Tri-Fold Shutter Card

I saw a Tri-Fold Shutter card on my friend's blog (Regina) so I had to make one. We did these also in Technique Junkies.

I added a matching envelope and added the acrylic dots for accent. The stamp set is one of the 'season's' in Blended Seasons which will premiere in the Holiday Mini - coming soon!

Sunset

This card did not turn out exactly how I wanted but it is 'passable'. One thing I can't figure out how everyone accents with white gel pen and it looks great and I do it and it looks terrible!

One mistake I made this is on watercolor paper and I should have used regular paper. I sponged the sky and mountains. The stamp set is the ole standby, Lovely as a Tree. It kinda 'grows' on ya!

Postcard Pals

This is the cutest stamp set with 3 funny 'animals'. Even kids would love this card.

The little critter is so cute and so nice to color. The card base is Tranquil Tide and the sentiment was in the Postcard Pal stamp set.

Fun in the Sun

Jake, Scarlett & Kelly enjoying the weather at the beach - Ocean Lakes Campground at Myrtle Beach, SC. The kids are having a ball!

Looks like fun and hopefully the rain will stay away! Scarlett is not afraid of anything and is learning to swim and seems to be doing well at it. They just grow up too fast.

Flower Calendar

We'll be making the 2019 Refrigerator Magnet Calendar Saturday which is detailed for each month. I did this one using the set In Every Season. It's not real fancy but great gift for the flower lover.

I did it mainly for a quick gift and easy to do. Oh and I used the doilies cut in half as the background over the color I stamped using the Love What You Do set. Hope you like it.

Loyal and True

What a great set for any of our military and first responders!

I used three layers of paper - Night of Navy is the base; the star paper is not SU; Whisper White and Real Red. After stamping the soldier in Basic Black - he is fussy cut and adhered with Dimensionals. I used the Blends to color the acrylic stars red (they were pink) and the sentiment is on Dimensionals too.

The Real Red is embossed with the Stars embossing folder.

From the Heart...

Coastal Cabana was first embossed with the new Stampin Up Tufted Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder. I added a section of the Tea Party Designer Paper and added punched flowers using the Small Flower Punch and the 3-leaf punch accented with the Mint Macaron faceted stone!

The swatch of Tea Party was adhered with Dimensionals but the copper thread was added first!
The sentiment is from the Petal Palette stamp set.  Enjoy! BTW I love the new embossing folder!

Lilly Pad Lake with Lakeside Framelits

These are the sample cards I made for the Stamp of the Month which was on July 24! They are really nice cards. Most were CASE'd from Pinterest or somewhere on the Internet. What would we do without it!

The set is very versatile and can be made to utilize lots of greetings and it even has child appeal!

July InColor of the Month

Our InColor club members will be receiving this card to get their creative juices flowing. I did not add a sentiment so it can be used for many occasions.

It features the new InColor Blueberry Bushel and the matching Designer Paper. I used the left-over to decorate the envelope! The new Delicate Lace Framelits accents the middle of the card lined with the Blueberry Bushel matching ribbon. The Whisper White added to the inside has a bottom strip using one of the Stitched Lace Framelits. It looks like it was stitched across the bottom!

Peaceful Place

The stamp set is the new Peaceful Place (146689). It is such a beautiful scene and yes, peaceful! Black and white makes the image pop and black and white makes such a classy card. The corner punch (retired) with black faceted stones add accent.

Next one I am going to color with the new Stampin Up colored pencil set. Great quick and easy card and can be masculine, birthday, sympathy and more.

Beautiful You

This card features a Beautiful You image. I colored her with the lightest Pool Party Blends. Just to be honest, I picked up those two papers off my able and have no idea what color they are but they sure matched perfectly.

I cut the beautiful edging with the Lacey Edges Framelits. It is so perfect for this card. I barely colored the background with the SU Colored Pencils but I like it. Thanks for stopping by today.

Completely CASE'd

Another card I saw online and fell in love with it. I even had to borrow the In the Meadow stamp set to make it. I had that set and sold it. Everytime I sell one I end up being sorry. LOL

This was an 'experiment' and I will try and make it over. I have ordered some white Gelly Pens since they were the highest recommended online I could find. I have never had much luck with the Signo Gel Pens. So when they come in, I will try this card again. The original was much more striking.

Great masculine card as well as sympathy and birthday.

I saw this card on the Internet and decided to try it. We made this fold in Technique Junkies and was so fun. It can be used for a note card since there is a large insert to write a note. Also can be used as a Thank You which is shown here and you can even tuck a gift card in the fold.

This is the Do What You Love stamp set and Designer paper with a Rich Razzleberry base and Crumb Cake mat. Hope you will try one.

Dear Friend

This Marina Mist card is a simple card, one layer and a little decoration. I used the two Stitched Labels along the bottom of the card and two candy dots for accent. (If I find the flower, I'll post for you.)

The flower is from a last year's stamp set and it has been so long since I stamped it, I forgot the name of it. I found it in my stash while looking for another sheet of paper. (I need to get organized). It makes a great note card. I added more accent lines in Basic Black and cross-hatching around the flower. Then I added some white pastel pencil to show off the flower! Makes a lovely card.

Hello

I used two of the new papers from Stampin Up; Shaded Spruce and Soft Sea Foam. The mat paper came from the Garden Impressions Paper Stack. There some beautiful papers in that collection.

The stamp I used is from Flourished Phrases and punched with the Washi Tape punch and a rhinestone to accent. The flowers are from the set, Very Vintage which you can get FREE as a Hostess Set. I cut them with the Stitched Oval and back by the Oval Collection.

Just a Note

The perfect Just a Note (Flourishing Phrases) card. The base of this card is Poppy Parade that Stampin Up brought back into the Brights collection. I had this ribbon left over from the first Poppy Parade run.

The first mat is stamped with the BG stamp Sheet Music. The guitar is from Sale-a-Brations (retired) BUT there is a set in the new catalog that has a guitar. I found this one on my table so had to use it! LOL

Very Vanilla sets this card off and black for borders. I used the Timeless Textures to accent the guitar and then added a stamp to the envelope!

Printed with Love (retired)

Beautiful You Stamp Set was the main theme of this card. The mat is from Painted with Love (retired) Designer Paper and the base is Mambo Melon.

The lady was cut and attached with Dimensionals over the cut-out image and mounted on a piece of Calypso Coral. Her dress was colored with the Calypso Coral Blends.

Bee Thankful

Such a cute little bee! This Thank You card was so easy to make. BUT I do suggest if you color the word use a fine point on a Stampin Up Marker. It turned out ok using the blends.

I have found that the two Blends that go together, the lighter one is not light enough and too close to the dark color. (That may just be me)

The base is Cherry Cobbler as well as the blends I used on the letters.

Animal Outing

Using two of Stampin Up's new colors, Shaded Spruce & Soft Sea Foam I made this Animal Outing card. It's great for masuline, juvie and for lots of occasions.

I used the Falling Leaves Embossing Folder and colored the image with SU Blends. The stamp set has a giraffe and kangaroo and more sentiments. This is going to be one of our Stamp A Stack Cards on July 21!

Ole Stand By!

Lovely as a Tree is my favorite tree stamp and has been around for a while. The mighty oak was stamped on this card and colored with Tranquil Tide and Lemon-Lime Twist.

The base is Chocolate Chip and the first mat is Soft Suede, finishing with Crumb Cake. The first layer is embossed with the Plank Embossing Folder! Thanks for stopping by!
