Inspiration Abound

I don't think I posted these cards. I made them a couple of weeks ago and don't remember where I saw the inspiration. The first one is a super way to use ribbon scraps! AND only two more ordering days you can get the 3/8" Stitched Satin ribbon FREE with any $40. merchandise order!

I used the Apothecary Accents Framelits 127003 to cut the mat for the sentiment from Thoughts and Prayers 127805.

The second card was totally made using the Open Sea 123032 stamp set and all blues! Island Indigo Baker's twine 125575 adds accent to the card.

Another Miscellaneous Post...

The first card was a quick card I made using some scraps I found on my table to make the ornaments. The white mat was embossed using the Northern Flurry 120902 Embossing Folder and Merry Christmas is from Teeny Tiny Wishes 127802. That is one stamp set you will never give up! It is so versatile and has any sentiment you ever need. I cute the ornaments using the new Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies 127816.

The cute little note pad/pen holder makes a great little gift, nice hostess gift for your next hostess. It fits in your purse and who doesn't need a piece of paper on occasion. The mat is retired paper but the base is Marina Mist and I used the From the Heart 126557 stamp set for the sentiment and Labels Collection Framelits 125598 to cut the mat!

Etc...

Here are two cards I made after surfing all day yesterday! (well when my internet was working) Anywho... The top card fits a standard business envelope. I used the Elegant Bird Bigz 125593 die cut from computer paper and then sponged the bird in Night of Navy. The leaf is from the French Foliage 121166 stamp set and the sentiment from Curly Cute 120510. The card base is Night of Navy and the mat is River Rock.

The Cherry Cobbler card is simple done by embossing the branches and I added gold stones, colored with a Gold Magic Marker and stamped (retired set) the sentiment in gold as well. The stones look better in real life!

Mini Paper Bag Album

My friend wanted to make a paper bag album (a quick and easy one) and this one is made using 2 bags which means it has two inserts but six or seven pages to decorate with journaling, pictures or embellishments. The bags were folded in 1/2 and using the Crop-a-dile I punched holes thru all layers and tied together with Sweather Edging Stampin' Up carries 129937!

I used Baja Breeze and Gumball Green to accent the pages and make tabs for the inserts. Snow Festival Designer Series Paper126908 was used throughout for embellishments. The red bags were purchased at the big box store.

What a neat gift for someone special OR for your own Christmas memories.

ENJOY!

Candy Corn

Nope I did not go to Founder's Circle but I saw this on Becky Robert's blog and decided to try one. I just used two cuts of each color (Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie) and made this cute little Candy Corn piece with the Petal Cone Die (121810); the tag is from the Goulish Goodies Kit 126914 mounted on the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle punch 118874! Too cute.

There was no pattern I just used the full Petal Cone on the bottom and cut the other two colors accordingly and stacked them! Fill with Candy Corn and you are good to 'go'! What a treat!

Witchie Night...

I made these two Halloween cards using the witch only from Toxic Treats 127901. The clouds were sponged in using a cloud template and Basic Gray classic ink. The Howlstooth & Scarybone designer paper  126906 was the mat on Basic Gray or the Basic Black. Both cards were accented with the new Antique Ribbon Slides 127834 and Basic Gray Satin Stripped Ribbon 127837.

I also added brads and jewels I colored with a black magic marker to finish off these two Halloween cards. Both cards were inspired by one I saw on fellow stampers, Beth Beard's blog.

Bingo Bits

Goodness I did not realize it had been so long since I last posted! Better keep up ...

I made this quick card today using Spooky Bingo Bits 123946 and I KNOW, I  K-N-O-W retired Halloween Designer Paper! I just can't seem to let it go. I used the Postage Stamp Punch 122344 and the 1" square punch 124094; sentiment - Hand Penned Holidays (oops, retired too) 124312!

I will admit I am not much on Halloween so I don't like to get too much of the paper to use BUT this year at least we can buy some for My Digital Studio and use it 'forever'!

Right now I am having issues with my internet service! Had to switch to US Cellular and it 'stinks'! I get speeds a little above dial-up... and it is really hard to upload or download anything! Only 22 more months and I can get something else. LOL

See you next post...

Until next time!

Birthdays Galore!

I made these tins for Jake's (my grandson) school for his birthday. I KNOW, I KNOW it's not until October but gotta stay ahead! Each tin has a fun size packet of M&M's and who doesn't LOVE M&M's!

His birthday theme is going to be 'Construction'! He'll be three years old - my how time flies! I used the I Dig You 122722 stamp set and cut each truck out using Dimensionals to adhere to the tin. The colorful designer paper is retired but fit the bill!

Today is 'my baby's' birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY OWEN. He's Jake's dad and will be 34.

Until next time!

Oh the weekend...

I think everyone looks forward to the weekend but I have a busy one so ... I just wanted to share this with you today.

The background for the Frightening Feline 128105 card was printed from MDS (Howlstooth & Scaringbone 126906 Designer Paper). Embellishments are non-SU but from my stash! Gotta get rid of my stash! LOL I used the Apothecary Accents Framelits 127003 to cut the kitty and mat. It was just a quick card for Halloween! Don't you just love that little kitty?

Washer Necklaces

These are a little off my beaten path but I thought I would show you. They are really cute in person! After using the Designer Paper to make them, I sprayed them with Shimmer stuff and they really shine! Hope you like them.

I am having a really rough time with my internet so I will make this short so I can get it posted.

Until next time!

Wonderous Wishes

Christmas is coming and as usual sooner than you thank. I love this Wonderous Wishes set 126297. The base of the card is Real Red matted with Basic Black and accented with Tiny Tag wishes 118592 (punched with the Jewelry Tag 117190) and a shiny, satin ribbon tie!

TIP: If you use the Jewelry Tag Punch... stamp your word, punch the tiny hole for hanging and THEN punch it out with the Jewelry Tag Punch. It is much easier!

Bootiful Occasion

It has been such a rainy day making it a good day to stamp. I have been preparing for the upcoming September classes and clubs but found time for this cute little card. I used the Bootiful Occasion 126597 for the image, framed it with Pacific Point and added the International Bazaar 126920 Designer Paper for a mat which helps the main image pop. The ribbon is Tangerine Tango dotted and I had to add the stars (Punch Pack 124144) because I smudged ink on the white! (Artist mistake).

The base card is made using Tangerine Tango and I randomly stamped it with one of the Ornament Keepsake Stamps 128051. I love the color combo! Makes a great masculine card!

Clothespin Wreath

The clothespins were from the $ store (bless them)...Anyway I used an 8" embroidery hoop as the base and hot glued the pins to it. These are not as easy to do as they look. If you try one, be sure and start where you are going to add the decoration because they don't end up perfectly even (or at least mine didn't!)

I used Snow Festival Designer Paper 126908; the bow from the 1/4" Sweater Trim (129938, 12838, 129937) I added ornaments from the Ornament Keepsake Bundle 129950. Stampin' Up has combined some framelits with the matching stamp set for a savings to YOU! SU now has tulle ribbon so I could 'beef' up the bow with some of that (next time I order LOL).

I like this wreath because it is flat and will fit nicely between a storm door and the main door (no bulk). Hope you like it and give it a try! Thanks for stopping by.

Until next time!

Double Duty

This neat treat box was made putting two Petite Purse die cuts 125606 together. I cut one from the Orchard Harvest Designer Paper and one from More Mustard then I filled it with M&M's after punching the hole and putting a piece of acetate inside. The leaves were die cut using Autumn Harvest 127812 die.

I used the new Stampin' Up Silicon Mat 127853 on Page 31 from the Occasions Mini to put a dollop of hot glue and assemble the leaves and button. It makes it so easy to assemble your own decorations and then lift it off the sheet and place on your project. Check it out!

Would this not be a great place card for your Thanksgiving Dinner. Just put the name on the tag instead of a greeting! Of course M&M's are good for any occasion! Great gift item too!

I also made a little tag today that can go on a card or scrapbook page so I thought I would share that with you too. I worked on lots more things today and I will share with you later!

Hope you have and are having a great holiday weekend!

Until next time!

Shake your 'booty'

Those little boots are so cute and one for every occasion. This Did you know you can color your pearls 119247 and rhinestones with Magic Markers (or any alcohol marker)?  The base is Basic Gray matted with Basic Black after embossing it with the Chevron Embossing Folder 127749.

The Labels Collection 125598 Framelits were used to cut the boot and Crushed Concord (retired) mat and then I pierced around them using the Festive Paper Piercing Pack 127857! If you haven't tried it, piercing add so much dimension. Bootiful Occasions 126597 is the stamp set. Buttons and ric rac non-Stampin' up but from my stash!

Until next time!
