Strawberries, Anyone?

That's Jake eating Chocolate Covered Strawberries! He sure looks like he is enjoying them.
I used a Garden Green cardstock and Real Red. I printed the Strawberries with MDS and put Crystal Effects on the chocolate part to make them shine! I cut the embellishments using the Tasteful Trim Die from Stampin' Up. I stamped 'something Yummy for your tummy' on the background but it does not show on the scan!
Until next time!

Happy Easter CASE

Yes, case'd from the very talented Mary Fish over at Stampin Pretty. I was so happy too because I could use ALL left over papers and buttons and ribbon from past projects! Love to use left-overs! Don't you just love the cute punched bunny. Great too for 'a little late' cards!
Thanks for stoppin' by and come back often.
Until next time!

Lovely As a Tree

One of my favorite sets is Lovely as a Tree. I found these two stamped images laying around and thought I'd make a couple of cards using them. Needing a Get Well card this was first. Both cards were made from scraps I found in my stash!
Card 2 - I thought looked Spring-y by coloring the trees 2 shades of green. I am not sure what I will use it for but I do like the look. I love using things I find laying around... like recycling!!!

WOW...

I've been honored by Michelle Arthur (my Stampin' friend) with this Liebster Blog Award! Being a Stampin' Up Blogger, I am always thrilled to see that someone is being inspired by my creations!

Michelle's blog, Designs Done Simple, is worth checking out! She is very talented gal! She is a local Stampin' Up Demo. Thank you Michelle for the vote of confidence!

Now I have a few things to do... 1. Pass on the award to five other people, who's blogs have inspired me. It also needs to be someone who has less than 200 followers. 2. Put a comment on their blog, so that they know about it. 3. Link back to the person who gave me the award and thank them. 4. Post the award on my blog.

Please be sure to visit the following bloggers. These are a few I follow and have become great cyber friends. They make some neat cards and I'm certain you will enjoy taking the time to gaze at their creations.

Here are the stampers that I want to pass this award to...

Ret Cudmore (Cards and Crafts by Ret)

Becky Evans (Always Happy Stampin')

Regina Andari (Working Out the Inks)

Pam Staples (Sunny Girl Scraps)

Thank you, Michelle, for making my day!

Until next time!

Smiley Flower

After seeing a smiling flower on Kim Score's blog (Paper Punch Addition) I just had to make one. It is such a HAPPY, CHEERFUL card! I just love it. I used the Blossom Punch (125603) from the mini-catalog to create the flower and a sneak peek of the new Summer Smooch Designer Paper!
Well I am taking April 'off' trying to get all my 'stuff' caught up. I have neglected cleaning and taxes as long as I can so I will be posting and hopefully I can come up with some new and exciting projects. In May we'll be able to pre-order from the NEW catalog so some new things are in the future!
Don't forget to leave a comment and thanks for stopping by! Comments are so welcome and appreciated.
Until next time!

Calla Lilys

I made these from a pattern purchased at Valita's Fresh Folds! She really makes some gorgeous flowers from punches. It is such a beautiful card! I made this for an Easter card to send to my dear, dear friend in North Carolina. I put it in a clear 1/4" envelope to mail it so everyone could enjoy it! Don't you love the clear envelopes!
I think next one I will use Wild Wasabi for the leaves instead of the Garden Green and not so many of them.
Until next time!

Sneak Peek

Stampin' Up is offering (April 1) a Sneak Peek at the new Summer Smooch collection! I made this neat tissue holder from the new Designer Paper. It is so 'cheerful' and 'colorful'. You're gonna love it.
I used the Ornament Punch for the flower pot and the clear buttons using the trio punches for the flowers. Would look great on your craft table, desk or nice little gift! Thanks for stopping by and remember 'love' to get comments. Sorry the photo isn't the best - my camera is acting up!
Until next time!

Another Tulip

Here's another tulip for you. I made this CAS'ing another wonderful flower from Valita's Fresh Folds. She is the Princes of Flowers! She makes some of the most gorgeous flowers using punches! Very, very talented lady!
This would make a great Mother's Day card, Easter Card, Sympathy Card or just a note card!
This particular tulip was made using (are ya sittin' down) ... the OWL punch!!! I used Rose Red and Old Olive cardstock and the curled edge technique for the finished card. Enjoy!
Until next time!

Get Well

I need some Get Well cards so I quickly made this using a punched tulip I saw on Valita's Fresh Folds Blog using the 5 Petal Punch from Stampin' Up. You cut out two petals and fold the 3rd (middle) petal and fold up and VOILA' - a tulip! Iused the Ornament Punch for the flower pot and a piece of the Summer Smooch collection (Sneak Peek)!
Sorry I have not posted more this week but I am finally on the mend so hopefully I will get all caught up! LOL
Until next time!

Panda Bear

What a cute panda for a super Juvie card? This was CASE'd from Beth Beard at My Little Craft Blog. So fun, quick and easy!
I'm sorry I have neglected my blog lately but I have been sick for the last 3 weeks and I just can't shake it. Hopefully it will be over soon. I have however made a few things for a NEW Technique Junkie CD planned for this summer so watch for it!
Thanks for stopping by!

Mini-Composition Book Purse

How cute is this? I saw it at BeckyB's and just happen to have ONE mini composition book left from along time ago so I had to make one! What a great hostess gift or thank you gift, teacher gift! And 'inexpensive' too. You get 3 (three) mini composition books at the $1.00 Store! Great use for scraps too. I cut the corners off using my Karl Kutter. It took 4 swipes (4 layers of pages) BUT it cuts it great. You can cut it manually! Enjoy! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Pencils!

These have been floating around the internet for years and I ran across them again on StamperCamper's Blog so I decided it was time to try them!.
Using 3 1/4 x 5 Daffodil (any color will do) and scoring at ever 3/8". Then cut 1/4 x 3 3/8 Basic Gray and 1/2 x 3 3/8 Rose Red for the eraser. They are so cute. I made 3 using the Rolos and 2 using Mentos. For the ones with Mentos you need 3 1/4 x 5 3/4 since they are a bit longer than the Rolos. Enjoy! Great Teacher Gifts and would be excellent for treats for the kids too!
Until next time!

Faux Stained Glass

I saw this on Patty Bennett's blog the other day and just had to try it. Using Vellum and your markers you can make the Cards & Envelopes Set (Page 9 - Occasions Mini) look like Stained Glass. Ain't it pretty?
You get 8 envelopes and 4 Heart notes and 4 Border notes. (Item 125414) for only 9.95! It iw quick, easy and fun to make and dress up these note cards.
Take a piece of vellum and using Dotto I tacked it on TOP of the open heart. Using your markers color over each leaf and flower (any colors); detach and place the painted vellum on the back of the open heart and adhere. I used a piece of Pink Piroquette cardstock on the back of the heart inside the card so you don't see the vellum! Easy - Peasy. Any questions, email me! What a fun technique!
You can go soft and subtle or bold and bright! Oh BTW then i used a Edgelit to add a design to the envelope! and Sincere Salutations is the greeting!
Until next time!
