Gift Card Holders
Using the Stampin Up Big Shot Die Pop-Up Look Here I made these gift card holders! They are so cute and you can make them for all occasions. It is so much better than 'just a card'. I made some for Thank Yous, Birthdays and one Christmas. Oh it does fit in a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 standard envelope. Great craft show items!

Scenic Season
Well I think this new Stampin Up stamp set will win everyone's heart like Lovely as a Tree. It's simple, yet elegant! Sad to say, this one was borrowed so guess that will go on my wish list now. I love it. It's stamped with Handsome Hunter on a Top Note Die and matted with a basic black top note die cut. I scrubbed a little Bashful Blue for the illusion of snow. A sprig of ribbon accents this card nicely. Thanks for stopping by and thank you, Brenda for ordering this stamp!

A Kind Word
I found this little lady on my craft table so decided to finally make a card. She was colored with Copics (I'm still playing with them). I used some scraps I found in my stash and Almost Amethyst CS accented with a few Prima flowers. I love the stamp set and one of these days I will master Copics (maybe). Thanks for stopping by.
Oh the little bitty stamp at the bottom says 'living inspired'.

Little Wooden Basket
The little round basket was alot easier than I thought it would be out of the new wooden sheets. I sure wish I had the larger Carl Cutter since the paper is 14" long then I would not have had to piece it in places. This is fashioned after the original Laura Canale basket. I used Razzleberry Lemonade DSP for the flowers and of course, filled it with CHOCOLATE! I love the wood paper so am still checking it out for things to make with it. I would recommend you try it.

Another Copic (Practice)
I have been watching lots of Copic videos on You-Tube. There are lots of instructional and good tip videos out there. This is the Loads of Love SU stamp set backed with with a Cricut cut and for the blue mat I used Argyle Embossing Folder brayered with Bashful Blue. Practice, practice!

Black & White Wedding!
I thought this was stunning & simple! I used the new Stampin Up Embossing folder and placed a black brad in each flower. I hope you can see this on the picture. If you don't have black brads, you can emboss the top with black embossing powder. Just heat it and dip in the powder and heat again.

Wood Sheet
Stampin' Up came up with some really cool wood sheets. You get 4 per package and it can be used like any other cardstock. I tried embossing on it and I should have heated it from the bottom because it curled slightly and when I adhered it to the cardstock it split. It's ok but I am learning!
I used the Nature's Silhouettes, detail embossing powder mounted on Handsome Hunter embossed with a Cuttlebug Embossing folder then mounted on Basic Black. Makes a great masculine card. It is always inspiring to experiment with new things. Try IT!

A Kind Word
I wanted to try coloring again with Copics but I goofed and used cheap paper and it sure 'ain't' Whisper White so the colors ran a little but I did get in alot of practice. I love this set and it is great for coloring. I started one using SU Markers and I will post that one later.

RAK from local demo
Thank you, Clara. I received this gorgeous RAK from Clara Sanchez, a local orphaned SU Demo. She moved here from Florida and we met thru Late Night Stampers Message Board and how funny since she only lives across town. She is a great person and as you can see great designer. I was so surprised - it made my day! Thanks again for such a beautiful remembrance.
If the picture does not come thru, check my blog it is there now. I hit the wrong button...

Calendar Ball
I just love this new die. What a great gift! (teacher, friend, SELF, etc.) I used To the Nines Designer Paper. The calendar was printed using red-castle.com's print calendar feature. The measurements to put in are 1.50 height & 1.25 width and I printed this with NO outlines and of course, 2010. The two tag punches are perfect fits and you don't have to cut a thing. I did not put this on a base because 1/2 year you just flip it over. GREAT DIE!

Cards, Cards & More Cards!
I am hosting Workshop in August to make Christmas cards from the Stampin' Up Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin' Kit. There are so many possibilities for the kits; cards, scrapbook pages, mini-albums, etc. These are the first 12 I made from only 1/2 of the kit and there's lots of stickers left as well as DSP and I still have an untouched 1/2 kit for Scrappin' the holiday! Check them out in the catalog starting on Page 164. Never too early to start.
These were all very easy to assemble and very little stamping. I hope I have time to make another set exactly like this one but dress them up so I can show the comparison. This would be a great project for anyone to use as a gift or personal use. Great for a gift to the elderly, teacher, friend - could even make a little gift box. They are all flat for easy mailing! (no extra postage)

Late Night Stamper's Weekly Challenge
This week its HOT COLORS! I used 1 1/4" mats and 1" Pink Passion squares. After stamping Inspired by Nature using Pink Passion Classic Ink I highlighted the flowers with the white gel pen. Using brads as accents and black ribbon to anchor the sentiment, my HOT PINK card was complete. I did however have an ulterior motive - at one of my stamp a stacks my friend and I punched about 100 1 1/4" squares tooooo many so I had to use them when the words, hot pink & black came up! Thanks for stopping by.

Petal Card Box
This cute little box was made putting 4 Petal Card Big Shot Die cuts together. No point in re-inventing the wheel so there is a tutorial on Ilina Crouse's Blog. It can be used as a photo block (2.5 x 2.5) or as a little gift box filled with candy, money is always good!, or whatever! I used Always Artichoke and Eggplant Envy with the Kind & Caring Thoughts Level III hostess set. I love that set and hate to see it not in the catalog itself. Great new way to use the Petal Card Die! Now let's get stamping.

Bermuda Bay Showcase
My Stamp Clubs meet this weekend and I wanted to 'showcase' the new Thoroughly Modern Designer Paper and some of the new colors. I came up with this simple design using the Daisy Big Shot Die, scallop oval punch & large oval punch. Rose Red CS is the base accented with Bermuda Bay mat & oval. I love those Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. It has a senitment for EVERY occasion! I used the reverse side of the Bermuda Bay ribbon.

Faux Stencil
I did not realize it had been so long since I posted but life got rather busy and I also had to make 50 baby shower invitations for my new grandbaby boy! So I have been crafting but not posting.
This card was inspired by Kayleen Clements. I don't have an ornament stencil so I made one using Stampin' Up punches. The words are stamped in Gold from Level One Hostess Set (really a nice set). The branch is from the retired set Peaceful Wihses but it just seemed to fit. I used Spica Markers to go over the branch so in real life it sparkles. The cardstock is Garden Green & Real Red. I hope you like it.
Until next post (soon I hope)

Mono Masking
This is a Technique Junkie's technique called Mono Masking. I just wanted to play around with it and at first I was not really pleased with my card but the more I played the more I liked it. I used Night of Navy CS & Real Red; brads - unknown, Courage is the stamp. The picture is chalked and then I sprayed it lightly with hair spray to keep it from smearing. The design is growing on me LOL! It was fun and I love that stamp set.

Pop Up Ball
This is SU's new pop-up ball. Great for displaying pictures or as I did make a calendar. This was my first one so ignore the errors please. Next time I make a calendar I won't attach it to the base as instructed. I added the Daisy Die cut on top and a little flower on the base. It was fun to make but MUST follow the directions. I hope to make some more soon. Sorry the picture is a little blurry.

Vintage Card
I made this note card for my sister. The picture is my grandmother in her wedding dress. I printed it on a transparency and then crumpled up some vellum and distressed it with Suede ink. Card is Kraft CS & Baja Breeze scraps! I used circle scissors to cut the circles! It was a fun card to make especially since it was a family picture. I used the Sense of Time SU stamp set.

Cuttlebug Waxed Paper Resist
This is bordering blue using the Cuttlebug Embossing folder 'Snowflakes'. The technique was first introduced thru Technique Junkies but you can find it under Resources at Splitcoast Stampers. It's fun, easy and what a great effect. You even get two backgrounds from one technique.

Early Birthday
I know it's early for April but let's plan ahead! My friend let me borrow this set and I finally had a chance to use it. I was also using my scraps to make this card. This set is on page 178 of the new catalog (it was in the old one too) It's not real impressive until you use it. Lots of possibilities. May have to get one. My friend made enough of these for a full year - great idea & thanks for sharing.

Ole' Rooster
This technique is from Technique Junkies called Framing. The rooster is retired but I still like him! I used Razzledazzle Lemonade DSP and Dusty Durango CS for the card itself. It is a fun technique but after making it there are some improvement I would have made.
