This is a 12 x 12 layout and I know it hard to read on the scan - You're Awesome, Perfect, Pretty, Beautiful, Gorgeous.  I love the cut-out which I did on my Silhoutte. Hope you like it.

Petal Palette

I made this card using Stampin Up's Petal Palette on watercolor paper colored with SU's Blends. This also has a set of matching Framelits!

The card base is Rich Razzleberry matted with Perfect Plum & Wisteria Wonder. The little bird clip is retired. The sentiment is also in the Petal Palette. There are a lot of says in that set as well as a beautiful butterfly!

Enjoy the sunshine today. My cell Phone says its 16° so I'm not sure what it is trying to tell me!

Easter Scrapbook Pages - Bunny Business

These are the two pages our Scrapbook Club will be doing for April. There is room for 3 - 4 x 6 pictures and 3 - 4 x 4 pictures.

Since Stampin Up has limited their 12 x 12 colors each one will be different - pink, yellow, lavender, etc. AND I glued the letters in Business too close so we can correct that on the one you make. We have Scrapbooking every first Friday of the month so if you are interested in coming please let me know. (Kits Available too) (Two 12x12 pages and a page protector)

Next try...

See yesterday's post! I made this card and it turned out pretty good so I am going to practice watercoloring images.

This tri-fold card was made using the Cozy Cottage Stamp Set. There is plenty of room for a note inside and signature, etc. The first image is the folded card and I opened it up so you could see how it as cut.

Tri-Fold card

I know, it's a Gina K Stamp but I wanted to try this tri-fold card and watercolor it. Please ignore the extra black spots - two reasons - I can never work on white without doing that and my scanner glass needs cleaning. You get the idea.

The first picture is the card opened to the middle. I think I can do a better job on it next time. I colored it using ink and a brush. Gotta run and clean my scanner!

Tranquil Tide

This card is stamped with Tranquil Tide with the beautiful Sale A Bration stamp set Heartfelt Bloom. Love it for a Sympathy card or Birthday, etc. Tranquil Tide is the base with images on Whisper White.

It was really a quick and easy card and don't you love how the Stamparatus enables you to make you images crisp and if you miss a spot you can re-stamp knowing it will be in the right place!

Beautiful Foil Card

Love this new Springtime Foil Speciality Designer Paper. I used the brushed copper paper (retired from SU) for the strips.

The scan does not do it justice but it is beautiful in real life. I cut the flower from another sheet from that same Designer Paper pack. Adhered the flower with Dimensionals and the sides directly to a Whisper White base. Very Classy!

Snow Day

Jacob and Scarlett playing outside during their Snow Day! They love it and even Chopper got in on the action.

I used my Big Shot and the Snowflake die to cut the flakes from photo paper so they shine. Cucumber Crisp is the matting for the pictures. Each snowflake has a crystal acrylic dot.

'Ugly' Card

This has to be the ugly-ist card I have ever made. I was (as usual) trying to use things I found on my table while 'trying' to clean up.

Humpback Bridge

The old Humpback Bridge in Covington VA is the theme of this layout! Tim and Josie are taking a lazy afternoon walk.

I was trying for a vintage look. I used texture paste for the foreground with some of the new Brusho pigment from Stampin Up. The baby embroidery hoop is an embellishment from Stampin Up... it is so cute.

A different color!

It's funny how just changing colors, changes the whole personality of a card. (see yesterday's post)

I used Lemon Lime Twist as the base of the card and some new Designer Paper. I cut the leaves using Vintage Leaves Framelits. Its more spring-y than the other card. I used three glitter dots on the circle to accent it.

Wooden Card

Love this combination! I think this will be one of our Stamp A Stack Cards for April. The wood paper is from a recent paper stack. The base is Early Espresso and the Wooden strips were embossed with the new Plank embossing folder on Very Vanilla.

Bow is brown baker's twine with some cut leaves from the Colorful Seasons Framelits. Espresso circle and Very Vanilla circle was cut using the stitched circles and accented with three candy dots (retired)! Hope you like it.

Gone with the wind...

Last week or so we had a huge wind storm. Lots of powerful gusts of wind. A tree fell on my friend's house so I made her this scrapbook page.

It's on Crumb Cake with Chocolate Chip scallops. I hope she likes it. Page two has room for 2 - 4 x 6 and 2 - 4 x 4 pictures.

I made this page for a friend of mine. I hope she likes it. I cut the mats for the photos with my Silhouette Curio and the Marine and emblem with the Scan N Cut.

There's room for two 4 x 6 photos and a box for Journaling or a small photo.

Thankful...

This card was made using a triple layer design. You cut and put together the three pieces with removable tape; stamp you images. Take apart and mat and re-adhere.

The base is Wisteria Wonder with the mats being Elegant Eggplant. We might do this card at our next stamp a stack with a few improvements. I forgot and made an artistic decision - I sponged it AFTER I glued it but it should l have been done first.

Chuck E Cheese

Jake at Chuck E. Cheese in Roanoke having a great time. I am not sure who 'flat Stanley' is or represents but he had him everywhere and even made a poster for school.

Miss Josie - OUCH!

Miss Josie had an 'accident' at daycare! She went down the slide ok but the tiles at the bottom caught her foot and viola' ... big OUCH!

She's all better now but I know she hurt when it happened! Poor Baby!

Daffodil Delight is the base with a Lemon Lime mat then a Tranquil Tide mat embossing with the new folder.

The butterfly framelit and the sentiment was cut using glitter paper. I stamped then punched the Daisy (two layers). Using the leaf punch I added two leave sets out of Vellum.

Beautiful Butterfly

Love this card... using the butterfly framelit cut it from Daffodil Delight. Adhere it only thru the body and fold up the wings.

I stamped some flower images on the yellow mat. The mat underneath the butterfly is Night of Navy (looks Black on the scan) Anywho... it is quite attractive in real life. Hope you like it.

Pandas!

Basic Black is the base for this cute card. I stamped a panda three times on Whisper White; punched with 1 1/4 square punch and the Basic Black mat with the 1 3/8 square punch. Island Indigo is the mat.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I love that set, a sentiment for everything and a must have.

Just dunk me...

Miss Scarlett eating an Oreo. Just like all kids she is really into it! Still is - they seem to love the inside but not so much the cookie part.

Hope you enjoy the scrapbook pages. Sometimes I have to stop card-making and do a page! I usually print the images and cut them with my Scan N' Cut (which I really love - no more fussy cuts)!

Brusho

Yep, Stampin Up has a new product call Brusho. This card was made using it. It is pure color pigment and you use very little. A jar will last you a long, long time! It can resemble watercolor and makes beautiful backgrounds. Comes in 5 colors. Check it out! (Stampin Up's Occasion Catalog)

Watercolor paper or Stampin Up's Shimmering White are the best to use with it - just add water. I made this card using Sale A Bration Epic Celebrations and Prussian Blue Brusho! I am going to play with it some more for different effects.

The scan does not do this card justice. The base is Eggplant Envy, matted with silver and again using the Springtime Foils Specialty Paper (FREE from Sale-A-Brations). The stamp set is Hold on to Hope and I used the matching Framelits to cut the cross from silver paper topped by the gold paper.

The sentiment is from the Hold on to Hope and there is a framelit for that too!

This card can be used for Easter, Sympathy, Get Well, Thinking of you and more. I love the combination and the Foil papers!
