Clothespin Magnets

Bought these little penguins yesterday and a big box store and made these cute clothespin magnets for your refrigerator.

Happy Birthday

Pick A Pattern Designer Series Paper was used for the strips and I even lined the envelope! The card stock and ink was Emerald Envy (don't you love the color) and I stamped the base with the Marble Background stamp.

The label is from Label Me Pretty and I punched tow from the punch and made the offset! The little butterfly is retired from the Best of Butterfly collection (2015) but he is still cute. the Touch of Nature wooden embellishments are the final touch.

Seasonal Lantern

The Seasonal Lantern (framelits only) has been on my table for a while and so I decided today is the day. I do, however, regret I only ordered the Framelits (Lantern Builder 144683) and not the co-ordinating Stamp Set! So guess I better get it...

I used some DSP to make the planks for the background and I haven't added a sentiment inside.

Gift Bag

This paper is NOT Stampin Up. I wanted to try it first before using SU papers! The gift bag is made using a 12 x 12 sheet of paper with NO trimming. Don't ya love it? Bigger than most bags we make.

Add a few embellishments and PERFECT! Thanks for stopping by and sorry I didn't realize it's been so long since I posted. I have had a rough week but I'm keeping good thoughts and prayers!

Let it snow...

Saw this on one of the crafting sites and had to make one. So cute! using two round glass bowls from the Dollar Tree I coated the inside with glitter. The face is cut from vinyl and I made the paper hat.

He is just so special. You can fill the hat with peppermints or just use Mr. Snowman for a centerpiece! Thanks for stopping by and remember comments are always welcome.

Using the Reverse

The two cards were made by using the reverse from the flourish cut! The top card is white on white which I love and I used the left-over flourish cut and inked behind it for the varied look. Love using all the left overs!

Try this variation and double your fun! (two for the price of one)

Inspired

This card was inspired by a GinaK design. I have a friend that loves GinaK so I made this card so you can be inspired and get close to the design!

The base is Chocolate Chip and the mat is Soft Suede. The actual card is Very Vanilla. The moon was masked and sponged with Sahara Sand. Stamps were Lovely as a Tree (love that set) and the deer are from Nature Sings!

Don't forgot - Stampin Up has Acetate Card Boxes - 10 for $6.50 - 144628. This little box will  hold 3 finished cards with envelopes OR you can actually mail your cards in these.

The picture does not do it justice but you can also run it thru the Big Shot and emboss the front! They are especially good for those cards you tended to add LOTS of embellishments.

Deer Christmas Card

This beautiful card was made using the Bundle of Love Specialty (144143) Designer Paper for the mat. I used the Shimmering White for the base and for the oval for the Deer stamped from Merry Patterns using Gold Ink. The sentiment was from the same set. Both sentiment and deer added with Dimensionals.

I placed a silver and a gold Foil Snowflake under the deer oval and matted the deer oval on Gold Foil Paper. Love the Bundle of Love paper - it is gorgeous mixing the gold and silver and there's lots of patterns. Be sure and check it out before it's gone for good! BTW it is a heavier weight than the normal designer paper. The paper can be used for winter cards and masculine cards and of course, Christmas cards.

Perfect box

The perfect 2 x 2 box! My friend told me about this using a 6 x 6 sheet scored at 2" on all sides (bottom). The top is 3 1/16 x 3 1/16 scored on all sides at 1/2". Makes a perfect fit.

The bow is from the Bow Builder Punch. Such a cute box and a great way to use your 6 x 6 paper!

Cleaning day...

I decided today I would clean out some stuff in my craft 'stash' 'cause I'm running out of room! (most of us crafters are) Well I got side-tracked and made these of Jacob's 2nd grade class. The faces are cut from vinyl.

Mandarin Orange cups with a jake-o-lantern face on them. The jar has spoons for each child and then can be used as a decoration!

So yesterday I made these Craft Sticks  pumpkins with magnets on the back for your refrigerator! I used double sided tape on the pictures so we can change them when they dress for Halloween. A quick and easy project for any age.

Oh BTW I am still trying to clean! (LOL)

Poppy

My grand daughter, Josie Grace loves Miss Poppy and says when she grows up she wants to be Miss Poppy. I made her this card and will mail to her. I think she will love it.

I would have loved to do it for her birthday but it is long gone and too far away now to do it. She is going to be her for Halloween.

Silhouette Freebie

Silhouette features one freebie a week and this was for this week. It is so cute for a great scrapbook page. I only attached the pumpkin at the top so you can slide your pictures in for a complete page.

I cut the words and spider using vinyl. I have found that the smallest embellishments are so much easier to manage out of vinyl. Can't wait to fill it. The leaf is an old, old embossing folder and die cut from Sizzix! Of course it is all Stampin Up paper!

Featuring Jacob...

Decided to scrap a bit since it was Jake's 8th birthday. Hard to believe he has grown so much. I just am so sorry his dad won't be here to see him grow up and do things with him.

Looks like everyone had such a great time!

On Saturday, October 6 we walked for Out of the Darkness Suicide walk. The Cut-A-Thon was sponsored for the benefit of Owen's Angels (Jake's Dad). It was quite a turnout to bring awareness for families of suicide victims and ways to help anyone in crisis.

Daisy Punch Thank you.

Cute card made with 1/2 daisy punch and using the Fresh Fig classic ink and I found three buttons that are a perfect match. The mat is Tranquil Tide.

Simple but elegant. Could be a Sympathy, Happy Birthday, Thank you and just a plain ole thinking of you card.!

Miss Josie

Today was a rough day for us. We did an Out of Darkness Suicide Walk for my son, Owen. He took his life December 3, 2016. There were LOTS of people and I never realized how many families are affected by this terrible situation.

I came home and decided to scrap today rather than cards. This is Miss Josie using the Naturally Eclectic Designer paper. Not sure what this pose represents but just thought it was worth a scrap

Born to Ride

What a great masculine card. You can fix the inside to slide a gift card into OR put a sentiment. I saw it on Pinterest and didn't list the artist.

I also stamped the envelope flap with the grunge looking stamp! Love it.

Another Pre-printed Base Card

Another card I made with one of the pre-printed bases my friend gave me. I used Garden Green for the quilt frame work, Lemon Lime for the edging and Painted Autumn Designer Paper. Inside can be used for almost any sentiment or write your own note.

It attractive and the accents are from the glitter dots!

These supplies were given to me by my stampin’ friend. The paper & Stamp is not SU but still pretty. The paper is from a stack that is already scored for a card. Love the new Stampin Up Snowflakes coming in silver and gold!
