Yet another Curvy Keepsake...

Yep - Peppa Pig! Just had to try it. My grandson loves Peppa Pig! There are just so many possibilities using the Curvy Keepsake Framelit.

It is on BackOrder from Stampin' Up right now but plans to be shipped November 3. If you haven't ordered one, it is a MUST have!

Until next time!

Tweaked Flip Top

This is for a Christmas gift! I tweaked the pattern on the Silhouette a bit which improved the amount of space for the cut-outs. I used a Noel from the Many Merry Stars Simply Created kit that I received yesterday! (138104) It is amazing and FULL of stuff to do and let your creativity run WILD!

I love my Silhouette and if you are considering a cutting machine purchase, give them a whirl. They also have the BEST tech support around!

Flip Top Candle Holder

This candle holder can be made using one sheet of 12x12 paper. I put a battery operated candle in it! My friend sent it to me from Pinterest and I made this one by drawing it out using my Silhouette! It may need a bit of tweaking but it was a fun project.

You could make this in orange or black for Halloween; red for Christmas or Valentines; Subtle papers for Easter and on and on. Thanks for stopping by.

Red Bird Lantern

Is this not the cutest lantern you have ever seen? This will be our club project for November! It is made using the Milk Carton Die from SU (retired) but still a great project.

Would make a great Christmas tree ornament or a nice memorabilia gift with the battery operated tea light that is inside! The original was on Pinterest. Thanks for stopping by.

Josie's Creative Day

Another Treasure Box Design's cutting file. I just love them - something for all occasions!

Josie is really getting into the painting! Never too young to be creative!

Wonderous Wreath

Stampin' Up!'s Wondrous Wreath bundle (137624) is such a great collection of products!  The fact that the stamps are clear makes it easy add the colorful layers to complete the wreath, but the alignment tabs (on the stamps and the dies) make them even easier to stamp and cut.

Paper 3D Nativity

I bought this file last year from Silhouette. Only thing, there were NO assembly instructions! BUT... got it figured out (I think)! It is approximately 5 x 7 and will hang on the wall. There is a third Wiseman but I should have cut him from another shade of gray because you can barely see him.

It was a fun project! Enjoy! (Christmas is just around the corner!)

Scrapbook Shares

I have been MIA for a while and I am sorry for that but life has just been TOO busy! These are a few scrapbook pages I managed to do and wanted to share.

I used lots of paper piecings from Treasure Box Designs. It's a site worth taking a look even if you don't have a cutting machine! Dina has some super cool designs and they are so easy to cut using the Silhouette. I just ordered a new Silhouette Cameo that came out yesterday. I love it!

You can even address envelopes using the Silhouette and I use PaperMate Ink Joy pens!

LNS Challenge October 257

We're up and running again with our LNS Challenges. (#257)

Did you miss us?  We missed you but we all needed a break.  Today is the start of our challenges with the changes we have made.

This was supposed to be published on the 6th... Cyberspace - go figure!

Do you love to stamp?  Do you sometimes hit a brick wall as to what to do with the blank card stock?  Then you came to the right place!

Each month we will present a new challenge.  We will share with you our interpretation of the challenge.  We invite you to play along with us.  Create a card, scrapbook page, 3D item, or anything else you can think of and post it here with a link to your online site.  If you are so inclined you can post more than 1 item - we love seeing your creations!

At the end of the month we will choose a winner to be announced on the first day of the next month.  The winner will receive a winners badge and be our guest designer for next upcoming month.  Grab your supplies and come play with us!

October Challenge
This month is all about this time of year.  Our challenge this month is create a project using the theme HALLOWEEN/HARVEST (apples, pumpkins, etc).  As you can see the challenge is wide open so you have a lot of to choose from.

This was a quick and easy Halloween card. Card base is Pumpkin Pie with a Basic Black mat, scalloped edge and rubbed with White Craft Ink! After cutting the Ghost using the Fall Fest Framelits (135856) (Fall Fest - 135194) I added a strip of 'happy haunting' (Ghoulish Greetings - 136664) over top the Pumpkin Pie Chevron ribbon. The card is accented with 3 Candy Dots. (love the dots!)

Another Curvy Box and more!

We searched for an Army Tank for my grandson to take to Show N Tell but could not find one. So I made this one for him! I bought the pattern from My Time Made Easy and it was GREAT and perfect for this project.

I do suggest you read the directions BEFORE you begin. I didn't and made a few mistakes so, next time!

Saw this curvy box on Pinterest and loved it. Even sent hubby to the store for caramels!

Until next time!

Minnie Mouse Curvy

What's Mickey without Minnie? She's not the greatest but they go together. I will work on them a bit!

Thanks for stopping by!

Yet another Curvy Keepsake Box

A friend of mine asked me to cut some Mickey Mouse letters for her and then I thought, hummm, a Mickey Curvy Box!!!

I must admit he needs some improvements so will work on that!
