My husband gives me such nice 'gifts'. This is an empty spool fishing line came on and I guess this is the ultimate recycling project! I filled the inside with buttons, eyelets, clips etc. then wound 1 - 2 yard various pieces of ribbon on the spool then embellished! Makes a really unique gift for a fellow crafter!

Thanks for playing along Nancy - love your recycled project. I would have never thought to recycle the fishing line spools, I'm going to have to look more closely at what fishing packaging DH tosses.
