Froggie!
Someone shared this on a messageboard and I can't find who 'cause I would like to give her credit. The frog is made from all Stampin' Up punches. I printed the saying on my computer... It is so cute and my dd loves frogs.

Magic Wallets
I saw these on someone's blog but had made them myself over 20 years ago from balsa wood! I cut these from chipboard coasters and covered them in retired Stampin' Up Designer Paper. I made one each for my grandchildren to put gift cards in. They are really neat. They open both ways moving the card from one side to the other.
If I can find the site again, I will post the link.

Cattails
This was stamped on Kraft paper cardstock (SU) with Garden Green ink - stamp is one of the new SU stamps - Inspired by Nature. I just love it! I misted it with water before stamping then used the horizontal punch for the cattails. I applied flocking to a scrap of Close to Cocoa and punched which gives a nice fuzzy feel to the cattail.
The bookplate was cut with the new Big Shot with a Sizzix bookplate die from chipboard then I pressed into the gold stamp pad for color. Dragonfly is a brad.

Left-Over
I had to work all this week so I was looking thru my craft room trying to come up with some ideas. This was a piece of paper was left over from one of my brayering/sponging cards so it was screaming 'USE ME USE ME' soooo I made this card. I added some stamping at the bottom and embossed it; a greeting, embossed it. I then put the Word Punch accents and mounted it.
It was also when I was practicing clouds too. Not too bad for a left-over!
Thanks for coming by and looking. Until my next post,

Life
This is another quick and easy for my 10-10-10. I used a level 1 hostess stamp set. I stamped the flower in Pink Pirouette, tied the bow (Offray ribbon). I stamped LIFE and punched with the new larger oval punch from Stampin' Up. Another quick & easy card! The base is Kiwi Kiss cardstock.

Home for Christmas - Quick Card
I made this as part of a 10-10-10 I am planning. It is stamped using Home for Christmas SU set in Pacific Point (one of the new InColors). I used Pacific Point & Baja Blue for the card stock. I dyed the vanilla ribbon using Pacific Blue to match & scalloped the edge with the new SU scallop edge punch...Quick & Easy...
Thanks for looking.

Home for Christmas
This is a new SU stamp set featured in the October 1 Mini Catalog and a MUST HAVE! I made this standup card using this set. I colored the stamp using markers then stickled the two trees. I used the Cardinal Christmas mistletoe stamp using red ink on the base of the card. This is a great card you can be proud to display and fits in a regular mailing envelope!

Thanksgiving
I just got this stamp set and feel in love with it. It is sooooo Thanksgiving! and Fall! I colored the image with SU watercolor crayons, cut ovals using Spellbinders Die Cuts and matted it on a 3" square of Autumn Vine Designer Series Paper. Cardstock is More Mustard & Really Rust. The tiny brad was from a Girl Scout collection but matched and finished it off perfectly. I stamped the row of leaves and put inside the card.

Christmas Cardinal
Riding Hood Red is the cardstock for this card. This is one of the new Stamp Sets in the Mini that comes out October 1. I 'cased' the sample in the book except I cut the wrong edge so I made it backwards! The bird & branch was colored with SU markers. I tied vanilla taffetta ribbon around the card. Merry Christmas was on Kraft SU cardstock and pop-dots to give it the 3D look.

Halloween House
This has to be one of the worst card experiences I have ever had! Nothing turned out like I had planned. One mistake after the other but I finished it anyway. I love this stamp set though, SU House of Haunts!
I used Summer Sun, Elegant Eggplant & Tangerine Tango for the cardstock. The spiderweb Cuttlebug embossing folder accented the background.

Cut Flower - Haiku
Designer Series Haiku (Hi-coo) is featured on this card. I used a 6 petal flower punch (sorry I don't have the 5 petal from SU) anyway, then cut the petals apart and layered behind the original 6 petal cut. It was backed on Haiku paper with Tango Tangerine (new SU InColor)cardstock. I will admit I saw this design on someone's blog and for the life of me I don't remember where but THANK YOU! for the inspiration.

Harvest Moon
This was made using the SU stamp set Autumn Harvest. I brayered the background in Summer Sun Classic Ink then sponged the ground & sky. The pumpkins were stamped and embossed in black, then I colored them w/ Watercolor Crayons & Pencils. Used Baroque Motif behind the pumpkins and then highlighted them w/ white gel pen.
Love this practicing! I hope you like this card.

This card is a quick and easy card to make. Great for card swaps. I used the new Banbury Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up along with the Argyle Cuttlebug embossing die. The stamp set is Pocket Silouettes (on sale now 15% OFF). The ribbon is Close to Cocoa. Any greeting can be put on this one!

Sympathy Card
I made this sympathy card for a friend of mine. I am working on cloud sponging and it is really alot nicer in real life but thought I would share even though it was not quite the effect I was after. The first layer was brayered with bordering blue and then I masked off the moon/sun and sponged. I stamped the branches (SU Pocket Silhouettes) and embossed; highlighted with the white gel pen (which by the way is the best gel pen I have ever used by Stampin' Up)...

Halloween Topper
Made this quick topper today using the pumpkin from Autumn Harvest (Stampin' Up). The scallop circle & scallop border are SU punches. Fill the cello bag with Cheetos!
The poem reads:
A night on the town is certainly proof,
Pumpkins were watching while you make a goof.
Tricking not treating is your game,
Your pumpkins at home were thinking the same.
So when you get home this you must do
check your shoes for Pumpkin Pooh!
I am not really good w/ toppers but I am gonna keep practicing...just having fun!

Kindred Spirit
Love these Cuttlebug Embossing folders and this one - Friends Forever matches the SU Silhouette stamp perfectly. I can't wait to get my new Halloween and Christmas ones (they are in the mail) from Charlies Scrappin Store. You also get the die for the words as well. I sprinkled Diamond Dust on the flowers and DROPPED THE JAR on my table now everything glitters!
I used Old Olive Card stock and cut the scalloped circles from Spellbinders Nestabilities. TIP: I always put a drop of Crystal Effects on top of the knot because the gold cord seems to never stay tied!

Stormy
This is another Zindorf knockoff - Love the color combo. This was not brayered but sponged. I used Sahara Sand and basic black. After sponging the bottom 1/2, use a gel pen to put some streaks to add dimension. Was just an easy card to play with. Thanks for looking.

Cutest Backpack
I saw this on this website, InkingIdaho (HERE) BUT I followed the other link from her site and used the 12x12 pattern. I do plan to make the smaller one today just to try it out! I used retired Outlaw paper and star studs so this could be used for a boy!
What a great teacher's gift, birthday, etc... you could put a gift card inside (the front pocket is too small and a bigger pocket looks odd) or candy, first aid kit, pens, etc. It is just sooooo cute.

My dgd (darling granddaughter) started feeding the deer in our yard on a recent visit and now we have them all the time; as many as 6 or more! They are just beautiful to watch. They are becoming quite friendly!\

Two cards to share
I made these two cards last night and wanted to share with you. I cut a scalloped square using the Spellbinders nestabilities then punched on all four sides with the Stampin' Up Scallop punch. I stamped the words on the twill tape from Upsy Daisy stamp set!
The second card was totally 'cased' from a friend of mine - Thanks Delores! I used Basic Gray cardstock stamping a retired background stamp then stamped in black French Flair - also retired. I used the Spellbinders to cut the ovals. I liked the contrast of colors. These two cards would make great swap cards!

Upsy Daisy Watercolor
I just love this new SU stamp. It's 15% off this month and well worth it! Check it out!
I used Pretty in Pink & Pixie Pink SU Markers and Old Olive marker. Then spritzed the stamp with water and stamped. The parenthesis were cut using the tab punch and the rick rack with the straight scallop punch by Stampin' Up. Cardstock is Pink Pirquette matted with Kiwi Kiss. I also stamped about three of the flowers on the inside corner. Love these colors too! They are so cheery.

Acetate Christmas Ornament Card
After running the sheet of transparency thru the Cuttlebug embossing folder, I cut them in circles cutting one from cardstock as well. I sponged the edges of the transparency with white Stazon to add deminsion.
I used Die Cuts with A View Christmas paper and accenting each ornament with a small bow.

Altered Ornament - Sizzix Big Shot
Using the Sizzix Ball Ornament Die I created this picture Christmas Ornament. It is a great idea for the 'hard to buy for' and for the pet-lovers on your list! Just cut 20 circles using pictures of any theme or pet and glue together with the edges inward. It is a little harder to glue together but it works great!
This is a pictorial of my kitty, Callie! I also made one for my two grand-dogs. Give it a try. Stampin' Up is now selling that die for the Big Shot. These are not the best pictures and I apologize. I may try and take a few on the tree later.

My Last Wolf Card
This card turned out a little darker than I had planned but it makes another great masculine card. I used the Nature Silhoettes Stamp, embossed it as well as the saying. The card stock is Basic Black with an Eggplant Envy mat. I added a strip of Black ribbon for accent.
I promise I will start using another set! (tomorrow)

Rub-On Candle
Something a little different today! Quick and easy gift, just use the Stampin' Up rub-ons on a scented candle! Tie a bow, add a little embellishment from the Pretties Kit and VOILA'... Great teacher gift or just a rememberance for any occasion!
TIP: Before using your rub-ons, old nylon hose clean and shine any candles. The mesh hose work OK but nylon works better. It takes all the dust off and the layer of dull wax. The candle in the picture is over 6 years old so it does work!

Super Quick Card
I just wanted to make this so I would remember the 'scallop' square! Cut a 2 3/4" square, center it in the Stampin' Up Scallop Punch on all four sides and you have a neat scallop square in a square! Then cut a 1 3/4" mat and GO FOR IT!
I used one of the Hostess set stamps to make the round in the middle then cut an extra present and mounted on a pop dot for that 3D look! The corners are made using the corner punch from Stampin' Up. The paper is Afternoon Tea and much to my dismay, is discontinued but I love it anyway! Cardstock, the same, Groovy Guava & Soft Sky!
Oh yes, the pearls were cut from a strip of decorative pearls I used to decorate a mailbox for my son's wedding... love using those leftovers too!
One day maybe they will keep the Incolors longer than a year!
Have fun, until my next post,

Natures Silhouettes #2
This was made from the left over 1/2 sheet of Whisper White (see previous post). I used a 1/2 sheet and when I cut the deer off I thought... hummmmm... another card and I can use the wolf baying at the moon. The little mountain and reflection was unplanned and the bad end of the big mountains on the other card. I used Not Quite Navy for the water and ran over it with the white gel pen and 4 copper brads to adhere it to the card. It also gave me a chance to use the wolf stamp!
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time,

Uppsy Daisy
I made this quick birthday card today using Uppsy Daisy stamp set. I stamped it in Pacific Point and clear embossed it. Load your stamp with Versamark then with the color and you only have to stamp it once! The scallop was cut and dry embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities. Printed paper was the designer paper from the Level 3 hostess set.
This is a new stamp set by Stampin' Up and buying it before October 1, you will receive 15% off the retail price!
Love this new set and until next time,
