Here's an oldie but goodie technique. Try it sometime, it's really fun & messy! LOL
Line a shallow pan or plastic stamp case with shaving cream, drizzle several matching colors of reinkers on top, swirl around a little - lay cardstock on top and 'pull off'. I let mine sit a few seconds before wiping the shaving cream off. It makes a great backgound. Get inky!

This looks like a lot of fun and makes a lovely background. I have the shaving cream, but haven't gotten the courage to try it ... I'm going to have to change that! Thanks for sharing.
