First After-Christmas Christmas Card

Since I ran out of my handmade Christmas cards this year, I decided to at least try and make one or more a week so it does not happen again.

This is my first one.

The base is Garden Green with a Cherry Cobbler open-up card on top. The Designer Paper is retired as well as the felt embellishment. The saying is from Gina K on the Stitched Graduated Labels. Hopefully many more to come. I am trying to use some of my stash.

Hope everyone has a Great and Happy New Year. Stay Safe.

Until next time have a blessed day!

Pot Holders

WOW I did not realize it  has been so long since I posted.

I mailed out ALL my handmade Christmas cards and had to resort to store-bought ones! So I have decided to start the New Year out making at least a card per week (and more).

Today's post has two pot  holders I made from scratch and I love them both. They were such fun to make.

The bird one is 7.5 x 7.5 and the smaller one is 5 x 5. I think I like the bigger one better and I love the way it is bound.

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas even though Covid 19 limited what family could do. I want to wish every one a VERY Happy New Year!

Until next time have a blessed day!

Freeze pop cozy

These freeze pop holders are for the grandkids. The base is faux vinyl and lined with felt.

The kids love them 'cause it keeps their hands from freezing!

Until next time have a blessed day!

Straight Punch

Quick and easy Christmas card. All punched out. I used the Big shot and the new Sweetest Borders Die (153559) from the Christmas mini. The words on the inside are from the Word Wishes Die set (149629)

The Buffalo print was done using the 1" square die and punched the black squares. Great look for such a simple card. Like I said quick and easy!

Until next time have a blessed day!

Hi Top Boot

Made this today after finally getting the right material. It was fun to make but time consuming. I wish it were a bit bigger.

I love the hi top shoe. I made mine camo.

Until next time!

With Love...

Tried that quilt look introduced by my cyber friend, Regina! Mine was not as successful as hers but still a great card. I  used the bow from the Holiday mini-catalog which is anchored on top of a gold snowflake doily (retired). I punched a few leaves in gold and cherry cobbler for accent.

Hope everyone is staying healthy and still doing lots of card-making or scrapbooking. I have been lax on both counts but hopefully this will end soon. Have a great day.

Until next time!
