Beautiful Blogger Award
My Cyber-Friend, Cindy Blekas, honored me with a Beautiful Blogger Award! How awesome! Thank you, Cindy. Now it's my turn to name 7 things about me and pass this award on to others.
1) I am retired from the computer world - office manager, technician, ISP, a little of everything BUT I work from home. Ain't technology wonderful?
2) I love my little kitty, Callie! She is the calming force in my life.
3) I drink coffee all day but have given up 1/2 of the caffeine. What a sacrifice!
4) I babysit my newest grandson (1 year old) three days a week. Babies are amazing and that's why God made grandparents, to spoil them enjoy watching them grow up!
5) Naturally I love scrapbooking and making greeting cards or any paper projects. I find there is never enough time in a day to do all the things we want to do.
6) My hubby just underwent open heart surgery and he's bored just doing nothing but he'll have to go it anyway. I will have some punchie projects for him soon. LOL
7) I hope to live long enough to use all my Stamping Supplies and get lots of Blog Followers!
Awarding others that inspire me:
1) Becky Jensen
2) Sandi MacIver
3) Lisa Somerville
4) Ellen Kemper
The list is actually too long to honor each one that sends inspiration over the wire. I hope to improve my skills every day and find the time to make all the ideas that pop into my head as well as the many, many projects I want to create.
Until next time!

The other with Northern Hearts Hostess Stamp Set and Night of Navy with a Whisper White background and a touch of 1/8 inch taffeta ribbon. Great Stamp A Stack Cards!

I have been playing with my Copics today. I stamped these little cuties quite some time ago and finally got around to coloring them. I wanted to share these cards using Greeting Card Kids; love the stamp set. They all make such nice any occasion cards.

Thankful
I made this great centerpiece for Thanksgiving. The letters are die cut and I used Autumn Splendor for the leaves. After stamping using different colors I used my Aquapainter and colored them in. I spritzed them with the gold Smooch Spritz. The scallop squares are 3x3 from the new die in the Holiday Mini catalog.

Punchie Chair
AHHHH... my punch chair. Sneak Peek at an embellishment I made for a Scrapbook page I will be posting Friday for Stamp A Holics. Ellen Kemper once said you have to just keep looking at an object and think in 'punches'! I was so excited with this chair we purchased for my hubby for after his surgery and last night the punch idea just developed! Be sure and stop back by for the 'rest of the story'.
Until next time!

BOO
The BOO door hanging was made using 4x4 coasters. I put one on the back as well to hold the ribbon. The pumpkin was made using the new oval punch in the Holiday Mini; the ghost using the owl punch and the bat, of course, the bat punch. I did spray the black paper with shimmer in alcohol to give it a shine. These have been around for a few years but never had time to get one made! Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by.

I had to try ruffling the new waffle paper which actually turned out to be easier than I had originally thought. I hope you like it; it was a quick and easy card. Thanks for stopping by.

Stamp A Holics Challenge 138
Today's challenge (well yesterday's challenge) is brought to us by Debbie Pike which is an inspirational 10 minute challenge. Don't you just love the soft colors of the cute little ornaments! I used Early Expresso as a base color with Pretty in Pink as the mat and touches of Rich Razzleberry. The little snowman is so cute and part of a great set called Jolly Ole Staint Nick from the Holiday Stampin' Up Mini. This card can be made in 10 minutes or less!
As most of you know my hubby underwent open heart surgery Tuesday and this week has been quite hectic running to the hospital, phone calls and in general keeping up with 'anything'! I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. He is doing very well and has been moved to a room with plans to be home Monday. Thank you again.
Check out all the other DT's projects by visiting Carole' Anne's blog and remember you can enter too. Would love to see your creations.

Countdown to Christmas
On someone's post I saw a Countdown to Halloween which inspired me to make the 'countdown to Christmas'! I stamped numbers 1 - 24 and punched with 1/2 punch, adhered them to 2 packages of Trident gum! The ornaments are plastic and not SU... I then made the little holder with Real Red and Baja Breeze. The mats are from the Candy Cane Christmas DSP. Hope you like it. What a great little gift to hand out to your holiday visitors or for your kid's school treats!

Happy Fall
Quick and Easy CASE from Becky Jensen! Mine is a bit different but the same idea. I love the Autumn Harvest Stamp Set and today is the first full day of Fall even though it is going to be 94 degrees! Thanks Becky for this inspiration! I used Confetti White Paper and one of the Impression Plates from SU.
Until next time!

ETC...
Here are some things I made last week and did not post. Am off to the hospital, hubby's surgery is today!
There is a lip gloss holder! Makes a good trick or treat! I used the new waffle paper on one of the Halloween cards. And don't you just love that little snowman stamp! I used white crayon and blender pen to highlight him.
Will post again as soon as possible. Have a great day and get INKY!

Candy Cane Christmas
For this quick and easy card I used Real Red and Baja Breeze cardstock and Candy Cane Christmas DSP (120809). The new Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die (120893) was used to make the giagantic rick rack across the middle and the greeting was cut from the designer paper. Tags til Christmas Stamp set provided the Baja Breeze ornament.

Wicked
I love this new Halloween set, Wicked Cool. This is a quick card I made using the Halloween Designer Paper as a background stamped with White Craft Ink using the Wood Background. I cut out the pieces and mounted with Dimensionals.
***** Several people have asked for the tissue box cover but I have no email address for them. If you would like the template please email me privately.

Yummy, Gummy Mummy
Well actually they are skeleton's but I like 'mummy' better. The coffin was made from a die cut from Creative Cuts & More, one of our Technique Junkies sponsors. They are really cute and inexpensive! Anyway I used my black, gray & white stamp pad and ran over the gray coffin and make faux boards. The stamps are Wicked Cool (Stampin' Up). I think they are so cute. Hope to make more soon.

Christmas Tissue Holder
Deck the Halls Designer Paper is just too pretty to cover up. The tissue cover is made using Cherry Cobbler (a favorite of mine) accented with Always Artichoke. I stamped some designs from Bells & Boughs and one from Tags till Christmas to adorn the project and sprayed them with Gold Spritz. Early Expresso double bows added a nice touch. The 'jewels' are from a set I bought years ago and from my stash but it needed some glitz. Hope you like it. Would make a great teacher gift for her desk as well as at an office or home!
On a further note, this morning I published a post and had the same picture twice which I have corrected so check back to see the finished challenge.

Stamp A Holics Challenge 137
Mitzi Luttrull brought us this very unique sketch for our 10 minute challenge this week. I used the Blueberry Crisp Designer Paper matted on Sahara Sand & Pacific Point Cardstock. I added the little pearls around the edge of the scallop circle die cut. The stamp set is Razzle Dazzle (116714). I used the taffeta ribbon dyed using the SU marker Pacific Point. Hope you like it and don't forget to stop over at Carole' Anne's Blog for the rest of the team and you are welcome to join the fun.

Halloween Treat Box
The pattern for this little treat box was shared by Melanie Schulenberg. It is so cute and holds 5 Chocolate Nuggets! I wrapped them using Wicked Cool Designer Paper (3"x 7/8"). I am beginning to love the new hem tape type ribbon (black) in the mini-catalog. Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment. Oh, I also put a strip of acetate after punching with the Modern Label Punch. What 'trickster' would not love to get one of these little treat boxes on Halloween!
