get the box AND 3 different shaped labels! They are so cute. I made this using To the Nines Designer Paper. Very versatile die for anyone. A must have! Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Dogwoods

Dogwoods are our state flower and I love them. I used Pretty in Pink to color the blossoms and accented the card with Certainly Celery & So Saffron twill ribbon. This was quick & easy and a nice looking note card. Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Copic Flower

Playing with my Copics again. I would really love to get the hang of them but you just have to practice. Hope you like it. I do have to get some more detailed stamps. I used Opal Opulence, Garden Green & Whisper White cardstock and the SU lace scallop punch down the edge. Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Elegant

This elegant card was cased and I can't find the ladies name but it was gorgeous and very elegant. The paper is from the Textiles Stampin' Up and has white satin strips thru it. You can't really tell from the picture which does not give it justice. I used the tag from the matchbox die for the sentiment. Basic Black cardstock for the card (4 1/4x5 1/2). Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

On My Mind

This card was made using one of the Sale-A-Brations sets which ends March 31 so better hurry with those orders! Sorry the picture is a little blurry - camera needs recharging. I love that little flower set! I fashioned this card after the sample in the catalog. Thanks for stopping by. Until next post Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Another Mini Caddy

This is done using 2 of the Big Shot Boxes glued together and a folded insert for the handle. I used the Walk in the Park new designer paper in the Spring Mini (available April 1). The caddy holds 6 gift note cards. Also a great gift item for someone is always in need of a gift enclosure card. Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Thinking of You

I used the Big Shot and cut the big butterfly from chipboard. Yes you only get 1/2 but you just run it thru and turn it over, line it up and run thru again and get the full butterfly. I used Bella Rose Designer Paper for the top note and top butterfly and put 3 little pearls down the back! Nice Note Card. Until next post Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Monday's Lunchtime Sketch Challenge

I have never entered any of the Challenge's but thought 'Gotta be a first time' so here it is. This is for Mary Jo Price-Williams Challenge #62. This card was created using Urban Garden Designer Paper; Kiwi Kiss; Baja Breeze; Night of Navy. I used the stamp set from the Level I hostess set, Dear Friend for the flowers and words; the 1 1/4" punch & 1 3/8" punch & Word Punch. This was a quick and easy card accented with Baja Breeze double stitched ribbon. I hope you like it. TFL Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Another Zindorf Knock-off

This is a smaller version of Michelle's Mellow Lake. I used the Lovely as a Tree stamp set; brocade blue; going gray ink. This card consists of brayering & sponging ink. It would make a great sympathy card. Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Altered Die

This box was made using the ends from the Big Shot Die (basket) and I used an 8 1/2 sheet of cardstock (Sahara Sand) and scored all the way around at 2 3/4; tilted the sides and glued the ends from the die cut. I used the DSP from Sale-A-Brations; punched and cut the front flower. Won't that be great filled with Easter candy or a small gift. I saw a similar basket on someone's blog and can't remember where (sorry). Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Gift Cards & Caddy

I made this cute little caddy which holds 6 gift cards by gluing 2 of the Big Shots Box die cuts together and adding a handle. The handle is cut 3 3/8 x 11 folded in the middle and glued down the middle of the box. I used Cameo Coral for the box; Basic Gray and Walk in the Park designer paper. It will be coming out in the April 1 Mini catalog. The gift cards measure 3 1/2 x 3 1/2. This would also make a cute gift box filled with candy or anything; makes a nice little remembrance gift. Oh BTW those dies are heavy. I dropped it on my toe and broke it so be careful! Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Brayering Technique

This is the famous Zindorf Brayering Technique I used on these two cards. I have the pleasure of hosting a Zindorf Workshop in August and I am so excited to learn from the best! For more information please check her schedule on her blog: CLICK HERE for the schedule & details - August 14 & 15. I used all SU products to make these cards and just love the way the brayer makes the ink flow. It is actually more like art than just stamping! Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Sense of Time

I made this quick card using the new SU stamp Set Sense of Time which will be available for purchase from the Occasions mini catalog coming out April 1. I used Baja Breeze ribbon and the new SU Walk in the Park designer paper. It was quick and easy but a great note card. I stamped a matching envelope & colored a brad with Copic Black for the center of the clock. The card stock is Baja Breeze & Basic Gray. Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Backwoods

Using the Backwoods stamp set I made this note card on More Mustard cardstock matted with Basic Black. I did however since taking this picture straighten the first brad. (they always look straight till you're all done LOL) I used SU markers to color the trees and copics to color the cabin. The backgound was brayered using More Mustard & Really rust. It makes a pretty scene. Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

So 'Tweet

This is using a bird from the chipboard die cuts from Stampin' Up. I used Good Morning Sunshine designer paper to cover this 'tweet' bird & Pacific Blue and So Saffron cardstock. The card fits a 5x5 envelope. (It's a BIG bird) The bird also comes in stamp form - Good Friend Stamp Set. Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Inspiration

Just to show you can get inspiration for anything, I made this card using the front of a Tahoe cigarette pack! Saw the pack and thought 'beautiful' card! I used So Saffron for the sky and black for the rest of the card and I wanted to keep it simple so no ribbon but added the eyelets for accent. So keep an eye out for 'any inspiration'! Father's Day

This flip card was in the Stampin' Success magazine but was an Easter Card. I wanted to make a Father's day card using To the Nines paper. This card could be for birthday's, occasions or most any event. It is really easy to make & is a standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. Until next post Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Rub on Candle/Box

My friend gave me some litte votive clear glass candle holders that just screamed RUB-ONs! If you haven't tried Stampin' Up's rub-on's now's the time. They are great for cards, scrapbook pages and any non-porous surface. Now they are even in color, easy to apply and make a great finish to any project. I added some older ones on an acrylic box I cut using the SU box die cut! Then filled it with colorful candy! I am working on a big candle but haven't quite decided how to finish it off. Will post when complete. Just have fun - quick and easy rub-ons! TIP: Start saving any acrylic packaging! Makes great material for a die cut. I used a Sizzix acrylic sleeve that came on a Big Die to make the little box! Until next post, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Bleached Blossoms!

Stampin' Success featured an article on using bleach with your stamps. I stamped the Upsy Daisy with bleach on both cards and then stamped over them with the same color ink as the paper. Funny thing, on the Pacific Point paper, the bleached flowers had a green tint to them so I used Kiwi Kiss ribbon and paper for accents. It does make a pretty effect and quick and easy. I folded one paper towel in a paper plate and put about 1 capful of bleach on it and used it as a stamp pad. Of course wash your stamp right away to get the bleach off. It is a technique worth a try! Using the rooster from the Level II Hostess set and To the Nines Designer paper I created this all occasion card. It is blank inside for a note or sentiment. As you can tell, I do love this paper. It is accented using Chocolate Chip Ribbon and brass brads topped off with a small brass mini-clip (Stampin' Up) I bought the clips months ago and just forgot I had them! It really adds to this card. Thanks for stopping by, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Quick Get Well Card

Great masculine Get Well card created using the To the Nines Designer Paper and the tree is stamped using SU Branching Out on the new Textile paper collection. I used retired ribbon because I love the colors to accent the card. Until next time, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Father's Day

Using the Stampin' Up set Thoughts of Father, I stamped the image in Chocolate Chip and distressed the edges. The printed paper is To the Nines. I love this new designer paper. The weight is exactly like cardstock which is a little heavier than the normal DSP. A Scallop Circle punch defines the sentiment! By changing the sentiment, it would make a great masculine birthday card or any occasion card. We will be making this card at one of our upcoming Stamp Club Meetings. Mary Jane's Makeover

Lots of people sent 'improvement' suggestions for Mary Jane which I really appreciated. Here is her makeover making her a 'better' person. I thought it was time to move to 'humans' since everyone is making animals, etc using the Top Note SU die! Guess now I'll have to come up with a 'partner' for her! She feels better now and enjoy! I tried to incorporate all the ideas. Thanks again. BTW she makes a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card. Until next post Happy Scrappin' & Stampin' Nancy

A Little Behind...

Bunnies are 'hopping' up everywhere now a days so here's my take. The inside says 'Happy Belated Birthday'! He was cut from circle punches - 1 3/4; 1 1/4 & 1 inch; ears are the small oval - Stampin' Up! The grass was cut on the Cricut. He's just a fun 'bunny'. Pink Rose

I colored this with Copics. It is the retired Stampin Up stipple rose. I used Rose Red for the cardstock and highlighted the rose by sponging inside an oval accented with two word punches! I just love that rose and great learning tool. Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy

Mary Jane

Everyone is making different things using the Top Note Die (SU). I came up with Mary Jane. I have requested any suggestions and ideas from another MB so later in the week I will make an updated version. She is just cute! The glasses, which you can't see on the picture, have acrylic lenses! She will fit a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card. So look for the updated version! Enjoy Until next time, Happy Stampin' and Scrappin' Nancy

Easter Treat in a can

Haven't seen many of these around lately so decided to make an Easter Treat. I cut the bottom from the can with a Pampered Chef can opener so it is seamless filled with Jelly Beans and resealed with Crystal Effects. The little chicken is from the SU stamp set, Good Egg and the paper is from the Sale-A-Brations catalog. Now you just POP the top for an Easter Treat. St. Patty's Day Card

Quick and easy St. Patty Day card. I did not have a heart punch so I folded the paper and punched the hearts using the oval punch! The stamp is a $1. Clear Stamp from Michael's mounted on brushed gold (SU) and scallop circle. I used Traffic Jam Cuttlebug embossing folder coated with Garden Green ink to make the back mat. WOW we woke up today to 10" of snow (Lynchburg, VA) It has been years since we have seen that much snow and it is beautiful. BUT tomorrow will be icey & not so pretty! Thanks for stopping by Until next time, Happy Stampin' & Scrappin' Nancy
