Wreath Builder

Again  another Gina K stamp set and template. It is the wreath builder set. It is so easy to take small images and make a wreath.

The DSP is Country Home and fits the wreath well. I used sparkling acrylics for accents on the wreath.

Elk Hunter

This makes a great card for the hunter in your life or masculine and basically for any occasion.

The card base is Natural Ivory (retired) with a soft suede mat and a snippit from the retired Gone Wild Vellum Papers.

The elk is stamped with Soft Suede and mounted on an additional mat with Dimensionals. One small Candy Dot (retired) accents the picture.

Ginger Bread Men

Love the cookie cutter punch and the little stamps that go with it. They were stamped on Very Vanilla and punched with the Cookie Cutter punch.

The Ginger Bread Men were stamped with Soft Suede and adhered with Dimensionals. The base is Cherry Cobbler with mats of Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler.

Could be Christmas or a juvie birthday, Get Well and various occasions.

Lovely As a Tree

Lovely as a Tree is still going strong. I love the set and this little tree makes a great loan picture.

The base is Pool Party as well as the mat behind the tree and they colors go very well with the DSP.

Vertical Card (stretch)

The Night Owl stamp set contributed to the invention of this card. The top layer is embossed with the Tree embossing folder. The owl, branch and flourish are from the matching framelits.

Then the card pulls down to be long and vertical. Great idea! My cyber friend 'made' me make this!

Merry Christmas

Call Me Clover is the base of this quick and easy Christmas Card. I used the Peaceful Poinsettia Bundle to create this card. I had some older, retired Natural Ivory cardstock and I used that for the mat and on the inside of the card.

This is a great bundle and has some gorgeous holly in it (stamps & Framelits). Acrylic dots and bow are for accent. Oh and the front of the card is adhered on Dimensionals!

Scarecrow

Our punch card number two for our November punchie class. I just love this scarecrow and thanks to Alex's Creative Corner for publishing it.

This is and 6 x 6 card with an extra large envelope. The envelope is the background in this picture. The scarecrow is on the Baby Blue Scallop. Great Juvie card or Thanksgiving or any Fall occasion.

Tickled Pink

This cute little flamingo was inspired by my daughter's team at work that she named the 'Flamingos'.
The card base is Granny Apple Green with Tranquil Tide mats. The back mat is the matching Designer Paper Tropical Escape (146916)

The stamp set is Fabulous Flamingo (143758). I accented with acrylic dots!

Noel

Tranquil Tide is the base for this card with a Real Red Rectangle frame embossed with the Joy & Noel stamp set (147839). The set is inexpensive and they so much fun to color!

This whole card was made from scraps on my desk! I just can't make me clean without finding stuff to complete. BUT that is much more fun to do.

The Red Framelit has been embossed using the Tufted Embossing Folder (146335). I then added pearls to accent.

Gift Card Holder

Signs of Santa is the focal point of this cute gift card holder. I used the Signs of Santa Stamp Set to stamp the sentiments and the matching Framelits and Designer Paper to cut the Mrs. Santa!

The Santa Designer Paper has flocked red lines on the diagonal strips and flocked on Mrs. Clauses' apron! The paper is just too cute and as an added bonus the matching framelits match lots of designs on the paper so all you have to do is cut! OR if you run out of paper the stamps are in the Signs of Santa stamp set and you can color with Blends.

Deck the Halls

All is Bright is the beautiful designer paper that is the main focus of this card. It is mounted on a mat of Shimmer White, then a mat of Gold paper and the card base is Shimmer White.

The ribbon is retired but fits perfectly with the gold and white mixture.

Friendship

This card, I must admit, is a GinaK stamp. I love the wheat and the saying so I wanted to share.

I also stamped the greeting on the edge of the envelope. The base is Basic Black with a Gold Paper mat and another Basic Black mat.

Holy Night

Blackberry Bliss is the card base as well as the die cut village. I used an actual page from the hymnal for the mat and a Highland Heather embossed with the Woodland Embossing Folder.

A strand of Baker's Twine and punched star adds a nice finishing touch.

Silent Night

This card has a brayered background starting on one end with Night of Navy and the other end of the card with Rich Razzelberry.

Dots of White gel pen makes the falling snow. A small piece of torn Whisper White finishes off the bottom edge. I used Shimmer Paper and it adds to the theme.

Country Living

I love this stamp set from the Occasions Mini - changing sentiments will give you lots of use from this set. (Homemade Kindness)

It didn't turn out as I originally planned but I still like it. Wouldn't you love a stove like that today? Only issue would be keeping it stocked with wood!

Halloween cards

These are two Halloween themed cards I made the other day. I love the Halloween Designer Paper in the new mini occasion catalog.

The top card is well-embellished with baker's twine and a wooden leaf accent. I stamped the witches' hat and then colored and I love the idea that you can color the crystal embellishments with SU Blends.

The second card has a black cat punch - on Dimensionals.  Happy Halloween

Wood Words

I used the Buffalo Background stamped in Real Red and cut in strips. The mat is embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder. You can't see on a scan or picture the actual texture of the folder but it is neat. It makes ordinary paper look like textured.

The card base is Crumb Cake. I stamped the Wood Words Rooster on Very Vanilla and cut with the small stitched circle die. The sentiment was also in the Wood Words stamp set. For accent I tied a bow with linen thread. I love the color combination.

Lemon Zest

The inside of the card reads Live it with Zest! The background is the new Stampin Up Buffalo Check BG stamp.

The lemon and slice was adhered with Dimensionals! I stamped the BG stamp over So Saffron with Crushed Curry. I love cards that have fruit on them. You will love that Background stamp and can be used lots of ways. One more will follow tomorrow.

Santa is cooking!

This cute little So Santa set is perfect for those comical cards. Three cute images and lots of great sayings are included.

I did not put a sentiment on the outside but will include one when I decide who gets this cute card. I added five acrylic stars and a die cut from the Dashing Deer as trim.

Another find...

Looking through some stuff to trash I found this Night of Navy mat with the printed paper on it from a scrapbook page I made a long time ago. This piece was extra. Therefore, I finally had to make a card.

I added the acrylic hearts, white doilie and sentiment. I cut the pen and colored it with SU Blends. The pen and sentiment is adhered with Dimensionals.

Falling Leaves

The leaves were stamped using the Blended Seasons and colored with Stampin Up Blends. I cut the branch and the additional leave for accent. The greeting is from the Rooted in Nature set.

It can easily be a Thinking of you card, masculine card, fall card or retirement, birthday... possibilities are endless. It's like a Generic Card! I love the leaves and fall so it was a good combination.

Tri-Fold Deer Card

Well I wanted to try this technique sent to me by one of my stampin' friends. I cut and made the tri-fold card and wanted to decorate with only the deer framelits. I looked for over two hours and I can't find my deer dies. I have looked thru, over and under everything. O well so I just used other sets.

It folds to an A2 size and fits the envelope. I did add a strip of Designer Paper to the back of the envelope flap. I guess I'll hv to order another deer die set. Ugh!

Dashing Deer

Merry Merlot is the base for this one tone card. The mat was embossed with the new Tile Embossing Folder. I ran over it quickly and lightly with Gold Ink Pad. The deer is die cut from Gold Glimmer paper.

Merry Christmas was stamped from the Blended Seasons stamp set. The colors are so pretty and compliment each other nicely. You will have to try and Dashing deer Thinlets.
