3D Flower Box

This cute little 3D Paper Flower Box was on Youtube by Rachel Lewsley from My Stampin' Haven. It was so cute I had to try it and it's not as difficult as it looks. Give it a try! I am sure you will love it.

What a great gift or little remembrance to take to a bed-ridden patient! or just to brighten up a corner! Oops...forgot to put a bow. Off to do that now. Hope you enjoy making your 3D Flower Box.

Until next time!

Flower Patch

Always remember, most of the time if you see a stamp set that has a matching Framelit, chances are there is a bundle price saving you about 15%! Well I didn't even think, senior moment, and I ordered the Flower Patch separate then had to turn around and get the Framelit to match!!!

I used the Good Greetings Hostess set for the sentiment. After receiving my UPS delivery I had to try the new scallop framelit and I love it! And a funny thing, a friend of mine at church Sunday had on a dress and believe it or not the colors in it would have matched the flower and I made the flower last week! Too funny!

Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. Can be used for a sympathy card, birthday card, mother's day, etc.

Until next time!

Stair Step Card

Sue brought us a stair step card she had made for Christmas and I thought I’d try. Only difference – I cut all the stamps out with my Print N Cut feature using the Silhouette Cameo! Then they are colored using the new Brendabilities pens from Stampin Up! I do plan to add a bit of glitter on the ‘snow’ for accent.

There are lots of different stair step cards. It was such fun I may try some more. Give it a go... I'm sure you'll love it. Oh BTW this was first seen on Pinterest.

Hope you like it.  I think we might do one at our next club meeting.

Until next time!

Finally...

Finally I get to post. I have been so busy... to tell the truth I had more time when I was NOT retired! I did get to play some today and have been debating about getting a Brother Scan N Cut... since I enjoy my Silhouette Cameo so much...

I used the new Blendabilities from Stampin' Up to color the flower on top. I have Copics but I must say I love the new pens from SU! They are sooooo easy to use and such great results.

The card is from the new InColors as well as the mat; Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow! It matches perfectly. I accented the card with pearls which added so much.

The Shopping List Magnet I made as a gift. I used the Flower Patch Stamp Set and used the Flower Fair Framelits. What a super combination! Crushed Curry is the background color.

Hope to get more done soon. My work schedule is easing up a bit! Thanks for stopping by.

Until next time!

Totally Stepped Up

On page 174 in the new Stampin Up Catalog is a gorgeous card  - Totally Stepped Up. Cover a Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with VersaMark ink, Stamp it like a background stamp, emboss the image and then color it in with the Stampin' Chalk Marker.

It is a great technique - try it! Have a great day!

Until next time!
