Distressed Faux Metal

Saw this on a video (Tammy White) so I thought I'd try it. It is a simple to do and represents Faux Distressed Metal using the Waterfront Stamp Set featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Basic Black is the base with Gold as the mat. I ran the open Archival Basic Black Ink over the gold to distress it. The Scene is on Crumb Cake. The saying says Every Little Kindness makes the World A Brighter Place. The words did not emboss well so next time I should use bigger words.

Makes an interesting card and great for a masculine card.
