Another 3D Ornament

I KNOW, I KNOW the Challenge is over but...
I ran across the ornament on the very talented Connie Babbert's Blog and just had to make it (for next year). You know all those brad & button containers you have and just can't part with - PERFECT for this ornament! It is a Snowman's Hat! Fill with candy and use for an ornament/gift!

Great 3D project and so save those containers for next year and we'll make a bunch of these! Super Girl Scout project or GA's or just a cute little gift for your neighbor, mailman, newspaper lady, and the list goes on and on!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

PS Check out the NEW Late Night Stampers Challenge Blog! goes live today!

Until next time!

Challenge 203

Challenge! 203
3D - make an ornament

So many of us have been spending a little time crafting gifts for our neighbors and friends. Many of you have created some adorable ornaments as some of these gifts. It's not too late to share your ornament with us (for next year)!

These little tea light (battery operated) snowmen have been floating around the internet and are so cute and makes the neatest ornaments glowing on your tree! I used an alcohol marker to paint the nose orange (looks yellow in the picture).

When you get your creation made you can upload it HERE

Not Just for Christmas

I made this as a Winter card and not necessarily Christmas; good for masculine or just friend to friend! I used the new Honeycomb Embossing Folder 129378 on the Gumball Green Core'dinations 127847 paper. Love the Scentsational Seasons Stamp Set 121190 and the matching Holiday Collection Framelits 127814.
I made several of these Tree Treats to give when visiting or when someone stopped by!

Now go have a cup of hot cocoa and CREATE! Thanks for stopping by and I hope all is enjoying the Christmas season with family and friends.

Until next time!

Storage Idea

Don't you just love the new pads of DSP Stampin' Up has now! I decided I needed storage for the pad! The clear stamp cases (119105) again to the rescue. Now I have a place for scraps of the DSP and the pad just fits inside. I added the catalog info at the bottom!

Hope you enjoy!

Double Door Gift Card Holder

Challenge 202
Gift card/Money holder

We all use gift cards - either for the mail person, paper boy, teacher, bus driver, etc.  So what type of gift card/money holder can you design?  Share your work with us so we can all be inspired by your creativity!

The double doors hold your 'gift card' and the Whisper White mat serves as a card with plenty of room for everyone to sign and leave their greeting. The doors are Cherry Cobble and I used two punches to make the wreaths. The knobs are Stampin' Up's Glitter Brads!

Need some inspiration?  Check out the design team submissions HERE

Once you get your holder made you can upload it
HERE

You have plenty of time to play (the Challenges will run 2 weeks)  along during this busy time of year.  Fill up our folder so we can see your work!.

I hadn't realized it has been a week since I posted. I'll try and do better next week!

Until next time!

Challenge 201

Good Morning Ladies:

I am in the process of trying to setup a new computer here and Windows 8 gives you lots of challenges! It is going to take 'forever' to get back to my old, comfortable status.

Below is a Santa I made after seeing on Valita's Fresh Folds blog. He is just too cute and I couldn't resist. He is quite glittery!

The Chrismon is an ornament I made for our Christmas tree at church. If you love glitter Christmas time is the best time to show it off!

Challenge 201
Add Sparkle

It is time to add some sparkle to your creations. Create a card, scrapbook page, 3D project or anything else you can think of where you add sparkle to your creation.
