Quick and Easy

I made this using my 1 3/4 punch and the wide oval punch from Stampin' Up. I cut this out of a 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 sheet of Crumb Cake and made the little insert, embossing it with the square lattice embossing folder. For accent I added 3 gold glimmer brads. See Quick and Easy note card.

Double CASE

My 'Worker' card was made using a kit I purhcased from Valita's Fresh Folds. It is great! You can make 10 different styles of 'men'... It's her MEN ONLY set. I used the Stampin' Up Totally Tool stamp set.
The second card was inspired by Becky Jensen. I have been looking for Chocolate things to make and this is a card made to look like a candy box using double embossing and embossing a window sheet to go over top! I used the Stampin' Up gold metallic cardstock.

Plain & Simple

Or should I say - quick & easy! Cajun Craze is the base with Whisper white on top for this card. The heart was stamped with Nature Walk and punched. I did however use the trio flower punch for the flowers. It is retired but you could use the little button die or in fact, little buttons! It could be used for any type card as well as a note card.
Hope you like it.

It was a quick and easy card. All materials are Stampin' Up! The card on my blog looks alot better than the one uploaded to the Stamping 411 Blog. Thanks for stopping by.

Fushia Flower w/ Card Box

I found Valita's blog and you HAVE to see it.
Valita's Fresh Folds BLOG... ooooodles of tutorials and some gorgeous stuff... check it out! I 'cased' the card box and Fushia Flower card from her blog (her's is much better) and wanted to share with you. My internet has been out all day so hope it stays up now. I used Melon Mambo, Concord Crush and Sahara Sand as the main colors for this card. It fits beautifully in the little box which is made using ONE sheet of 8.5 x 11 cardstock. It was a great day to craft since it snowed a little here last night. I must admit I cleaned a little too (UGH!)
My stamens are a little long but it is a really great flower!

Coffee Holder

I stopped by Mary Brown's Blog and saw this cute little gourmet coffee holder. Great little gift for the office and any occasion! If you visit her blog there is a template to make this cutie! Also great way to use DSP scraps! I would next time use a 12x12 sheet rather than 11"; it would make it a little taller!

Take A Spin

Take A Spin is the theme of this quick and easy card. I used Real Red and Pacific Point cardstock with pieces of Celabrations Designer Paper. The Game Spinner Hands (121893) and Take A Spin Stamp Set (122015) are in the current Occasions Mini! Great kids cards!
Thanks, Brenda, for letting me borrow your set! which now means I have to order one too!

Different Valentine

This card is actually much better in real life! I found the little onesie owls on my table and it transpired from there since I am unable to throw anything away (LOL)! The buttons and ribbon are retired. I used the set Cute By the Inch (Hostess set) and Owl Together Now (111534). Crumb cake and Early Expresso are the main colors with a little accent of Real Red! It's not my usual style but you have to vary on occasion!

Stamp A Holics 152

Today's challenge (152) is brought to you by the very talented Marisol Gutierrez - A Touch of Sol. It is a really serene scene suggesting either wedding or vacation; even retirement. When I saw it the Springtime Vintage Designer paper from Stampin' Up just popped into my head and I went with that. Yes, the mat is askew and is supposed to be. I used the Torn Frame (a Technique Junkie technique) plus several of the new embellishments from Stampin Up featured in the new mini-catalog. It was a great vintage card to create and only took about 15 minutes to make!
Run on over to the Stamp-A-Holics Blogspot, join our challenge and check out all the other entries!

A total Zindorf CASE

Michelle made this card and I just had to try it. I love that Have a Seat Stampin' Up Set and she really did it justice! You can check it out HERE. She made a square card and I did the standard 4.25 x 5.5 using River Rock cardstock and Basic Black. I did, however color the brads with Copics Putty marker to get them closer to the River Rock color. I hope you like it as much as I do. Great note card.

Two Shares Today

Two very unrelated shares today! The little owl treat box made from the pillow box die (113466) was inspired by Lynn Put. What a cute Valentine's gift... thanks Lynn
BTW it is my understanding the NEW Pillow Box Die is much better than the old design!
The large paper clip bookmark was made using 8 layers of Coffee Filter (yes, coffee filter) punched with the scallop circle punch. Great Bookmark and easy, peasy!

Technique Junkie's Challenge

This week's Technique Junkie Challenge is the Wet Stencil! I used Pacific Point and Old Olive cardstock on this 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card. Since I have no stencils, I used a Stampin' Up die to make the stencil cutting it out of a sheet of acetate!
Hop over to the Technique Junkie website and check it out! To learn these great techniques, please subscribe!

Stamp A Holics Challenge 151

Now that the holidays are over we're all trying to get back up to speed. Our first Stamp A Holic Challenge for the new year was mine. It was a 3D challenge (45 mins.) I made this tissue box cover which I had previously done at my Stamp Clubs.
This one features a snowman from Kim Score. The sides that are now showing have die cut snowflakes! It fits a square tissue box and the pattern can be found at the upper left sidebar. It is quick and easy. I did not really get to time this one since I was watching my grandson and it took a lot longer to do both. LOL! The base was done with Not Quite Navy cardstock.
You use one 12 x 12 sheet and one 8.5 x 11 and you do have scraps left over. I also found that the Walmart tissues fit great but the Puffs are a little taller but can be fixed by adding a border on the bottom. Hope you like it and visit the Stamp A Holics blogspot for all the other designer creations.
My dd made about 12 of these for Christmas gifts for her co-workers!
Until next time!

Button Braclets

Another way to use your Stampin' Up Buttons. This was my first attempt and I think it turned out pretty good. Love the colors; this is from the Regal Collection. I saw this on Patty Bennett's blog w/ instructions. AC Moore does carry the Stretch Magic. I did forget to get the crimper bead to finish it off but will get some shortly. What a great little gift item and what a great idea! Until next time! Happy Stampin' & Scrappin'

Punch Tulip

Another Owl Punch for ya! The flower was made using the owl punch and the small oval! I used So Saffron and Soft Suede for this Spring-ie card. For some reason the scan is really bad on the colors today!
I used printed paper from the 12x12 printed color paper and 1/4 circle from the Scallop Circle Die and punched holes in each scallop. Believe it or not it is actually prettier irl (in real life).
Until next time!
