Make Your Own Window Sheets
I cut a piece of acrylic from a container we bought something in (recycling). I then used discontinued rubons to be sure it would look ok and created the 'window sheet'. I love it. Making this card, I used To the Nines (great SU designer paper) and accented with Chocolate Chip & Sage Shadow ribbon. I have gone crazy with Sage Shadow; had to order 2 rolls of their ribbon in the last month! Sometimes you just get hooked on certain colors.
TIP: I used small SU glue dots under the flowers to attach the sheet to the card so it is unnoticed.

Golden Oldies
My friend, Brenda, left me this stamp set to use over the weekend and it is soooo cute! Love IT! This is my first attempt at 'people' (or as my granddaughter would say 'HUMANS') using Copics. I now am very sure it's practice, practice, practice. It also gave me a chance to use some paper I had precut for a stamp-a-stack 'cause I was over anxious and cut tooooo much. I put Spica glitter pens on the cupcake & party hat and topped it off with a pom-pom. I used 'To the Nines' DSP on the guy card and Walk in the Park for the lady card.

Embossed Rose
Patty Bennett started this craze and it is really pretty. I however reversed her technique. I brayered the Manhattan Embossing folder instead of the debossed side of the card. I kinda over-brayered it but it still turned out nice. Patty made a video for ya (click here). It is a fun and quick technique and produces beautiful results.
She used Shimmer White Paper and I had sorta forgotten about it so I pulled out my shimmer white and boy it really is pretty. You can't really tell much about it in the picture but it is gorgeous paper. Great Mother's Day card!!!

LNS Challenge #17
We were to CASE a card from Sherrill Graff's blog. It was a hard choice! This was originally posted by Charlene (click her name to see the post). I used Basic Gray CS with Kiwi Kiss accents. The printed paper is from the Hostess Set in the Spring/Summer '09 Catalog. I hope you like it. I hope I am posting all this correctly; there are so many challenges! If you haven't checked out the Late Night Stampers Yahoo Group, it is worth a look! Come join the fun.

Buzzin' by... slider card
Julie Semones (InkedDujour) was my inspiration for this slider card. That set is so cute and is a perfect fit for a slider card. The hive and flower are on Dimensionals. I also used a dime instead of pennies for the back of the slider bee since they are thinner and it slides so well. I stamped the back of the card using the brayer and a bubble envelope. I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

LNS Challenge #16
While digging thru some old 'stash' I ran across this Formica tile from Home Depot and it screamed So Saffron! I used the Bright Delight rubons for the pear and Good Morning Sunshine for the designer paper. This was the Late Night Stampers Sketch Challenge #16 and for some reason this all just 'worked'! The So Saffron Twill was from Sale-A-Brations and the tile was attached with Dimensionals and there was a neat little hole in the top for the bow.
Sometimes a little cleaning out works wonders BUT can't make a 'habit' of it!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope I have given you a little inspiration today. Now get 'stampin' or cleaning!

Bright Delights
Ya gotta love rub-on's especially the new colored rub-on's! I just never think about using them on a card. Scrapbooking generally gets all their attention. This card was inspired by one I saw on Patty Bennett's blog. Neat, clean lines & easy-peasy!
Thanks for stopping by...

It's all in the WRAPPING!
This is a cute little stationery (notecard) holder I purchased from 'My Timeless Templates" by Lauren Meader! Check it out.
As usual I am trying to use all my leftovers and I think this project finished up this designer paper Holiday Happenings (Fall/Winter Hostess Level III - '08), The color combination is fantastic - kiwi kiss, baja breeze, pink pirouette (you can use Chocolate Chip but I choose not to use it). Basically all the cards were made with little scraps. I added the mini envelope for stamps.
What a great gift idea for any occasion. I only made 4 cards but the pockets will hold as many as 8 if you keep the embellishments flat! Anyway, I did find that the pdf you buy is a little smaller than the size it should be when printed. I guess it depends on your printer as to how that is handled. I made one that was toooo small just by about 1/4" so I had to remake it. Just be careful the printed patterns are the correct size.

From the Desk of...
This was a template from Connie Stewart's Blog. This can be made from one sheet of paper but I decided to use two since it has been a while since I used Tango Tangerine or Pacific Point. This I stamped, colored and cut flowers from Dream a Little Hostess Level II set. The From the desk of... was printed from my computer! To fill the tray you cut about 50 sheets of typing paper in 1/4's. I did stamp the first 10 or so sheets with a saying but don't think I'm gonna do them all (LOL)... Also have not decided from 'which' desk so I left the oval blank to be filled in later. Have fun! Great gift for the office and I did make a smaller one for a post-it pad!

TSSC & Color Throw Down Challenge
There are soooo many challenges! and I am sooooo confused. I made this card for the TechnoStamper's Lunchtime Challenge and at the same time, the Color Throw Down Challenge! Anyway I used Baja Breeze, Ruby Red, Basic Gray CS. I also used the Scallop circle Big Shot die, circle scissors for the middle's and the scallop oval punch and medium oval punch for the saying! Stamp sets used are the Hostess Level II Dream A Little & the leaves are from the God's Beauty set. These are really fun colors and easy to combine. (Brads - Rose Red SU)
One of these years I will get the hang of these challenges and maybe win one or two!!! LOL

Flower Pot Card
These cards are great Mother's Day cards and I have seen them all over the internet. This is my first one and on the next one, I will make some adjustments. It fits a standard card size envelope (4 1/4 x 5 1/2). I did not stamp any type greeting since I am not sure what I want to do with it. I really just made it for a sample. They are so cute and fun to do.

Another Masculine Card
This is the famous Zindorf brayering technique and I used the deer from the Backwoods stamp set (SU). Quick and easy masculine card for any occasion! I used metal photo corners. Cardstock is More Mustard and Basic Black. I used the white gel pen to make ripples in the water. After I stamped the deer I thought boy he looks funny WELLLLL he was blue in the middle! so I had to color him with SU markers.

Quad-Fold card
This card folds to be 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 so no envelope worries. Cut a 12 x 5 1/2 piece of card stock; SCORE at 2", 4", 8", 10". place long edge in cutter and cut 1 1/4" down from the 2" score to the 10" score. Make mountain & valley folds (see picture) Decorate as desired! Believe it or not it is actually quick and easy! I love those colors and I actually made this just so I would have a sample. The flowers & leaves are Sizzlits (SU) and the butterfly from the Big Shot Butterfly die!
BTW the Flip Album in the post below is for sale at my ETSY store!

Flip Album - Birthday
I made this Flip Album using less than 1/2 of the Best Ever Simply Scrappin' Kit from Stampin' Up. I love the kits. No worries on what type embellishments since it is loaded with stickers, sayings, borders, etc. I plan a class on this in June and the good thing about using the Scrappin' Kit, you can make two of these and STILL HAVE left-overs. We all love left-overs. What a great gift item... loads of room for journaling and pictures. Great for Mother's day filled with lots of happy memories! Just change the theme.
I'm sorry I have not posted for a few days but my little kitty (she's seven) is in kidney failure and we are trying to nurse her back to health. I will keep you posted. We have to go back to the vet tomorrow or Wednesday and I can't get her to take the pills or eat so I am praying she is getting some nurishment from the little she is drinking.
I have been able to make a few things and will try and keep up better.

Bit O' Honey
I made these a few weeks ago. Took longer to find the candy than to make the treat bags. After brayering the inside of a bubble wrap envelope I rubed it on the So Saffron paper then cut with the top note, added the cute little bee & tag. The honey comb opens from the top and has two Bit O' Honey candies. I saw the honeycomb on another site and it has been so long I can't remember where. Just a cute litte handout gift; quick & easy.

Another Quilted Card
This is such a fun technique and great way to use those tiny scrapys we just 'can't seem to get rid of'! Using the SU 1 1/4" square punch, cut 12 'quilt squares' and adhere together on a piece of cardstock and then cut with the Top Note and your Big Shot. I had exactly 12 tiny pieces of this cardstock left over so...

REVISED - TSSC & Color-Throw Down Challenge
This is my REVISED Challenge... I don't know what I was thinking but I used Baja Breeze and Sage Shadow on the first card. I knew the color scheme looked strange but did not realize it till I took the photo. I'm soooo sorry but I did revise the ribbon a bit and I like it better. What a day!?@$@!
Guess I mixed the two challenges... oh well! Anyway the colors chosen are pink pirouette, sage shadow & cameo coral. I'm not sure I am crazy about the combo but gave it a try. I used the texture plates on the background brayered with Cameo Coral ink & Sage shadow ink on the sage shadow circle. I cut a top note to make the ribbon carrier and anchored it with an SU decorative brad. I used both the scallop circle Big Shot dies.
Hope you like it.

Baby Card
A friend asked about making baby cards and since I don't have ANY baby stamps (gotta add to my wish list) I ran across this design on Splitcoast Stampers (Angelwilde). It is soooo cute and you can do it in any color; yellow, pink, blue, green, lavendar! The circles are 2 1/4"; 2" and then the scallop round punch run thru the Big Shot using the Swiss Dot embossing folder; the face is the 1 3/8" punch w/ the eyes, nose & mouth drawn on. I forgot to put cheeks so I will do that but the picture was taken before them! Anyway, have fun!

SU Marker Flower
I colored this cute little pot using SU markers. It was stamped on the 140 lb. watercolor paper with Staz-on and it sure is easy to blend. I used Orchid Opulence and Lovely Lilac for the remainder of the card and the scallop punch on the strip of paper. Cuttlebug swiss dots accents the mat for the flower pot cut with the oval scallop die. I simply love the new scallop oval punch from Stampin Up!
Sorry I have been lax on posting but still under the weather a bit and trying to rest and get back to NORMAL (whatever normal is)! LOL

One Scrappy Card
Looking around my craft table I had all sorts of scraps! I made the flower playing with the SU markers (pretty in pink, yoyo yellow, almost ametheyst). Then I spotted this small piece of left over ribbon and decided just to combine them all. Hope you like it. Looks "Spring-ie"

Thank You in Black & White
I used several Cuttlebug Embossing folders to make this card. If you place them carefully you only have to run it thru twice. Between the embossing, I used a bone folder and scored straight lines. It is so simple and elegant at the same time.

Bunny Top Note
While surfing around I ran across the pattern for this cute little bunny top note box! Directions are HERE! Amy Celona has lots of cute stuff on her website, worth a visit.
The more pictures I take the more I know I need some help with it. Sorry my pics are so unprofessional; I'll have to work on that.
The bunny was made using SU punches and adhered to 1/2 a top note. I used Tea Party paper for the top note box. I did however make my box a little bigger than the one on the pattern by adding 1/2 inch on both sides. What a cute little gift for someone special filled with Easter Candy! Enjoy!

Father's Day
Made this using the Backwoods Stamp Set and To the Nines Designer Paper. Quick, simple but lots of layering. I paper-pierced the circle to give it some accent; ribbon is Sage Shadow. Love that new paper. The weight is great for cards, layers, boxes or just about anything.

Gift Folder w/ Cards
I made this little folder (from scratch) and filled with 4 completed cards to give a friend. I made lots of mistakes on it and have since thought of several design improvements! (will keep you posted) It measures 6 x 5 and I needed to make the spine 1/2 inch instead of 1/4... O well next time! I used Not Quite Navy paper and the printed from the 6x6 SU Hostess gift. Hope she likes it.

Easter Basket
This was made using six SU Big Shot Envelopes. I put a 5 1/2 inch circle in the bottom to cover the hole between envelopes. I used the Designer Paper from SAB. It's really a great size for lots of Easter Goodies! I know it looks sorta empty and it is! Gotta get something for it!
