This card is a bit different but love it. The base is Granny Apple Green with the Bird themed designer paper. It fits a regular envelope.

The die cut is from the wrap around dies with a sentiment stamped in Calypso Coral. I fussy cut the sprig of flowers on the inside and out. There is plenty of room for a sentiment and/or a small note.

Embroidery Hoops

Does anyone remember the little embroidery hoops Stampin Up had in the last catalog? Well I have a new Embroidery Machine and made these for small tree ornaments.

I carefully glued them to the back since the hoop is only one layer and then glued a red circle over that. They turned out really cute combining two hobbies.

Miss Josie's Blanket

I embroidered this a few days ago and when I un-hooped it, there was a chunk of towel sewn into the design so I had to cut it out. Then I decided it would make a nice picture with enough towel to make a hanging hand towel.

Tea Time

Miss Josie at the G.A. Lottie Moon Tea Party at Clifford Baptist Church. Such a great fellowship.

I used Basic Gray for the background and a printed sheet of roses for the mat. The Tea Pot and Cup is from the tea set (Stampin' Up). In fact it is a recycled greeting card I made a few months ago. BUT hit the mark.

The kids loved it.

Table Scraps

I tried cleaning off my craft table and found these cute gingerbread men and both scraps of paper. So I combined it all for a new Christmas Card.

Shaded Spruce is the card base with a scrap of the Plaid Paper Stack. I embossed the top scrap with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder. The beads are colored with the red Blend pen.

Another recycled tag

Here's another label I found that made a beautiful Christmas Card. I used 1/2 and 1/2 piece of paper from the Foil 6 x 6 foil collection.

The tag is Night of Navy and the house was cut from one of the dies. I glittered the snow!

Recycling old stash

Some time ago I made lots of labels for presents and never used them. So I was sitting here trying to come up with some new cards and saw those labels. Viola' use them on cards. I did make 5 new cards recycling the labels. Here's the first one...

I think it made a better card that tag. Love it and the plaid designer paper just fits!

Miss Josie - The Carpenter

Our church, Clifford Baptist sponsored a Manger building outing for Dads, Grandpas and children to build mangers. Over 57 kids participated and it was a blessing to all.

Miss Josie and her dad, Tim built their manger. Looks like she did pretty good!

Garden Shed

Totally love this shed/stamp set. The base is Espresso with a Soft Suede mat and the images are stamped on Very Vanilla.

Simple but stunning. The Very Vanilla was distressed just slightly around the edges. The inside has a stamped image and greeting. To finish it off, I stamped the envelope. All images are contained in this one set.

Great card for retirement, birthday, get well, just a note card, thank you and in general, any occasion you chose.

Any Occasion Card

Very Vanilla CardStock is the base for this lovely copper enhanced card. The 1st mat is embossed with the Tin Tile Embossing folder. The next layer is the Copper Card Stock (retired from long ago) with a Very Vanilla image layer.

The image is from Country Home Stamp Set - stamped in Copper Ink. The speciality Copper bow is for accent and pulling the whole card together.

It can be used for Birthday (even masculine); Get Well, Sympathy, Note Card or a card for any occasion.

Buckle Card

This card was cut from Whisper White with Balmy Blue mats and Feels Like Frost Designer Paper. There is plenty of room inside to write a message.

The slot for the buckle was punched by the label punch. Such a cute design.

50's Dance

The 50's Daddy/Daughter Dance at Temple Christian School - October 18, 2019. Miss Scarlett has really nailed it.

All the kids were so cute and dressed up! I am finally getting some scrapping done. I am so far behind.

Tiny Ornaments

Stampin Up had these tiny embroidery hoops in the last year's catalog and I had them left over. I found a cardinal pattern small enough to fit. I glued the hoop on the front of the design and cut close around the hoop and added a hanger string. Makes a neat ornament!

Santa's Car

Made this today on a dish towel. Love these RED vehicle designs. It is such fun to embroidery and see the result.

D.A.R.E. School Program

This is Jake's graduation from the D.A.R.E. program at school. (Temple Christian)  It is good to teach the kids at a young age. Jake is in the 4th grade which gives them an insight as to what will happen with drugs and alcohol.

Sheriff E.W. Viar presented a great program followed by the School Security Officer. He then handed out the diplomas. Great example!

Masculine Card

This 5 x 7 card is great for any masculine occasion. I used a piece of chipboard for the base and covered both sides with the same paper the envelope is made of. I also love the stamp set, Rustic Retreat.

All images are from the same set. I used a piece of vellum (retired) as well as the black DSP I used for the mats. I stamped the envelope to match the theme of the card.

Blue Jay Conversion

The Christmas Cardinal is now a Spring or Summer Blue Jay. Would make a great note card or masculine card. The mat is Whisper White embossed with the Poplar Tree embossing folder.

This is a 'salvage' card. The trees are embossed backward because the front got messed up and I couldn't use it. (Always recycle when you can)

He is regal looking bird! I saw this on another blog and couldn't wait to try it out.

Three Deer

This white on white card is striking. Three deer cut with a framelit and added using Dimensionals. I added a gold thread leash and a sprig of holly set the tone.

The mat was run thru the Big Shot using the Falling Snow Embossing folder. And of course, Rudolph has the big red nose!

Thinking of You

This card can be used for a masculine card, birthday, sympathy, note card or illness. The mat was embossed with the plank embossing folder. The main images are from the Crafting Forever stamp set stamped with Pacific Point. Two acrylic dots add accent.

I stamped the front of the envelope as well.  The sentiment is from Good Morning Magnolia but you can add any one that suits your card needs.
