Donut Seeds

What a gift! I was cleaning (yes, cleaning) out a drawer and found these I had for YEARS. So I up-scaled it and came up with this for your Donut Seeds! It was just too cute to pass up!

Just a fun thing to do! Now time to get to work...

Until next time!

Happy Thanksgiving

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all. Be sure and give thanks today for all the blessings God has bestowed on you & yours this year!

Two shares today:

I made these coaster tiles using old hymnal paper. The sheets were Modge Podge'd to the tile and then I adhered the music notes for a variety! Tie them up in a pretty Chevron Bow and you have a really nice gift for someone special.

Next you have a 'Hot Chocolate' Mug! My dear cyber friend, Cheryl, found some neat tumblers at Walmart. Well our Walmart does not have them BUT they had this nice Ball Jar Mug (Aladdin Thermal) which worked just as well. I used the Festive Flurry Stamp Set and Framelits to embellish the straw. I did take advantage of the little tag that was already on the mug and made a Petite Pocket holder for a gift card!!!

I filled the mug with French Vanilla marshmallows & instant Hot Chocolate! (great combo)

I hope you enjoy these posts and remember, left-overs are good too!

Until next time!

Challenge 236

Good Morning!
Challenge 236
Punches

This week we want you to pull out your punches/dies and do some creating.  Create a card, 3D project, scrapbook page, or anything else you can think of using your punches
Today we have put out a PUNCH Challenge. I consider my dies as punches as well. (they punch paper) Anyway WallyMart had these little burlap frames on sale for $1.00 so I could not pass it up.

I made these two FRAMEABLE projects using the Wonderfall Die for Fall and the Sensational Seasons Framelits for the Christmas Cookie Recipe (Homemade Happiness Frameable Template from MDS). How cute are they?

Makes a great gift or for your own decor. Still time to play along.

Need some inspiration?  Check out the design team samples HERE

When you get your project made, we would love to have share it with us.  You can link it up HERE

Until next time!

Scrapbook pages for today...

I have been behind in making pages so today I made a Lemon page for Josie! Debbie says - Pucker up Butter Cup! She sure did.

The other page features Jacob with his experience with live lobsters! He really enjoyed that and even ate them too!  I am so glad he liked them. They are my favorite seafood!

Bow Die Wreath

I made this Fall wreath with retired SU paper just to test the 'theory'! But I love it... light weight, easy to display. I used 19 Bows from the new Bow Die and then 38 - of the 1/2 bows to fill in. I hot glued them to a ribbon wrapped flat cardboard wreath.

I have no pattern i just started gluing!
You could adjust some of the spacing but for the first try it turned out pretty good!

U S Map

This was 'inspired' by the Photopolymer Map It Out Stamp Set from Stampin Up 134620. However, I cut this from my Silhouette and added a star from the retired Christmas Punch set. World Map 130345 was used for the background and A Dozen Thoughts 131059 for the sentiment!

It's an awesome card to send someone you miss or just any occasion by changing the sentiment. Baked Brown Sugar is the mat and Cherry Cobbler for the base.

Christmas Tree from Bow Die

I made this using the Gift Bow Die  that just happens to be on Sale this week - CLICK HERE to order or email me! (12997)

I used discontinued paper just to be sure it would work and the smaller of the styrofoam cones. Boy styrofoam has really jumped in price! Guess since it is a petroleum based item... It took 74 - 1/2 bow cuts! (5 sheets of DSP)

Anyway how great is that for your table centerpiece!

Christmas Envelope Album

Envelopes are no longer just for mailing! I used 3 invitation size envelopes to make this cute little Christmas Album. Cherry Cobbler was the main color matching up with Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack (132181). I love those little tablets of paper. They are a great size for cards without a lot of waste.

Backside
Cover

Inside Pockets

Inserts from Pockets

There is lots of room for journaling and lots of room for pictures capturing the moments of the season.
The album was decorated with Season of Style Designer Journaling Tags 132808 and Merry from Expressions Thinlits Dies 132171.

I hope you like the album and try one on your own! Makes a great gift for family, friends and even teachers!

EPB (Envelope Punch Board)

Your Envelope Punch Board (133774) is NOT just for envelopes. Tanya Bell (a very, very talented lady) over at Stamping T made this super great tutorial for 12, yes - 12, boxes you can make with your NEW TOY. If you haven't ordered yours yet - you're missin' out on a must-have tool!

I love making envelopes using an old atlas! I try to pick a page from the area you live in so it is a familiar place!

Starbucks Santas

What a great way to recycle these little bottles. Fill them with Christmas Candy and decorate like Santa!

You could give them individually OR decorate the carton and give as a bigger gift. Good way to remember all the people at the office, neighbors, or anyone on your list!

Candy Corn

I saw this on Janet Wakefields' Blog and thought what a great idea for candy corn!

The poem reads:

WHITE is for our sins that Jesus washed away

ORANGE is for new hope the Lord gives us each day

YELLOW is for His wisdom and words so sweet!

The tag was done in My Digital Studio! which is still FREE for 30 days. Gives you a chance to see if you like it.  CLICK HERE to try it for 30 days!

Technique of the Week

Technique Junkies features a Technique of the Week. This week it is the Chain Link Technique featured in the October/November TJ Newsletter! An easy but quick impressive card can be made using this design!

Since my border punches are limited I used my Silhouette to cut these 'chains'. The paper is retired DSP from Stampin Up!
