Good Mornin:

    I can not believe it has been since July that I posted. Life has been too busy BUT I have been able to embroider some and make a few cards.

As some of you may know, I have dropped out of Stampin' Up. Covid has basically added to this decision. I have been with them for over 15 years (unbelievable) and I will miss all the interaction. I do plan on making more cards along the way.

Today I have been embroidering some and plan on cleaning house (YUK) too. I made these two towels today and love the pumpkins.

The design is from Apex Embroidery and towels from Walmart. I really enjoy sewing and using new designs.

I hope to post more in the future and not be so neglectful.

Male Card

I made this card especially for the men in your life. The base is Crushed Curry and the Designer Paper is 6x6 pad Classic Garage. The DSP is retired but I still have some in my stash.

The mat for the greeting is Tranquil Tide. I dotted around the edge just to give it some accent. On the inside I used the back side of the paper to add more color and stamped the greeting on Whisper White CardStock.

I know it has been a long time posting and hopefully I will get back in the swing.  Stay COOL.

Things I have been working on...

I have been busy embroidering, reading and some estate issues (for a friend). Anyway I hope to get some cards made soon and if  you go to my blog on the right sidebar is a link to the new 2021-2022 catalog... some really cool stuff AND you may order starting now!

First some Bee Mug rugs, next a few free standing butterflies (would be cute to put in your potted plants around the house) and a Shark for Jake. The third one are some flour sack towels for your kitchen and lastly two hand sanitizers for Josie and Scarlett.

I simply love all the designs you can get to embroider.

Yard Flag

This was made on a $1.00 placemat from $-Tree. I did take the back off and since I had used one of these before and it puckered so bad, I used Wonder-Under and put a piece of canvas on the back of the top fabric and it turned out so much better.

This was the FREE design from EmbLibrary when you order $10. or more in full price patterns. 

The placemat is actually light tan but the scan makes it look gray. I just love these 3 color medleys!

Too busy...

Life keeps getting in the way to make cards. Of course I have been embroidering a lot lately too. So I made this card yesterday.

It's design is unique since it is split and a wedge cut out so you can see the inside. 

The collage of butterflies are  holding it together but it gives a great new look.

New Snack/Mug Rug

Just had to try this Free pattern. It's a snack/mug rug; 5 x 7. I just love it. Great gift for the pianist or music lover.

There is also a pattern for a 4 x 4 Mug Rug. May try that next. They are such FUN to make.

Stampin Up Card Kits

Embroidered Ear Rings

Embroidered these ear rings. They are so cute; love them.

Something to pass the time while snowed in! Today though all is clear but no where to go!

Movie Night under the Stars

Josie's dad, Tim, built an outdoor frame with a sheet on it to make an outdoor theater to enjoy in the summer.

Merry Christmas

This is another Christmas card. I found the scrap of Designer Paper on my table and put it to use. Love using up scraps. The base is Garden Green with the top folding card Cherry Cobbler.

I tied silver ribbon around the bottom section. The sentiment was from a Gina K stamp set. 

Well we have snow and ice today and too bad to get out and drive.

Flowers in a jar

I love the little jars. But boy did I have issues making this card. Everything I did was wrong but finally got it right. As you can see the Garden Green opens up for the sentiment and is mounted on the Crushed Curry mat.

I had to use five Dimensionals to make the flowers look like they were coming out the top of the jar; colored with Blends. It was a interesting card to make. I did fussy cut the flowers and used the jar punch to punch out the hole to put the finished jar inside. I used the new blending brushes to add the water to the jar.

More Ornaments

I stitched these the day before but they are taking forever to dry. They don't seem to be as sturdy as the other Free Standing Lace but I love them.

They are approximately 3.5 inches wide. I do love though how they turned out. Hope you like them too.

Tulle Angel

I added a layer of Green Tulle between the layers of wash away stabilizer and it really made her pop. I love the look. 

I did do a lavender one and used lavender thread instead of white and it really does not do much for me.

Believe it or not, there is a layer of lavender tulle in between the stabilizer! Like the white thread a lot better.

Early Start...

Made these last night (getting a jump on Christmas) Took 6 bobbins, 4.5 hours, 127,000+ stitches! on two layers of Water Soluble Stabilizer.
