Back on your Feet

Back on Your Feet is the name of this cute stamp set! It has a turtle and a sloth and fitting sentiments! The animals would make great kids cards too.

The base is Granny Apple Green with Crush Curry nat. I used some retired Designer Series paper for the 2nd mat but it fit so well. Hope you like it. Please send some love (comments).

Over the Moon

Over the moon are the images used on this card. I found this over-sized template card while searching for something else and decided to make it up. It is 5 x 7.5 but works for this one.

The yellow designer paper is long retired and I cut a small piece so it would show under the scallops. Funny, I had 8 yellow pearls so I colored the  middle one with Daffodil Blends. The sky and grass was brushed in using a cosmetic brush.

I think the cows are so very cute!

Minnie Mouse

'Princess' Scarlett in her Minnie Mouse shirt getting ready for school. She is a mess and loves Minnie!

I was really discouraged with this page. Yesterday while going thru my tons of paper, I found the perfect Mouse paper that I did not even realize I had! Well today...I can't find it so I finally decided to go ahead and make the page without it. Will probably be able to use it in the future if I ever find it.

Nature's Beauty

The card base is Mossy Meadow with a Whisper White mat stamped with the stamp set, Waterfront. I stamped the fox from a new set in the Mini-Occasion's catalog - Nature's Beauty! It is a great masculine stamp set.

As you will notice, I did not put a sentiment. I have been leaving that especially if it can be used for more than one occasion! The Fox was colored with Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze Blends. I do, however, wish I had used the trees from the Nature's Beauty set. (next one)

Home to Roost

Home to Roost (retired) was a Sale-A-Bration free stamp set. I found this already cut and stamped so I decided to go ahead and make a card. The paper is retired too and it was so long ago I don't know the name of it. I kinda resembles Tranquil Tide.

I used the new Frosted Frames Framelits except I did cut off the snowflakes so it was not so wintery looking. The Chicken Wire Background was stamped on Crumb Cake and then distressed! The rooster was colored using the Blends.

Panda Bears

As you all may have noticed, I have been going thru my 'stash' and I found this card cut out I received when I was with a design group! It is a cute idea and easy to duplicate.

It's an extra large tag shape. I wanted to try the new dies I received - Frosted Frames. I used Blends to color the bears and used Dimensionals to adhere to the frame. The paper is retired a long time ago.

I also embossed the card front with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder and a sprig of ribbon finishes him off!

Free as a Bird

The stamp set used is Free as a Bird. This is a must have set and very versatile for many occasions. The matching Designer Series paper is gorgeous!

The frame was made using the Heirloom 3D Frames. I stamped the Whisper White mat and colored the birds on it. Then I cut the flowers from the designer paper and added them around the frame. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty phrases stamped on the label punch (retired). The card base is Daffodil Delight and I used a smaller piece for the mat and embossed it with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder.

Merry Moose

The new Merry Moose stamp set is the focal point for this card. I stamped the moose with Memento Ink using the Stamp-A-Ratus. You will find that the Stamp-a-ratus comes in handy when stamping especially solid images. I think I stamped him 3 times before getting solid coverage.

The moose was then cut with the Brother Scan'n'Cut! (Love that machine) I used make-up brushes to color the sky and torn paper for the snow. The trees and sayings are all from the Merry Moose Stamp Set. Great for a masculine Christmas card OR you could make it a masculine birthday card; just change sentiments.

Cuckoo For You

This set is so cute and has lots of add-ons to make the card any occasion! It is also an interactive set. I did not use that feature on this card but plan to do so soon.

The base is Cherry Cobbler with a 6 x 6 designer stack as the mat (retired)! It is wood grain so I ran it thru the Big Shot with the Plank Embossing Folder to give it texture. I also colored the rhinestone with the Cherry Cobbler Blends!

Nature's Beauty

Another Sneak Peek from the new Mini-Occasion Catalog. It has a deer, bunny & fox stamp and is the perfect set for masculine cards

I made lots of mistakes on this card but it turned out ok. The deer is stamped and colored directly on the card and I didn't care for the colors so.... I colored another one and cute it out and used Dimensionals to adhere him (or her). The trees are also in the set. Then the corners looked so empty so I added the 3 acrylic dots and the wooden leaves as accent.

Oh and if you color outside the lines (which I sometimes do) and the Blender pen does not get it all out you can add the dotted background. I think I should have added more colors but this one served its purpose.

'Turkey' Day

While looking thru a box of 'stuff' I found this backing for a Thanksgiving card we made years ago at Stamp A Stack. It was different but I had just colored the turkey from the set 'Birds of a Feather' in the new Mini-Occasions Catalog. So Voila'

The base is retired Dijon with a Cajun Craze mat. The printed paper is from the 'big box store'. BUT the rest is Stampin Up. I love those little guys from the Birds of a Feather and I know you will too!

Another Magnolia

I am beginning to love this set more and more! The base is Petal Pink and the mat is scalloped at the bottom using one of the Framelits that come with the set.

Since this card can be used for so many occasions, I did not add the sentiment until I need it! You could use for a sympathy card, birthday card, get well card or note card. I cut the single magnolia bloom and added it to the inside of the card.

Good Morning Magnolia

This card was made using the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set stamped on Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards and Envelopes. You get 20 cards, 20 envelopes and 20 envelope liners. LOVE IT… I used the SU pencils to color and magnolias since the Blends bleed thru. It was so quick and easy for such an elegant card that can be used for sympathy, birthday, note card, etc.

I love the way it turned out. I also stamped the envelope flap outside and the back bottom of the card. I do need to add my personal stamp! It's a must have set!

Christmas Cardinal (sneak peek)

This card was made using the Toile Christmas Bundle. It is a MUST have! The printed paper mat is from the NEW Wrapped in Plaid 6 x 6 paper stack. It is a great assortment for your Christmas card making! These are in the new Occasions mini available September 4.

The card base is Cherry Cobbler and the cardinal was colored with the Blends Cherry Cobbler. There is also a verse for the inside in the Toile Christmas stamp set.  Our state bird is the cardinal so I can use this stamp through out the year for masculine birthday cards or retirement or get well.

Copper!

Using the NEW Delicata Celestial Copper, I spread it over the Stripped Embossing Folder. It has a great sheen/shine to it (can't really tell on the scan.

You can tell I am a papr Hoarder! The copper mat paper is from some of the very first papers I got from Stampin Up. I used copper cording for the accent and dangled a copper pine cone from the top; even lined the envelope to match!

The Delicata ink comes in Gold, Silver & Copper and featured in the new Occasions mini you will be seeing soon. It starts September 4. There are loads of new stuff and I know you'll love it all!

Trip To King's Dominion

Jake, Scarlett, Mom and Steve took a day trip to King's Dominion. It was such a fun day and the kids had grown enough to ride rides they were too small for last trip!

The base is Old Olive with several scraps of retired designer paper. What a great memory!

Disney's Frozen

Princess Scarlett attended the presentation at Caterpillar Clubhouse of Disney's Frozen with her mom on her mom's birthday!

Bandit - RIP

I just ran across this page I made in June for my daughter's dog, Bandit. He was over 15 years old but has gone to doggie heaven.

Merry Christmas

This card has a few features: It is a gate-fold card and retired Designer Paper for the mats on each 'door'. Looking closely the Designer paper has been embossed with the Hammered Metal Folder.

If you pick up their feet you open the card and inside is a sentiment. By the same token I thought about putting a small envelope (attached) and use it for a gift card - an All-in-One - greeting and gift!

Happy Halloween

This little character is from the new Holiday Mini coming SOON! Birds of a Feather has 4 mini-characters that you will surely love.

It's a bit early for Halloween but ... I used some retired Designer Paper and it only takes 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 so you can make 4 cards from one sheet. I colored the little duckling with my SU Blends.

Remember it does fold flat for mailing in a regular envelope! Happy Stampin...

Free as a Bird

This card is made using only a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 sheet of card stock! BUT it folds flat to mail in a regular envelope.

I made a matching envelope for a little pizazz! The Free as a Bird stamp set is going to be a very popular one and it is cute when matching it with the matching Designer Paper.

This is the open card! Too cute! I really do like these birds. It's such a happy, cheerful paper.
